Another person would find themselves being scorched by Ugu's Kidou. Blood would cover the singed pieces of bark around the forested side of the pathway. More blood. Always more blood. Ugu chuckled at this fact.
Zaraki was his second place in all of Soul Society. Its violence held no end. Ugu had no end, and could battle for eternity if his enemies never stopped coming. The stronger the tide the stronger Ugu would become. From more blood, the stronger Ugu would strike. It was a simple matter of blood.

Three had died within the span of a minute. However the bloodshed, the remaining four Zaraki inhabitants took on the fight. They all rushed toward Ugu in one valiant effort to puncture him on their small tantos. Each attack, and each attempted to score a hit on the shinigami.
As they struck at him Ugu would simply duck. He bent his knees and lowered his center of gravity to make the three-ish feet long tantos zoom of his pigtail.

So, after dodging each single attack, his Zanpakutou was gripped by both of his hands. A split second after each of his opponent's weapons went above his head he made a huge shift in his center of gravity. He moved his right foot roughly a meter behind himself a brought his sword in a massive semi circular slash.
A faint red light followed his Zanpakutou, where blood fell off of it. And, if Ugu was lucky enough, Egeus would receive another three other's blood.

Blood floated in the air as Ugu's three attacks landed. His opponents were pushed back, feeling the crimson pain of fighting someone that was most likely a thousand years out of their league. Ugu resisted any urges to laugh, cry, or cackle, though.
To laugh in the face of the dead is a karmic crime. It would eventually come to haunt him, and eventually hurt him. To enjoy another pain was a sin to the dead, as well, and invited death for whomever did it. So he continued with his swing, fully prepared to handle the next, and final, bandit.

All three fell down in their own personal pools of blood. However, as a moment passed, their puddles of blood turned into one. Ugu stood tall, then, holding his head high about the growing pond of red liquid. He then turned, and let his bright green eyes lay upon the lone and leftover bandit. The shinigami's piercing glare kept onto the lone man, and the shinigami let out a sigh.
The bandit then attempted to hurt Ugu by stabbing foward with his small blade.

Ugu's blade then, as his opponent's blade shifted to the side, stabbed forward. It was simple twitch of his wrist that made the man's sword fly southward. The shinigami's blood sodden zanpakutou would then spear toward the exposed chest of the man, aiming to rip open a hole in the victim's chest.

Ugu's sword would pierce the man's chest. And, from his strike, the man in front of him wailed in pain. "It" squirmed in pain, gasping for the end of his life and an end to the pain of existence. The Shinigami sighed, then, as he watched the gray mournful eyes of the bandit.

The gray eyes bandit still lived, strangely enough. The bandit dropped his tanto and grabbed the hilt of Ugu's zanpakutou. He then pulled his gut along the blade of the shinigami, making himself closer to the massive black-clothed monster. He raised his fist, then tried to strike the muscled behemoth in the jaw.
As the bandit moved closer Ugu remained calm. He uttered a small word and his Zanmpakutou grew by a foot. Ugu's blade then shivered with a glazed brightness, and began to ready for Ugu's command.

"Chishio Sakurifaisu [Blood Sacrifice]," Ugu muttered, after moving out of the trajectory of his victim's punch. Soon, when the technique took its effect, blood would drain into Egeus. The bandit's blood, to be specific. Within moments, if his opponent didn't move far away enough or dodged it by some miracle, his blood would zoom from every rugged part of his body.

Blood flew away from the bandit's face. The man's face turned pale, and then shriveled, as the bandit began to lose every quart of his blood. Ugu simply watched the man loose his lifeblood, without any emotion lingering on his own face.
Blood, soul, and mind. Three aspects of human nature, and aspects of the universe. Without one a creature would die. Without a mind a shinigami would die as soon as he or she stepped out into the world. Without blood one could not move, or have a physical presence. Without a soul there was no existence.
So without blood, the bandit ceased in his existence.

Ugu, with his blade clean of blood, sheathed his zanpakutou. He slid the shikai's edge into its sheath, allowing it to become sheltered from the world around it. When its edge touched the bottom of the sheath's deepest reaches, the sword shrunk by a foot, and allowed the sheath's top to touch Egeus' hilt.
He let his right hand slide to his side. The shinigami placed his left hand on his sword, and placed his left's thumb on the base of the hilt. His fingers on his left hand wrapped around the green-woven hilt, holding the sword in place on Ugu's waiste.

Peace. Honor. Guidance. Life blood. Every blood. Every blood of the dead, long past, long living.. Was guided by honor, peace, and guidance. If otherwise, they'd be the unliving; hollows. Ugu kept his blade where it was, keeping it firm to his waiste.
Pain. Suffering. Hatred. Three qualities that follows every single hollow ever in existence. In one way or another a hollow embodied the traits of pain, suffering, and hatred. Every feeling they had stemmed from suffering. They always had to endure pain in their new place in the world. The hollows always possesed hatred, unmatched by any being in the universe.
Ugu sighed as he went back towards the path. Pain. Peace. Honor. Suffering. Guidance. Hatred. Hollow, and shinigami. Norh, and south. He sighed again as he reached the dirt path of the 80th district, Zaraki.

Once reaching the path that stretched from north to south, Ugu smelt the peaceful air. It.. Was so very strange for Zaraki to be like this. The district should have been rife with bloodshed and constant struggle. It wasn't like that today.
Today was quiet. There was barely any blood on the path between the 81st district and the 79th. Where was the destruction? The carnage? Then it hit him. Hard. Quite hard. When he was battling the seven bandits he had ignored the spiritual presences around him. He had focused just on the battle, and killing his foes.
Right now, by his estimate, several hundred hollows surrounded him. Several hundred. At least.
