Vara stared at Nanaki, then Pippin then back to Nanaki. She let out a squeak of agreement to Red XIII's suggestion of swimming. Maybe it would keep Pippin quiet. She shook her head slightly, trying to stop the blushing then darted past Nanaki and leaped into the water. Giggling, she waved at Pippin. "C'mon!"
Pippin gave the male a 'what is your problem' look and shook his head. "You're really weird...and jumpy." He walked past him and over to the water. "I don't know about this..." He dipped a paw in, then waded in. >_< This wasn't fun for him at all. He'd rather be eating a nice big meal right now. Or at least stealing something from Sam's garden.

Again, ignoring the kit's looks and comment, Nanaki silently padding towards the water, wading in. He grinned at Vara. "Still remember how to swim?" He teased, before glancing towards Pippin.
"Does your brother know how to?" Raising a brow, he watched Pippin quietly. The tip of his tail was above the water. Though he didn't have anything to fear, about the flame going out, it had become a sort of habit of his.
Ducking his head into the water, Red XIII glanced around at the bottom of the river, before resurfacing.

Vara chuckled and splashed Nanaki and giggled. "YES I know how to swim! That's not something you forget...." Vara cocked her head to the side. "...I think..." She shook her head again and shrugged. "I don't know." She didn't bother explaining that Pippin wasn't her brother, but Pippin seemed to think differently.
Pippin scoffed and snorted. "I'm not her brother. She's just..." He thought. "Well...I don't know what she is, but she's definately not my sister." He shuffled around in the water a little.

Red XIII ducked at the splashing, offering Vara a small snort and grin. "If you're sure..." Then looking from one stubborn Feli, to the other, he chuckled. "The fact that you live together, and act like siblings, technically makes you siblings. See me and my family, for instance. The human is a total and utter idiot, and the other Felis don't know left to right. Reina is probably the only sane one..."
He then paused, raising a brow. "Alimet is far from sanity."

Pippin stared at Red XIII then smiled. "You have siblings? Are they nice?" He gave him a suspicious glance. "If you have siblings then how come you were out here alone? HHHMMMM?!"
Vara sent a wave of water towards Pippin then turned back to Nanaki. "Don't mind him. And I guess you're right." She thought for a moment then shouted at Pippin. "Hey guess what! You're my little brother now." She poked her tongue out at him. "Oh yea, how is the family? My human is still as....um....weird as usual."

Turning his gaze on Pippin, he shrugged a bit. "My siblings? I suppose they're...nice." He then trailed off. Would 'nice' really be the word to describe Garland? ...Then again, he could be friendly when he wanted to be but...
What about Maleficent?
Coughing, he broke of his thoughts, and decided to also ignore Pippin's second question. Instead, turning his attention to Vara, a small chuckle left his maw. "Oh...they're alright, I suppose. Garland is pretty grumpy these days, since the temperature is getting too cold for him...Alimet is his usual self..." He didn't need to say more, as Vara knew Alimet's 'usual self'.
"Reina is well, as usual. I haven't seen her for quite a while though. And Maleficent..." Heistantly, he paused, and shifted uncomfortably. "Maleficent is...how she usually is." Red XIII wasn't quite sure how to end the sentence so...that should do.
"As for the human..." For a moment, he gave a very uncharactistic roll of his eyes. "She's just as bouncy as Alimet, if not even more..." Though being more hyper than Alimet seemed impossible.

Thelxiope loved fall, it was colourful and welcoming, the coolness of the wind made it bearable to enjoy what was unfurling around him, so that's what he was doing. Lets not fail to meantion that those who had recently departed were always the kindest when the summer had wained.
Making his way down through the forest, his feet skittered across the leaves that had fallen, in their oranges reds and sometimes, even purples like he was, his litheness barely making a sound as he made his way over them - but that did not matter, as a soulfilled sweet song danced from his vocals, a story of a maiden waiting her lifetime in a forest for a man who never appeared, due to war. It never occured to him that a sweet happy song to him was always a story of unhappiness and tears to other usually. Only in rarity did his true songs play through.
Never the less, making his way, his silver gaze was fixed forward, unknowing of any others around him.

At the mention of Maleficent, Vara's ears drooped unhappily. Even the mention of Nanaki's human didn't seem to replaced the dread Maleficent's name gave her. She shook the water of her ears then cleared her throat uneasily. "So, um..." She hesitated a little. "Good to hear the family is well." Wow. That was a dumb statement. "So if your human and Aliment had a hyper contest...they'd be equally matched? SCARY!" She giggled, still a little uneasy, but getting over it.
Meanwhile, Pippin had gotten bored of being in the water. He most definately wasn't the swimming type. He had, unoticed, made his way to the sunny edge of the clearing in order to dry off. His ears perked up at the sound of a nearing voice. "VAAARAAAA! SOMEONE IS COOOOMINGGGG!"

His own ears flattened a bit. Not from speaking Maleficent's name, no, but at the thought that both Alimet and Kaiyumi may have been equal in the hyper meter. That was...quite a disturbing thing to think, indeed. "Ugh, it's a scary thing to think..." He replied, shaking his head. Though he held a sort of disturbed tone in his voice, a kind of smirk tugged at his maw.
At Pippin's call however, the male's own ears pricked up, alert, and he too swam back onto land. Shaking himself off, he glanced around with a catious look, ears flattened back, and back arched a bit.
He was always careful. For all he knew, the sounds Pippin heard could have just been a bird or perhaps even one of his siblings but...

At the warning sound called, Thelx himself snapped out of his reveer, but couldn't help but keep singing - almost as to let whomever just yelled at the top of his or her lunges know that he was coming, and if anyone was behind him - well.. damn.
Following the sounds that came there after, he couldn't help but be more curious as he finally took to looking through the underbrush - and then eye to eye with Nanaki. If one could explain the sound that his song took - it would be something like a squeek or even the sound someone makes when they accidentally swallowed a hiccup as he backed out from the violent looking clearing and against a tree.

Vara's ears perked up. She knew that voice that was always humming or sining a sad, yet beautiful song. Thelx! She ran out of the water, dripping wet and moved towards the voice. She couldn't quite tell where it was coming from, until a familiar purple splotch appeared then dissappeared through the green shrubs. She leaped through the bushed only to be met face to face with her best friend. "Thelx!" She pulled him into a bear hug, grinning ear to ear.
Pippin took it upon himself to help "protect" Red XIII's back. But to anyone else, it looked simply like Pippin was hiding. Little did they know...they would have been right. "Wha?" He peeked around Red XIII, as Vara vanished behind the bushed. "Go save her!" Pippin 'bravely' pushed Red XIII after her.

The male blinked in sudden surprise as he came face to face with the said Feli, and watched quietly as he then backed away. Hhn...that Feli certainly didn't seem to be any threat.
He almost fell over in surprise, however, when Vara suddenly leapt into the bushes. His ears pricked a bit as he heard her speak, and cocked his head to the side. "A friend?" He murmured. Hhn...he thinks he's heard of this 'Thelx' before?
Glancing down at Pippin, he snorted a bit. "Don't worry, don't worry, I'm going." He said, though he seemed intent in nudging the kit along. Padding through the bushes, he stopped when he saw the two, and rose a brow.
"A friend?" He asked again, though this time his question was directed towards Vara, and the stranger.

Honestly, he hadn't seen Vara previously when he stuck his head out, but when the chaotic colored female thrusted herself through the brush and nearly pinned his thin - but not so frail body to the tree, his silver gaze widened and then softened up when he looked down at the head of his best and closest thing to his heart.
Patting her head, he could just feel the strength of her bearhug as he heaved out slightly and hymming a soft giggle to her. "Well, look what the forest coughed out for me, Hello Vara, how has this wonderful fall day been to thine?" he asked, in a happy trill. Having almost forgotten about the firefurred one, until he made his way back to where they were, in which the siren - unlike himself - furrowed his brow protectivelly.
This one was mean, in his eyes.

Pippin shuffled along behind Red XIII, but then relaxed after seeing what the "threat" truly was. "It's just one of Vara's friends." Pippin giggled as if he hadn't been scared. "Vara who is she?"
Vara had been rubbed her side against Thelx happily, getting her matted fur turned into a sparkly, wet mess. She looked over at Pippin and laughed. "He's not a she...He's a he. And HE is my bestest friend ever." She stepped to the side so they could get a good look at him. "His name is Thelxiope." Vara turned back to her friend. "This day is just getting better and better for me!" She grinned then pointed to the oddly dressed kit. "He's...well I guess you can call him my brother, Pippin. And that..." She pointed to Nanaki. "...Is Red XIII." She snickered then whispered. "But I always call him Nanaki." Vara, quite pleased with her introductions, sat herself down between to two males.

Seeming to either have not noticed the furrowing of Thelx's brows, or deciding to merely ignore it, Red XIII stared at the other as Vara did the introductions.
For a moment, he stood there silently, glancing over the other Feli. Though he did not look it, he was surprised himself that the stranger - or used to be stranger - before him was a female.
'This is Vara's friend.' He reminded himself, silently. 'You should at least be polite to him...' Pausing, he cleared his throat, looking at the feminine Feli before him. "Hhn. I...apologize for frightening you earlier..." He grumbled. "It's always nice to meet a friend of Vara's..."
Then, shifting a little uncomfortably, he too sat down, blinking his golden, and blind eye for a moment before turning away, still obviously feeling a little uncomfortable...though he couldn't quite put his finger on WHY.
