My boyfriend and i got checked for STD's and we're both clean. We still haven't had sex yet though

ryoman976 thelovelyLIZ My psychology teacher told us about a patient she had worked with. Her husband had contracted herpes (I believe) when he went and cheated on her and then passed it to her. The herpes basically travelled up her spine into her brain and damaged the part of your brain where the memory is converted from short to long term (I think it could have been her hippocampal region, but don't quote me on that). Basically, because her husband cheated on her, she can't commit anything new to memory, kinda like that moive 50 First Dates. Anyway, STDs = suckage and that's basically why you shold be catious when having sex. Atleast she isn't 6 second Tom (Or whatever his name is). I guess, but I mean, she can't really rememebr anything. And in a lot of ways, 6 Second Tom isn't really... right... it's kinda overplayed int he movie but she's kinda like a less severe version of that. But she did forget thigns within a day, so it still sucks.

I feel it's the individual's fault if they get STDs =. They should always use protection when they're having sex, and if they choose to not have safe sex, then both parties should check if they have any STDs before having sex.
I don't know anyone who has STDs. xD.

Well if you think about it that way clip, then all the topics here should go there. Virtually everything has the potential to cause debating and discussion 3nodding . Well if you think about it that way clip, then all the topics here should go there. Virtually everything has the potential to cause debating and discussion 3nodding . We are discussing right now aren't we wink ? but.. all the other topics had info, rather than a question... but.. i guess your'e right.. or.. if i'm right.. you better start moving those threads xp

It's worth helping this place and you guys though 3nodding

As much as I'd like to say "I AM a mod", I won't. I agree we got a bit off-topic, but atleast the guild is growing from it; I fail to see how we're disobeying the rules. Tell me if you find anything in here that I violated: Blood`Eternity Do not post threads with random material, the point of this guild is to learn and memorize more, when someone is sifting through the information they dont want to find a thread were someone says "ChIckeN ScraTch", and thats all with a poll with no options, so please, if you are to lazy to go find something to teach everyone then just find a list of facts and post them if you would like. Also note that this rule applies to the thread titles as well, make all thread titles relate to the information contained in the thread to help people decide if they want to read what is in there.

Who cares if the community/guild is growing if people are just going to get side tracked with the topics that are up for discussion. It sort of takes away from the knowledge part of this forum.
Also, it may not state exactly, but if you look at it you'll see that the rules clearly state do not post a thread that has nothing to it. I'm guessing that also means don't post in threads if you have no information regarding that topic.
Remember this isn't chatterbox.
