A second rush of wind hit Kat in the face, followed by a rush of shrapnel. Lifting her hand to deflect the smaller bits from her face, she noticed a large chunk of an engine flying at her. "s**t," She swore, forgetting that she was supposed to be hiding. She quickly jumped from the lamppost, grabbing the top as she fell past to hang below it. A second later, the twisted piece of metal flew over head, and she quickly swung back on top. Smaller bits of shrapnel scratched up her legs and arms, and she resumed her crouch atop the lamppost, inspecting a tear in her stockings with a small, bleeding cut below it. "That's gonna run..." She thought to herself, more concerned for the state of her stockings than her legs. Diverting her attention from her ripped clothes, she quickly scanned the scene for the opponents. Crim was out of sight. As was PrettyKitty. "Stupid kitten like got itself killed," She thought, slightly bitter. She scanned the scene for the cause of the explosion, intent on a well-placed bullet in the back, before realizing she'd dropped her gun when evading the projectile. She spotted it below her, sitting directly in the light of the lamp. Scowling, she drew a second magnum from her bra, thinking about how out of practice she was at sneaking, and resumed looking for Delve.

In Crim's arms, PrettyKitty happily purred and rubbed her head against his arm before driving her sharp, pointed teeth into his flesh, still happily purring. Grateful as she was to be rescued and held, a year living with Kat and MiniKitty will do that to a kitten.

Crim` dropped the kitten, raising a brow. "Damn cat." He examined his arm, it didn't draw blood due to the toughness of the jacket's material.

He would sneak off, moving behind cover, his knife kept closed to the 'vest'. He grinned, noticing Delve. Still behind cover, he sheathed his blade and raised his right hand at his side. The green gem on the ring around his right middle finger began to glow. "Tsk tsk, so focused on her he forgot about me."

Using the power of the Earth ring, Crim` would cause the ground beneath the lamposts the two were perched atop to shift, causing the posts to become unearthed and subsequently causing them to topple. But it didn't end there, Crim`, being the deviant he was, made the earth shift in such a way that the posts would fall in the direction of the flaming ball of wreckage he himself had so narrowly avoided earlier.

Silence.

Mori poked her head out of the box car she had been sleeping in. Maybe the brats were finished wrecking her trains. Well, technically they weren't her trains but they were her sleeping spot for the night and she didn't appreciate them being blown up.

Just as she started to get out of the train to look around, she heard a groaning sound and turned her head just in time to see someone jump off a falling lamp post.

"Aw, damn. Guess I'm not alone after all." She popped back into her car and started rummaging through her bag anything useful she might have packed.

Flames...

Crim` shrugged, his hands up at his sides and his head tilted a bit. "Okay so... Is it hot in here or is it just me?" he asked. He definitely knew how terribly corny this joke was but he couldn't resist. He grinned, clenching his fist and causing the earth around them to rise, the ground rising and putting out the flames. He'd then snap his finger and the wall of earth would crumble around them, when he would emerge from the crumbling dust and dash at Delve, throwing himself into the air and holding his knife above his head with two hands.

A maniacal grin was upon his face. Like Alucard from Hellsing.

But then, just as he noticed, Delve was gone. He went through what seemed to be an afterimage of him.

"Damn, he got away."

"Curiousity is what led me here too." Kat remarked to CV. The glint of Crim's lighter caught her eye, and she took a step back to better watch the both of them suspiciously. "So what are your intentions now that you're here?" She asked CV distrustingly.
