Ina certainly was a chipper girl, Avani thought, following behind the Fire Nation girl with a bit more composure.
"So where are we going" She called up to Ina.

The firey girl beamed,
"It's a secret," she said, turning and putting a finger to her lips in a sort of shushing motion,
"But! I told you as much as I will. It's a cave. It's beautiful. It's just over here..." she started climbing over a few rocks along the edge of the water,
"We'll have to be careful, though. The tide comes in pretty soon."

Avani made a whining noise behind Ina. She didn't liiiiike secrets. Especially when they involved her going in strange dangerous places.
She scrambled over the rocks, following the girl carfully. "Why does it matter if the tide is comming in." She looked at the water. She had never really learned to swim...

Ina smiled,
"Well, if the tide comes in, it might grab you and take you out to see. Or fill up the cave. It's only a little cave, afterall."
She navigated the rocks expertly-- she visited this area every time she was in port here,
"Be careful, though, the rocks get slippery here."

That's what she had been worried about.
"We're going into a cave that can fill up. DURING tide?"
She was obviously not traveling with the brightest cookie here.

Ina grinned,
"That's half the fun! The danger~! But don't worry. I know it pretty well now. I'm sure we won't get caught in it."
She hopped down, pointing off a short distance away where the cave could be seen,
"It's just there. It's really pretty, I promise."

Avani wasn't sure how much 'fun' danger was. She certainly didn't do dangerous things to get a kick out of it.
The Earth Kingdom girl jumped down beside Ina, taking a deep breath to quiet her gasping lungs. She wasn't particularly out of shape, but all her excersise happened on nice hard surfaces, not rocks and sand. That took more effort to navigate.
"Ok, ok, lets go then," she said impatiently. It was getting later and she didn't want her father questioning her when she came home with sandy feet and wet robe hems.

Ina waved the other girl towards the cave, careful not to step in a few larger puddles of water. The girl hopped over a rock, and into the cave She smiled, spinning around in a circle with her arms out,
"Isn't it beautiful?"
The walls of the cave were....well, sparkly. They shone and glimmered as though a million starry nights were stored in them.

Avani walked around the cave, her small mouth making a little O and she looked up as she walked.
"What does it?" she asked, head still bent up.

Ina shrugged,
"I don't know, really. Maybe we should ask about in town! I bet there's an amazing story there!"
Maybe it was gold or something! They could be rich! Why hadn't she ever thought of that before? She'd just thought it was pretty,
"I never thought about it before."

The little girl shook her head. "Oh...no, we shouldn't bother them," she said quickly. "I don't think they'd care anyway, and I doubt any of them would know."
It was probably best for Ina to keep it her little secret and enjoy her time when she came to Ba Sing Se and not have the gossipy town folk ruin it.

Ina beamed,
"But maybe they would! There could be an amazing story behind it! Besides, what if it's like, gold? We could be rich!"
She peered at the rocks as though they would answer her questions, even though she knew they wouldn't. If she knew more about rocks, maybe she'd be able to tell herself, but as it was, they just looked like sparkly rocks.

Avani shrugged. "Maybe they would." She smiled. "I think if they were of any vaule, they would have been found by now, it's not like they're hidden that much.
She tilted her head at Ina. "Why are you so excited for stories?"

"Well, that's true," Ina considered the others' words, "There could still be stories about it, though. That'd be neat."
She tilted her head thoughtfully, hopping from rock-to-rock as she made her way out of the cave,
"Better get out before the water gets high. Well, really, aren't stories interesting? You learn so much about the world through listening."

Avani kept the hem of her robes at her knees as she skipped lightly behind Ina. "But why just stories? You can learn just as much from listening to things besides stories."
