Being pushed through the doors, Rosalind and Orlando find themselves on a balcony of a huge black and silver ballroom. In the body of the room are guests. They seem to be the people the two of them passed on the road. It is one of the events that the Guild is famous for - announced by an official banner suspended over the Ballroom. They are all dressed in strange but elegant evening wear. A party spirit prevails, they throw their arms out in a plea to Akue on the balcony.

Now, you see, Rosalind and Orlando were not sued to this type of revelry. Certainly not any to this magnitude. The sight of the partygoers in all of their various stages of drunkedness overwhelmed poor Rosalind's senses and she was overcome with a sense of giddiness. This was NOT something her waspy upbringing had prepared her for.
