Dagen struggled and pushed at Warslik to get him away from her. "You big sissy!" She yelled at him. She had no good way to avoid the leeches in the water, even her invisibility didn't stop them. So she just plucked them off when she would get out of the water. And if Warslik was climbing all over her after being in the water, she didn't want him getting his leeches on her. "Don't get any sucker-bugs on me! Get off!"

Warslik flailed and stumbled backwards when he let go of Dee, his ankle catching on a piece of exposed root buried in the silt. With a loud splash he sank belowe the water, only to quickly crawl his way back up to look for the 'sucker bugs'. He saw a few of the black worms on his arms, and he grumbled. "This small things eat?" He asked lifting up his arm to look at them.
What he didn't know... was those were the BABIES.

Dee snickered a little watching Warslik. "Oh, and don't eat them. They will eat your insides too." She waded out of the water and plucked the few that had latched onto her leg and flung them at the pillar. A couple actually popped making a bloody mess. "Don't go any further in than I did or the BIIIIIIG ones will get you. That is just a lil' one." she held up her and put a finger close to her thumb to indicate the little ones.

Warslik nodded and lept out of the swamp and went about the bloodly business of prying the leeches off. That had SWARMED him it seems, having sensed the blood from his head wound when he'd dipped under the water. His legs were covered in the buggers, and Warslik was working hard to pull each and every one off his black skin, because they matched so well. Though soon he was more red than black, with a huge amount of released leeches back into the swamp.
"Bah, next time Slik send Bix in first to blast em all," He said with a nod standing up and pulling the last few off his arms. "Bugs pain in butt..."

Dagen laughed watching Slik pluck the leeches. She'd never been covered in that many before so it was funny to her. He had a few on his back still that she knew he couldn't reach she strolled over and casually plucked one off and held up up by the tail close to him. "You's got 'em all over yer back, Slik."

"Aw man!" Slik groaned and looked to Dee. "You get 'em for me Dee?" He asked his head turned towards her, trying his hardest to ignore the leech in his face. "I can't get 'em" He said, grunting as he tried to grab them off his back and failed.

Dagen plucked them all off, even the one that was attached to his butt. When she thought she was done, she noticed one on his wing spine. "Stupid sucker-bugs." She grumbled. "They's why I don't over to the rocks in the middle." she pointed towards the ruins of the temple. Sure she could just fly over there, but where was the challenge in that?
Truth be told, sometimes Dagen forgot she knew how to fly. It was as strain for her small, teenage wings to carry her growing body.
"They can see me when I unvis'ble too. I unno how, either." she explains to Warslik.

Warslik shrugged. "I unno either," He said, slowly turing his back towards the swamp. "Next time tho, I send Bix in, he kill 'em all dead, then we can soak in peace!" He nodded his head stretched his arms out, there were little red pucker marks from where he'd plucked the leeches. "Bleh, ugly sucker-bugs, make me all splotchy now, and make me feel groady..." Warslik was feeling kind of ill, though from the 'minor' loss of blood, or the fact that he'd bathed an open wound in pretty much stagnant Guardians' know what, it was pretty much yet to be determined.
Though all things considered, the teen should have the immune system of a bloody OX.

Dagen shrugged. "Why you soak in muddy waters?" she asked. He was weird sometimes. "Soak in pit, it nicer and no sucker-bugs. Make you feel all warm and ... " She didn't know the word 'relax' so she pantomimed it with her arms outstretched. "Makes it easy to sleep afterwards." She was of course referring to the underground hotspring that was very near her burrough. Tho she was sure he knew about it and used it as well.

Warslik shrugged. "Not want bother going down into tunnels, sides, Dee might want to use it and kick Slik out when slik now done..." He shook his head. "Not that Slik would mind, is Dee's pit."

"You can use if I not using it. You just hafta leave if I tell you too, kay?" Dagen didn't see anything wrong with that, tho Warslik made it sound like a bad thing. "I not gonna beg ya, yanno. If you rather soak in sucker-bug and Teeth-with-legs filled water, then do that." She nodded. "But I thinks I wanna go soak myself now. I wanna get the sucker-bug spit offa me."

Warslik nodded his head. "Sound like plan," He smiled, it worked for him after all. Maybe being Dee's pet wasn't such a bad idea after all? Chuckling to himself he still felt a little woozy, but it was getting better as they walked, and maybe Dee would let him help her get the sucker bug spit off...

Dee meandered around the forest, not in any real big hurry and it was kinda fun to see how closely Warslik would follow. She'd hope with both feet like a bunny over some small rocks and stuff, just goofing off until they reached the hole that was the entrance to Dagen's Zaden-free part of the burrough. She didn't know where her sister was these days nor did she care anymore. It had been to long since she last seen her anyway, she hardly thought about her.
Anyway... She crawled into the whole, sliding down the tunnel a ways till she landed on the leaves at the bottom that she'd put there to cusion her fall. She got up and dusted herself off and turned to look to see if Warslik was still behind her.

Warslik was right on her tail... literally, well almost literally. It was strange, but the demon teen could not get over how Dee's hips moved, they were hypnotic, and he pretty much just watched her butt the whole entire walk back. When he stood, he wacked his head on the top of the burrow and grunted. "OW! Forgot I taller now!" he rubbed the top of his head, and something clicked inside his head.
He was bigger than Dee!

The sound of the soaked and muddy red foot hitting the slimy marble of the temple sounded rather like a wet sponge smacking into a bowl of pudding; in short it was the kind of sound that could induce vomiting. Grabbing onto a pillar, the hybrid tried to pull herself up out of the muck. However the wet and muddy purple hand slide across the surface causing Branwen to plop her bottom quite unceremoniously in the mud.
"Good going, moron," the demon growled angrily. "Master will be most displeased when he sees us in this state. Wen grumbled and blew upwared at the bangs that were clinging to her forehead to no avail; the strands were plastered to her forehead. She wanted nothing more than to push them up but doing so would result in a strange new warpainting method.
"It's not my fault! The icky is slippery," the angel whined pathetically. Bran never was one for getting dirty. "We need a bath!" She sighed in frustration and started to push their body up.
Branwen slowly rose to 'her' feet and this time managed to climb up into the temple, though the muck that covered 'her' sent 'her' sliding into a wall... an altar... and a statue... before 'she' just plain tripped over 'her' own feet and faceplanted. 'She' slowly descended the stairs, clutching the railing as tightly as 'she' could. There was a basin downstairs just waiting for the mud-drenched hybrid.
