Tellah Amna Achan Marjorly's song holds a special place in my heart. *snicker* Marjoly herself holds a special place in my heart, along with her henchwomen heart Heck, I'd like to get her as a bonus character, but I have a snowball's chance of that sweatdrop She appears as a hidden boss in Disgaea. ^^ But, be warned now: it's a hella tough battle! eek And, from what I've seen here, it seems that I must track down this Rhapsody now ... whee

I have a hard enough clearing some of the early bonus maps xp Oh, one of Marjoly's henchwomen shows up as a bonus battle in Phantom Brave too... If you don't know Rhapsody, I think her name is on one of the items Marjoly comes equipped with. At least so I've heard. sweatdrop Just be warned that Rhapsody is kinda old... and a Playstation 1 game, so it might be hard to find. sweatdrop Oh yeah, another tie to Disgaea/La Pucille and Rhapsody... Rosenqueen corporation. You actually get to go to that town in Rhapsody 3nodding

Etoile's family is actually Rosenqueen. ^_^
Good luck with the finding and the hey hey hey. I've heard horror stories of the game being over $100 on eBay, though people apparently still find it in bargain bins and such.

I've seen it going for over $50, sure, but only heard about higher. (Nowhere near the $300+ Suikoden 2 scare last Xmas, but there you go.)
I'm glad I still have my copy! I wonder if I'll get to go back in that game and work on my monster collection....as to cameos, still have two of Marjoly's henchmen to go.

But I never remember how to spell her name offhand. Isn't her name in one of the gun weapons or something too in Disgaea? I can't comment there (even though technically I am blaugh ), because I was one of those wacky people who bought it the day it came out sweatdrop I'm pretty sure I saw it at least used for a decent price... somewhere... sometime... I'm as helpful as a rock whee

About the gun.. I'm not sure. Though I wouldn't doubt it. ^_^;;
I'm also one of the ones who bought it around the time it came out. I didn't even know it was coming out. The cover was the thing that intrigued me. Asked to give it a try (Gamestop), got through the first song, and immediately bought it.
My friends laughed at me. Hmph.

I'd actually read about it on the web and saw some screenshots... Then I think the official site had some song clips... Just had to get it. xd Atlus releases some great little quirky games.

Yes, Etoile is the name of the strongest (Rank 40) gun. Side note: Cornet's last name is also the name of Disgaea's (Phantom Brave's?) status-effect removing spell, Espoir. (I think the spelling's right.)
Atlus indeed makes many memorable games.

I think I may have mentioned this before, but a party member in La Pucille is strongly hinted at being a decendant of Cornet and Ferdinand whee

I still have to finish La Pucelle. >.< Ack, you know I'd managed to block out those identical rooms from my mind until right now xd It doesn't help that I get lost easily. It's not really that late in the game when you meet the guy, I think... It's Homard, the pirate captain guy who is supposed to be a decendant. Supposedly there's more hints if you know the games which we never got here (his real name is supposedly something someone was going to name their kid at the end of one of those games)... But there's already the fact that he hangs around with a fairy, has those little kitties all around him, and his airship runs on the same stuff that's rather important in Rhapsody... inotium? Something like that. Also *SPOILER, highlight to read* in the end he's revealed to be a prince. *END SPOILER* I think it's pretty clear what he was meant to be xd Which I find pretty darn cool.

Well in Rhapsody 2 (Marl Kingdom 2:Little Princess) you play as Cornets Daughter named Kururu who is out to find her how man of her dreams. I have yet to beat it since I am still studying kanji but yeah Homard fits the profile. He pulls the whole I need a princess like Cornet found a prince. Also Papillion (spelling) looks too much like Kururu. *Picture Homard singing: I know that you're out there and Im waiting for you.

I meant to imply he's the son produced from one of the pairings in one of the sequels to Rhapsody. He doesn't actually get game time himself... clear as mud, no? sweatdrop
