well i realize that hojo is his nemesis and everything and i did bring vincent in ff7 during the battle with hojo where he injected jenova cells into himself and he did fight him in dirge of cverberus but i think vincent should fight genesis. i just think that sephiroth was clouds guy so i think that maybe genesis should have a connection with grimoire (vincent's father) and vincent like has to find genesis for some reason like revenge or he is his lost brother in a weird turn of events. i just think it would make sense in a way or maybe genesis is sephiroths brother because genesis is the prototype of sephiroth so maybe square can go somewhere with that.

Although you have a point that sephroth should fight Vincent but i dont really believe that it fits into the overall story of Final Fantasy 7 because Vincent and Sephiroth are never left alone, i do believe Vincent should faced hojo one by one.

That is a good connection... but for the original game... I honestly think the concept of Grimoire never even came across the minds of the creators until they decided to do DoC. I think what we saw in the FFVII game as Vincent's background was all that the creators had to it and the rest was made up afterwards to satisfy fandom. I am so going to be hated for this statement but... from what they showed of Vincent in the original game... he seems like a dime a dozen character. Which is why he was originally optional. No depth came until the offshoots. Vincent, to me, was too much an after thought character to even considered for a battle with Sephiroth in the original game.

First of all Vincent V.S Sephiroth could have been an optional fight (if you have him).....because Yuffie is an optional character that was harder to get than Vincent and she had her own story and boss fight for herself (DID NOT INCLUDE CLOUD THAT MUCH) so that says a lot and second HELL NO Vincent V.S HOJO.............would have made no sense and Cloud killed him anyway (Main Character) plus that would have been over kill on Hojo (even though I don't like him).............Hojo is not that good with out the Jenova cells that a** face.............last Vincent could have killed Sephiroth with his powers if Sephiroth wouldn't have used his other transformations................(they should have put Vincent in KH2)

i dont think he shoudve because of 3 reasons. 1 he didn't care that luccile died from GIVING BIRTH TO SEPHIROTH. 2 Sephiroth's beef was with cloud. and 3 vincent had beef with hojo for impregnating lucile with jenova dna and doesnt care for sephiroth

Vence can go ahead and fight Sephiroth. There is no way in hell he can win though. I only voted yes because i wanted to even things out. Sephiroth would have made Vence's death very painful if they fought.

that would clear all this up....
1-vincent is not sepiroth's father
2-it's lucessia
3-she deid some time after giving birth
4-vencent dose fight hojo one-on-one
5-weiss is sepiroth's son...

no because Vincent's fight was not with Sephiroth. His was with Hojo

It doesn't matter whos weiss's father is. Weiss is part of deep ground who are geneticly/mako enhansed people. Their mother and farther have nothing to do with it. It was who surrived the training and mako exposer. Lucressia was killed by Hojo and then Vincent "sealed" her in that crystal place. Lucressia is Sephiroth's mother and guess who is his father ... ... HOJO. You might have played the game but you need to play it again. (don't take offense, but get your facts right)

Keeroyuy let's just leave it at that...they should've added Hojo vs. Vincent 1 on 1 battle totaly, that would have fit with the story
