That was part of a chat i had with my best friend 2 nights ago. NO i never watched porno before.... yes im 23 years old. I have to confess i was curious but never really THAT curious to go and rent something...

October 16th

Rain was falling. But not just a lil rain, it was a big storm. The sound of the huge drops in the pavement were inviting me to go out and have a lil splash. I was in that lil moment when responsable thoughts are caged in your mind and only funny thoughts and stupid words come out. i must confess i was not 100% sober, so may be that explains my lack of worrys. It was near 3 in the morning, and a lot of friends were at home last night. Beer runing through my blood and taking control of my brain for some minutes. The sound of the rain and some thunders scared my friend david but not me. I only wanted to go outside. The rain makes me fuul of energy and i dont remeber such a strong rain as the one i saw last night. I just woke up from the bed and left the bedroom . Lance watched me leave. When everyone heard the lock of the front door opening they knew i was after something. I opened the door and went out runing in the rain. It was almost 3:30. The water felt so nice. It was not warn and not cold. No one on the streets but me and my crazzyness. Everyone heard me laughing, i was so happy runing in circles under the rain. I felt a lil girl again playing in summer rain. Huge puddles beside the side walk. I just jumped in all of them dancing and singing under the strong rain. When i looked back to the front door lance was there i took his hand and took him with me to the water, i got him to the biggest puddle and threw water all over him. He laughed so hard, and it made me feel so good. When we got inside again i got all the house wet but who cares? ^^

November 2nd


Well i didnt write anything on halloween because here halloween would be today. The "Deaths day" is today. But it's very diferent from what you guys are used to see. Our day is a very respectfull holliday. Ppl dont go to work and stuff so they can take flowers to their dead ppl.

Besides as i said a lot of times halloween here is not a big thing. What was a really big that day were the elections.

It'd take me a bit to tell you about politics here. What i can tell is that here in uruguay were born the first politics parties ever in the world 3nodding Who would say that such a lil country has THAT much things to tell about theirselfs and no one knows about us?

Well here we had 2 parties. The ones from the country side foundated the "white partie" and the ones from the city (capital) The "red partie". They've been ruling my country since the very begining.
In 1973 President Bordaberry gives the military the power in my country and they took over everything. Military goverment was very hard for everyone here. As you can imagine not being able to express anything in any way is hard but a lil more than that happened here. s**t real s**t. You were not able to gather with more than 2 ppl, that'd be considered conspiracy against the goverment and you'd go to jail. Most of the ppl i know went to jail at least once in military goverment here.
(Sorry american friends but this is the real truth of what happened) America sent troops to help the militars to have everything under control. They sent torture experts to teach or militars torture tecnics and our doctors the limit so they didn't kill anyone. Wehn all that happened there was a movemnt of ppl (later called TUPAMAROS) who got tired of that lack of freedom and started fighting for our independency again. They were all doctors architects ingeneer and all rich ppl, they gave everything they had for freedom. They went all to jail and suffered tortures in every way you can imagine. They got killed and the few of them who survived suffers today of wounds or huge scars from tortures. That in north amercia would consider a hero i guess, someone fighting from independency and freedom. But not here... wanna know why? Because they are considered comunists.
When i say s**t is because real s**t happened. Much more than that. But i wont explain everything cause it'd be too long (it's already but oh well, if you want to know more about military goverment here pm me and i'll tell you all you want to know). In 1984 "we got power back". We elected our president but he was not the best man in earth...
Anyways, the power in this country is ruled for about 600 families. They pretty much bught the country. They owe the media, the factories and all the sources. They are all from the White and Red parties. After military goverment finished (thanks god) The TUPAMAROS started a new political partie called FRENTE AMPLIO.
This parties ideals are way to diferent than white and reds. WHY? Because they dont want every single north country to interfeer with our economy, and they want "the people" to have control. Not centralization anymore, everyone to have chances in life and not only rich children. Older ppl was scared of them because the other parties (knowing their durty busines will die if they take control) scared ppl saying that comunism will kill our country and that the militars will go back and s**t like that. But every election this party was growing biger because my people is tired of beeing s**t, tired of not having control over their own things. So this time we made it. Last october 31 my partie won the election and take a look of how the streets were looking that day. That flags you see is my partie flag (i know most of them will like the colors ^^ )




That party you see there lasted for 10 hours. That ppl danced in the streets and chanted till the sun came up. That's my contry, that's my ppl. Im so proud of them all. Im proud of myself, for not being afraid of changing, and not being scared of all the threats i heard this days. IM PROUD OF BEING URUGUAYAN !

November 13 (the rest of it)


... We had lunch and got ready to leave. We made big banners so ppl would know where we were going. Chino (my best friend) picked us up and we left ...




The thing is that we had to tka rute 5 so we first had to go to montevideo to take that rute stressed gonk So the way we way was ....



The red points were the stops we were supose to make ... That was the main plan ...

Well... we walked 5 kilometers and someone picked us up ...

He was a really nice guy, he drove us till montevideo. There we took a bus to outside of montevideo and the begining of that rute. Rute 5. Night came and we were still on the rute...



After 19 km WALKING gonk we couldn't go too much more... so we decided to put together our tent and stop for the night... it was already 1 in the morning and we were really tired. When we were taking our things out some guys hicking too tried to chear us up and said "c'mon dont stop dont stop we gotta get there no matter what dont stop now" we just waved and kept on our things and a van stoped and the guys were picked up crying and we were there sooooo cold !! crying well we made the tent and went in the tent... it was a small one for 2 persons but we had to be 3 and all the bags cry We ate some sandwiches and went to "sleep" ^^



It was imposible to sleep there. just too much cold... the mist got all the tent wet outside and inside it was so cold gonk ... Chino slept like a ******** beast, But we just stood waiting for the day to come or to start feeling our legs sad I got bored of being there so when we were rested we got up and left. When we got out from the tent we found out that a LOT of ppl was hitch hiking and that's not good cause it was going to be harder for us to get a ride sad oh well ... we didnt want to give up (yet)... We walked till a town called "las piedras" 20 kms after montevideo and took a bus to florida (look in the maps) . There the guys tried to be sexy to get a ride but .... it didn't work too well



The things i marked with arrows are the other ppl asking for a ride just in that lil space the pcture shows ... so as you can see it was not easy to get a ride ... blaugh We went to a gas station and we started talking with everyone trying to get a ride.. but no luck ... Till finally the luck came to us after all ^^



They are Caro and German. They picked us up in florida and took us to durazno... we became good friends and we stood all the time with them. We went for beers and had so much fun smile
We finally got to durazno. The park was full of ppl and the city as well ... that night in the radio we heard that 100.000 ppl from all around the country go the concert the first day and there were more ppl in the rute trying to get there at least for the second day smile





In that oic you can see a lot of ppl but we were like in the middle of the crowd.. pretty much close to the stage... i loved that pic cause i can see the flag of my country a lot and as im about to leave ... it makes me ... i dont know how to describe the feeling redface



The concert was awesome and going back home after walking and jumping so much was very good... i know someone that was very tired...




It was an awesome trip and I chated with Caro and German today and we are having dinner together next week since they are moving here ^^ so we made really good friends and had so much fun ^^

May be next pic won't mean anything to you but feels my eyes with tears... and it shows a lot of what this day ment to me ...

December 25th ((Merry christmas to everyone here heart ))

Well, as you probably know (or not) owr christmas celebration is way diferent than yours. How? Well, first of all we are wearing t shirts and it is hot xd is summer here so that's a big diference... No snow, and of course going out a lot ^^
We start celebrating 24th. We have dinner with family and at 12 the sky explodes in fireworks from every house. You go and say hi to all your neighbourgs at 12 and if you have family close you go to.
We had to work till 9:30, when we were done work we went to my mom's for dinner. We had some chicken (cause here we dont have turkey) and ice cream ^^ After 12 we went to my dad's and they were having a great time there ^^ My dad made some jokes with lance (wich really impresses me since he never liked any other of my or my sister's bfs) He seams to really like Lance for some reason wich is awesome 4laugh
At about 1 we went to vk's (my best friend) and everyone was almost ready to leave. We were 17 and 3 cars. We left to Punta del Este (10 minutes drive) but it was raining... What we usually do is getting to a point where everyone gathers here for special dates ( i asume kind of the big apple has their point we have owrs blaugh ) When we got there was very desapointing ... not too many ppl was there due to the rain i guess... but it was funny anyways cause it started raining BADLY and everyone was looking for a place to be safe from the water ^^ We got under a lil roof with more ppl. They were all making jokes to each other and having fun and drinkin and stuff... When the rain stoped we went outside again and we bought some drinks and had fun with some friends around the place ^^ we have some pics from last night and here they are ^^
Please everyone understand that owr hair is a mess cause it was raining and we got wet ^^







Well today we woke up at about 3 ... I wanted to see my gifts !! My mom gave me a new shirt and Lance sandals for the beach (he needed them). I gave Lance a poster i made for him with 50 reasons to love him (a lot of them very funny), and he made for me the cuttest thing i've seen !! It might took him HOURS !! He made a cute lil heart in wood for me with a lil knife... i asked him "when did you do this babe? Im all day with you" and he sid when now you know where i was the days you woke up and i was not here beside you" crying I LOVE HIM SO MUCH !!! He's the sweetest thing !!! 4laugh heart
Oh !! MY aunt gave me a real life EMO BAG !!! It's just like it ^^ I was so happy !! ^^
But my babe's present was the best about this xmas !! ^^ He's the best !! If you are a girl and you eny me now i only have one thing to say ... I'D ENVY YOU hehehehe twisted


Well today in the afternoon we anted to buy some food with the money we had left ... we went to a big grocery store ... and i saw the gift my brother wanted. The day before he told me he wanted a nintendo. But the first nintendo, he always wanted one and he never had one cause my mom couldn't pay for one. All his friends had play stations and 64s and he never had anything ... I saw there was this offer a nintendo for 12 dollars so i just spent all the money i had on that ... the hell with the food i just want my brother to have his nintendo !! I bought it and you should've seen the look in his face when i gave it to him ! He was so happy !! And being nice always payback hey say and it must be true cause lance found some money in a jacket so we are going to be able to eat and everything !! 3nodding

January 23


Last weekend we went to an amazing party (it was suposed to be amazing but it wasnt that good ... gonk )
We paid like a fortune to get there and it was the suckness compared to last year's .
There's not too much to say ... The Party was in an isaln so we all went there in the boat ... When we got there we went to the dance floor and stuff and danced a lil bit ... it was an electronical music party ... wasnt as good as expected but we had fun ^^

March 2nd.


Im sure most of you were watching the oscars ceremony. And may be most of ou noticed that the guy who won best song in a movie went up there and just sang a lil bnit of the song thanked in spanish and went down. If you saw that and you didnt understand what was that im gonna tell you what was all that about.



Jorge Drexler was born in MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY (If you wanna know a bit more about him here's his bio)

Even though his song "Al otro lado del rio" was FIRST spanish song ever to be nominated for an academy award, he was not able to sing it.
Why? Because he's an unknown singer froma country ppl cant even pronounce. So the academy said "well yeah lets put antonio banderas and santana to sing for him, ppl is more intrested in that than the real author".
Even though Antonio Banderas was a real gentelman with Jorge, we still wonder why coulnd't he sing his song?
So what did Jorge do? He didnt get up there shaking crying and reading a paper like a real idiot, thanking everyone and trying not to forget about anyone. He got up there and sang his son a capela for the world. Because is HIS song and because HE had to sing it not Banderas. Specially cause Jorge's voice is really sweet and calm, and Banderas is some tough guy with Macho's voice blaugh
So yeah ... now you all know why that guy did that. And once again ... an uruguayan made me proud. We are so small but so big at the same time heart
