"Mmm?" Kabichi blinked before taking the seer's advice, reluctantly letting Legeti down. The pup promptly trotted at her side, ears swivelling.
"Is it very far?" The pup asked, curiously.

Usu kept on walking, turning his head back occassionally to make sure the two were still following the older predator. Usu was already walking at a rather slow pace.
"A little bit further. Just over the hill will get us into the Pride lands. And from there will be a water hole for you two to get a drink, you two must be thirsty."
The wolf spoke, keeping his eyes forward on the path he was following.

Kabichi nodded, the two younger ones plodding after calmly. Where there was water, there was animals, possibly even food. Who knew?
Then again, there was alot the two didn't know. The mind boggled.

Usu smiled and continued on. At the top of the said hill, he stopped and looked over the Savannah that was the Pride Lands. This was his home. It was still light out so there are sure to be some others around here...somewhere.
"Follow me to the water hole."
He said as he continued to press forward to the place he spoke of. Unfortunately...he would have to leave them shortly after. He would love to stay with the two, but...he cannot. He has a mate to go back to, he cannot have these two tag along. There has to be someone out there for them. If not, the Pride Lands were safe for them to wander about.

Both cub and pup nodded, maintaining their paces behind him as they walked. Water hole, that meant water, possibly food. It worked for them both--as they wandered, they could drink, atleast, if they knew where water was.

Usu moved the grass aside for the two to get into the clearing. The water was clear and not many other animals were there for their drinks. Left little competition.
"Come on, little ones, the water hole's waiting."
He spoke with a smile. He turned his head so they could not see his frown. Soon he would have to leave them....he could not take care of them, his eyes were already keeping themselves on many others to watch over these two.

Legeti bounded for the watering hole rapidly, Kabichi trailing behind.
"Yay!" The pup cheered. Kabichi stopped, smiling at the seer.
"Thank you."
And she thus trotted for the water herself, both of them taking thirsty gulps.

Usu waited a bit for the two to finish before telling them. They were so vulnerable...but he could not keep them. He could just watch over them from time to time...
"Legeti...Kabichi....I have to go now. Do you think you two will be safe by yourselves?"
He asked with a bit of worry in his voice. His ears fell back a bit worried himself that what he was doing was wrong and unresponsible. But he could not keep these two, it was obvious.

Kabichi looked up, ears swivelling to listen to the older male before nodding a little.
"I think so.."
She actually wasn't convinced by her own size, but hey, she could try! Legeti blinked, looking up.
"You'll meet us again, right, mister?"

"Good, I am sure that if you two stick together, you two will be safe. Make sure you watch each other's backs and share the food you do manage to get."
Usu smiled and licked each of the heads as he got up.
"Legeti, you are the strong one. Please take care of Kabichi. And I will be sure to meet you two again when the time comes. I wish you luck on finding that family that will care for you."

Both of them giggled at the attention, and both sets of ears listened to their elder respectfully.
Stay together... That much, they knew was easy. The second, they didn't understand so well. Such was youth, really.
"I will!"
Legeti beamed anyway, trying to be as strong as possible.. Atleast looking so. Kabichi simply giggled.

Usu nodded, licked both again and smiled softly.
"I am sure you two will live nice lives together. Never leave the other's side, they will need you. I am sure that here would be the safest place to be unless you can find an empty den around that you could seek shelter in. I wish you both luck and safety."
He nuzzled Legeti and slipped into the tall grass, his tail swinging behind him. He knew they would be okay. Kabichi had Legeti and Legeti had her, a maned wolf and a lioness, they were fine. If anything someone would very much need them more than they would them.
"Good-bye you two, take care."
He called from the grass as the blades moved as he did, until he could be seen, smelt, or heard no more.
The red lion cub lazily wandered into the water hole, his mother let him go this time, lately she has been letting him go much more often than usual. Strange how she suddenly changes from one personality to the other in a instant...or was it gradual and he simply did not notice. The demi-god sat beside the water, taking his fill, when he saw the female cub with a little pup...thing. Strange, who were they? Curious, he sought out answers.
Sitting a good distance from, "Hello there, how are ya?"
He called out from across teh water hole. He could not get too close. It would be bad for him and them, mostly them.

Kabichi's ears pricked, and she looked over, trying to catch his scent. He looked like a boy, but not like any grown up. Was he her age? She tilted her head, then smiled.
"We're well, and yourself?"
Legeti also peeked out. Oooohhh, would he play?! And the maned wolf pup tried to get over by jumping in the water, an act that proved to startle the pup into half swimming, half scrabbling back to shore. He was all WET! OMG.

"I am the same!" he called back across the water. He was keeping his distance, he did not wish to get too close to them. It was not out of cautiousness, but for their own safety...private safety.
"Legeti, be careful of the water, you're gonna get wet."
He called back. Again? How did he know his name before actually meeting them? It was his powers again...he needed to get a rein on them or he will soon lose it again and have his random spurts.
"My name's Yadumugandama. Dumu please!"
He called back across the water.

Legeti blinked, tilting his head the other way. How did he know his name? Interesting! Very interesting!
"My name is Kabichi!" The cub smiled happily. "Are you from around here?"
