I actually don't see anything wrong with ***** unless it's done to someone younger than 13-14.
I mean, I could be 16 and fall in love with a guy who's 21 but that would be considered *****, wouldn't it? And against the law.
My brother is 21 and he's getting married with a 17 year old when she gets out of high school.
And I remember way-back-when when they used to marry off their 13-year-olds to 30-year-olds.
Besides, I'm sure the legal consenting age in Wutai might be lower considering their traditions and such.

Cid married Shera*Points to AC and DoC* I'd say she's the girl for him.
As for the age thing, I really think the important matter with age differences is maturity levels. If Yuffie were as mature as Cid, then it could be alright, but she's VERY much a 16 year old girl.
