Reira simply nodded in response to Alturius. He had left her fairly speechless; she hadn't met anyone who seemed so hell-bent on taking over the world before. Then again, maybe it was just one of those days. Recovering her ability to speak, she voiced an agreement with his plan. "Today's a perfect day to relax and have fun. The band's good, this place looks lovely, and there are lots of Pae to meet!"
"If you are wanting to get out more you could try surfing," she suggested to Lucius. "Hula Bob gives surfing lessons down at Pae'Kippu beach. It's not far from here, and it's so much fun! Plus, everyone seems to gather at Hula Bob's bar."

Lucius nodded slowly and chuckled lightly, "If you say so, Reira was it?" He smiles and moves on closer towards the actual room itself, looking around. "I guess I might could give it a shot, but I'm not really what you'd call physically active."
Alturius chuckled. "Well, I could use a book man, if you'd like something to do, I could always use a hand, that goes for you to Reira, I always have room in my enterage."

"Maybe I'll see you down there sometime, then." Reira smiled again. She'd be happy to see more new faces around Hula Bob's, since she spent most of her free time there.
"You've got big plans, haven't you?" she addressed Alturius, an amused look on her face. "Well, I'm sorry, but you see... I'm already a princess. I can't very well simply join your forces, when I have my own matters to attend to." She casually brushed her hair back for effect. "But I wish you the best of luck."

Alturius shook his head, "How many bloody princesses does this isle have? I've met like three!" Grumbling a little he just shrugged it off. "Regardless, perhaps later we can come to some sort of agreement as to what you might be willing to work with me on, but anyway, today is for a party, so lets have some fun!" He started to move towards the dance floor and chuckled. "I think, if the music gets a little better, I shall have to find a dance partner."
Lucius rolled his eyes and looked to Reira, making the universal 'he's crazy' motion with his hand before shaking his head. "Well, I'm gonna go check out the food first, I'm starved," He chuckled and started to make his way towards the foodstuffs.

Reira would have been taken a bit aback that there were other 'princesses,' had she honestly believed a word Alturius was saying any more. At least he had a good battle plan for now - dancing was starting to sound pretty good to her. "Maybe I'll see you out there, then. Good luck with your search!" she replied with a laugh, parting ways with him for now.
"So... He's always like that?" Reira asked, catching up to Lucius. She didn't seem particularly bothered; if anything, she was amused. Picking up a cup, she poured punch for herself and took a taste. Delicious!

Lucius shrugged, "I have no clue, but probably, I don't know about you, but he comes off as a bit crazy to me." Shuddering at the thought of taking anything Alturius said with any seriousness, he went and grabbed some of the food, and snagged, a drink, taking a sip. "Not bad, not bad at all,"

"Oh, I'd assumed you two were good friends when you came in," Reira replied, her focus split between the conversation and the food. "And maybe he just has a unique view of things..." Go figure, the angel would try to find the good in everyone. She did recognize that this conversation couldn't get much kinder toward Alturius, and opted to change the subject. "Oh, blueberry muffins!" she noted. Food seemed to be a fairly safe topic...

"Blueberry?" Lucius reached for one and took a nibble. "Not bad, but I think my mom makes better," He chuckles and shakes his head slowly. He personally hadn't met Alturius until today, and he thought the guy was nuts. Of course, he wasn't going to continue with that line of the conversation unless Reria brought it up again, he was polite. "So, what are you thinking of doing at the party?"

"Uhm... Partying?" Reira replied with a laugh. "I came by to meet some new people, and I always love dancing. Like you said, it's always nice to get out and clear one's thoughts..." Basically, Reira didn't have a specific reason. "I haven't seen anyone I know yet, though! What about you?"

Lucius shrugged. "Nobody yet really, though my dad knows Elder Sol," Lucius chuckled shaking his head very slowly. "But I haven't actually met the man myself, dad said that the Elder is something like a grandfather figure to him, tho I don't see why, they're not related at all, I just think my dad looks up to him."
"Which I never asked him to do I'll have you know," The Elder Sol said as he had walked behind the Fae-teen. "I tried to help your older sister out of a pickle, how is she nowdays?"
Lucius went pale. "S-she's alright sir..."

Reira had turned her head to look out at the dance floor. "Really? The only Elder I know is Jazz... She's so nice."
When she turned her head back, she almost jumped in surprise. Realizing it would be rude to stare, she turned her attention back to the food, her ears still focused on the Fae and Elder next to her.

"That's good to hear," Sol said as he moved by the teens to get at the food. "Oo! Blueberry!" He chuckled and snagged a muffin. "Been awhile since I've had a good Blueberry muffin," taking a bite he chuckled then swallowed. "Yes, a very good blueberry muffin."
Lucius was floored, this Elder was acting, well, normal! He'd always expected Elders to be high and mighty and just... THERE! This was very much turning his established worldview up and on it's head.

Reira couldn't hold her silence any more, and looked up at the elder with a cheerful smile. "Blueberry's my favorite, too!" she commented with a slight giggle. She hadn't been sure if all of the Elders were as nice as Jazz had been, but now she believed so.
"What are you the Elder of?" she asked with curiousity. She couldn't tell from his appearance, though she thought it might have something to do with the sky.

Sol chuckled and bowed his head. "My name is Sol, and I am the Solar elder, my powers deal with the sun," He smiled back at her and offered her his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss...?"
Lucius was watching, and he was a bit floored still.

"Reira," she offered, presenting her own hand for a gentle shake. "The sun? That sounds like a pretty important job." She smiled politely. "It's nice to meet you, Sol."
To Lucius, she commented, "So, you have a sister, then?" She hoped this would inspire some sort of story, or at least a description. Sometimes it seemed like everyone on the whole island had a family... except for her. She tried not to let it bother her, though.
