Makenzie jumped out of the broken window with a bag slung over her shoulder and a beanie on her head and headed for the city. Her street clothes would blend in with the city bustle, but she was tired of the same everyday thing, so she thought she'd show another side of herself to the public.

(Oh... But just so you know, I wasn't running...)
Makenzie took a quick glance behind her and saw Sasquach, but her face held the same indifferent confidence she had when she entered the city. No one knows me like I am... she thought... Who knows, maybe some telepath could hear her and see what was going on, but she kept walking. No one knew her true abilities of the Street. A dismal smirk curled Makenzie's lips and she reached the right alley. Taking one more glance to see if she was being followed, she walked straight through and quickly climbed and hopped the metal fence within. She could feel the bass through her sneakers now...

Mikki reached the area hidden in the alley. Deifferent people weredoing different things. Some were dancing to the music, some were watching, and a couple were DJing. otherwise, there were people just talking off to the side. Some of the guys tried to pick up girls with hardly anything on, or snuck around to do something illegal, but Makenzie was there for the dancing. She hadn't battled in such a long time.

After clearing the sky of birds, he starts to feel bad about letting Makenzie go without someone to make sure she was going to be okay. "Lightning, extend my sight." he says, concentrating on his amulet. He felt the familiar drain of energy as he saw Makenzie at a party. "What are you doing?" he thought aloud.

Makenzie stood at the edge of the board people were dancing on and dropped her stuff. She adjusted her beanie and tied a scarf-belt around her waist and slid onto the board, busting a move to the beat. She snaked and popped and cracked and broke, until she got some of her own sounds and whistles of awe from the others. It wasn't long before she realized she was the only girl wearing anything suited for dancing and the boys were the only ones battling before she came. Makenzie battled a couple boys at once and slid across the board to the edge to take a break from battling. She took her bag and got a drink of water, catching her breath.

(Just to clarify, it's not really a party, but a hip-hop street battle... sweatdrop )
Makenzie sat down against one of the alley walls and leaned back to watch the other breakers do their thing. A change of pace and scenery was good, at least for now. A little unfamiliarity builds diversity. I just wish I wouldn't always feel so down when I'm not dancing... Makenzie chided herself. If only depression wasn't the constant thing controlling her emotions.
Putting her mind back to reality and watching the other breakers, she realized that she was retaining a few eyes still. With that, she stood back up and threw her water down on her back before doing a style-walk back onto the floor to dance once more.

Using the sound as a guide, he finds the place where Mikki is, and watches her. "Damn my loyalty to friends."he says under his breath.

Mkki's dancing gets more complicated, but she didn't dare go past her limits. She never felt anything bad when she was dancing her way, so she kept snaking and shaking her body to the beat until she felt a different prescence of eyes on her. Mikki turned and froze, where the other dancers would have mistaken it for a breakdance freeze if she hadn't held it there too long. Mikki faced Curse without moving from her position and the music stopped with everyone looking for the reason why. "What?" Mikki said simply. All spectating eyes turned to the situation. Great, now people might start ganging up on us. And I didn't even bring a knife.

The people just eyed the disrupters of the mood and started walking like a wall toward Makenzie. They seemed threatening, and Makenzie narrowed her eyes, but they stopped just in front of her, backed up against the wall. "Who the hell are you to come to our street battles!? You're one of them!". Makenize flinched, hating how excluding the people of the city were.

"Them?" Curse said in disbelief. Anger was now taking its hold on him, getting his adrenaline pumping, getting ready for a fight. He gave a low laugh "You think that Im just another Hellraiser, dont you?" As soon as he finished his sentence, small arcs of electricity started jumping around his body. "Well, guess what, youre wrong!" He clenched his right hand into a fist, and a blade of lightning formed in his hand. "Raigeki! Come to me!" he yelled. With a flash of light and a crack of thunder, a sword with a topaz colored blade formed in his hand. "I am the ruler of thunder and lightning, the killer of the Shrem Queen Moshnet, the second in command of the Hellraisers, and a Dark Angel!" With his introduction complete, his wings formed from the electricity, turned pitch black, and finished by growing the black bird-like feathers. "And if you even try to touch Mikki, I WILL DESTROY YOU!" Now he was encased in his own lightning, and from the feet up, the lightning turned violet and hardened into armor. He raises his sword to the wall of people "Whos first?"

"Save it..." Makenzie said calmly, "They're not worth it, and the reason they don't like us is just because they're scared" "What was that b***h!?" One of the thug-like streets said. He backed away when Mikki shot a piercing look straight through him. Fear held his eyes and he fell back, scrambling away. "All I wanted was to have some fun. Since I've had it, I'll leave you weak unaccepting losers." With that, Mikki walked straight through the mob, separating for her, picked up her bag, and started down the alleyway before Curse could respond to her actions.
