Definately Usagi, I like the original Japanese a WHOLE lot more then the dub. Plus I think Usagi fits her better then Serena.

if it was between the manga or anime usagi.... manga usagi.... she was a bit smarter and more elegant...
and with the anime.... I like the First voice that was Terry Macmillan(sp?)... but she had to get pregnant... that's why they had to change the voices... grrrrrrrr...

Mm, I grew up with Serena as well, but Usagi was never intended to be anyone other than Usagi, even if I was originally used to Serena.
I prefer the Japanese names because that is what Takeuchi-sama named them.

I prefer Usagi. This is probably because after watching the last series, Sailor Stars, I got so used to hearing her called Usagi (or reading it razz )
So I'd have to say that I prefer Usagi (rabbit)

both are good. Usagi means rabbit which connects to the story of the Rabbit pounding Mochi on the moon.
The story goes that the Rabbit, the fox, the monkey and squirrel *I thinkt here was a squirel* Came across a straving old man. To feed him, the other animals *except the rabbit.* fetched a bit of food for him.
But the rabbit, having done nothing felt bad for not being able to help offered itself to the man.
With that the rabbit jumps into the fire giving it's s ultimate sarifice to save another- it's very life.
the Moon God felt in awe by the creature's sacrifice that he goes down and takes the Rabbit's spirit away to the moon to live eteneraly in peace. The rabbit makes Mochi in the craters of the moon *Believes that to be a type of medical.*
That's the gist of the story behind Usagi.
Serena is fine as it's another varitation of her past life name, Serenity.

I call all of them by their Japanese names. The whole 'Americanization' thing bothers me to no end. I could rant for hours, but I don't feel like it today xD
