Oh so then Aeris was the daughter of a general just like Rinoa? Yeah right. And Tifa was cheerful and optimistic just like Rinoa, it also says so right in Tifa's official character bio in the game manual. The only reason you think Rinoa more like Aeris is because you pegged Tifa in your mind to be this huge emo.



What the hell is this rightful heiress to the planet s**t. Aeris is not an heiress of anything, and she was never once referred to as princess in the entire game. In fact the only thing you got right in this sentence was that Aeris was the last of her race. So again no resemblance.



First of all Tifa has flirted with Cloud on a few occasions. Like that time under the highwind and that look she gave Cloud at the end of AC. Both Rinoa and Tifa give Cloud and Squall the same looks through the whole game. Rinoa and Tifa have the same soft spoken way about them and they both give the same expressions to both Cloud and Squall.

And here's more food for thought.

If you compare FF7 & FF8, there are glaring and undeniable similarities between Cloud & Squall and Tifa & Rinoa. As Nomura created Cloud to be an idealistic version of himself, so did he create Squall. Squall at the start was far too similar to Cloud, and Yoshinori Kitase (director) had Squall changed further. Nomura created Tifa to be his ideal woman for Cloud, much in the same way he created Rinoa's design and dialogue to be ideal for Squall. Both Tifa and Rinoa were designed based on Nomura's personal preferences, as a result of his self-insertion.

Nomura also has a penchant for long-haired women. When he first applied to join Squaresoft, he had to have an interview and show some of his artwork. All of the pieces he brought depicted busty long-haired women (like Tifa), and staff members even jokingly asked him if that's all he likes! Furthermore, he has stated on numerous occasions that his favorite designs are Rinoa (who Nomura has dictated Tifa look more like in Advent Children) and Kaldea (from The Bouncer, who is similar to Tifa in facial features and physique).

How do you know they didn't. Maybe SE did create Aeris to be selfish or maybe they didn't. But do you know for sure? No. Also What else would you call a person that doesn't have or show any other emotion except for happiness. The women is never sad, never scared, and never mad; She's nothing but happy all the time. That's not normal human behavior. Also she's not nice to anyone exept for Cloud, Marleen, and Cait Sith. She was rude to Barrit and Tifa (I wont even bother to go depper into that) and as for Vincent, Yuffie, and Red 13 she didn't even talk to them.



Actually there is. I have lots of proof of her making stupid decisions through the whole game and I would post it here too but I don't think strabaryicecream or the other mods would like that very much.



But I at least have proof for my views. I can bring in actual quotes from the game to prove my opinions. Where is your proof for your dislike of Tifa? All you have said was that she's emo and boring. Well, why do you think that way? Where is the proof to your opinion? And also don't tell me to shut it. I don't have to listen to some kid that still goes to high school. Aerith may be associated with flowers as SquallxRinoa had their promise in a flower field, but Cloud made a promise with Tifa under the stars. There may be comparisons, but that doesn't prove if Tifa and Cloud go together or likewise, Cloud and Aeris. Just leaving that out. wink

Just because Tifa wasn't intended to be one of the first characters doesn't mean that she's any less relevant or incompatible with Cloud. Aerith got the spotlight because she was a bit aggressive. (Not in a bad way mind you.) Tifa is just as important, even if she didn't contribute much in the first part of the game.

First of all you have stated that Tifa was emo once before. I said that I liked Tifa and Vincent together and you said they would both die from emoness. And second it was Tifa's optimism and strength that made her have such faith in Cloud and stick by him through all the bad things they had to go through. She never once faltered when Cloud or someone else need her through out the whole game. In fact through the whole game Tifa was a rock. She was strong for Cloud when he couldn't be strong for himself. Not emotionally strong? Please. Introvert doesn’t equal pessimist.



Why would I want to listen to a song that knocks Tifa down. That would be like me asking you to listen to "Stupid Girl by Pink." Because that's how I feel about Aeris.





So because she's the last of her kind that makes her a princess/heiress? That doesn’t make any sense.





Just because Tifa didn't hang all over Cloud like Aeris, doesn’t mean that she's not flirting. Their are many different dimensions of flirting. Aeris's flirting was extreme while Tifa's flirting was soft and sutle.





Squall was hired to be Rinoa's body guard and he agreed to it not to mention that he agreed to be her body guard through the whole game.
Cloud was only hired to be Aeris's bodyguard to get her to her house not to mention that Cloud never said yes



Why was this even written. Were discussing the similarities between Rinoa and Tifa not Cloud and Squall



Oh please Cloud had a few nice conversations with Aeris but he also had some nice conversations with Tifa too. He never really opened up to Aeirs, Tifa, or anyone until after Aeris died because the guy was a very psychologically messed up. He couldn't open up to anyone because he didn't even know who he was.



Fiest of all Cloud would have said the exact same thing if Tifa or Yuffie had died insted of Aeris. That's just the kind of guy Cloud is. And just so you know both Squall and Cloud's speaches don't sound all that similer.



Aeris is represented by flowers while Rinoe is represented by fathers due to the feather she's catches in her hand in the beginning, and the wings on her back. Squall and Renoa made a promises in the flower fields while Cloud and Aeris never made a promises to each other at all. Oh but Cloud and Tifa made a proems to each other didn't they. Also since you want to talk about representations Rinoa is represented by the color blue and Tifa is often represented by the color blue because of her outfit when she was a child. Aeris is represented by pink and Quitis is represented by pink.

About the ending of AC. Cloud was going to Midgar and happened to pass a flower field while getting there. I mean the guy was on a delivery, dose it really sound logical that he stopped to romp around in the flowers? No. Also I didn't see Cloud stop his bike to go into the flower fields. I didn't see him looking at Aeris or talking to her in the flower feilds. Like I said he merely passed them by on his way to Midgar not to mention that he was going home to Tifa and the kids after his delivery was done.





Cloud and Aeris were the intended couple before SE hired Nomura to be their new artist. SE couldn’t use Amanos character artwork to put into 3D so they hired Nomura who's artwork was manga style and easy to render into 3D. Then he went to the story writers with the idea of killing of Aeris and not making her relievable, so as to add drama and a sense of life and death to the game. Along with that idea came the idea of adding Tifa, Red 13, Vincent, Yuffie, Cid, and Cait Sith. If you don't believe me then read up on the history of making FF7. I don't even have to give you a website sine all you have to do is a search on Google.





Yuna has the dark haired Aisin look just like Tifa and she is shy and introverted just like Tifa is. I'm guessing he had to make her a little different from Tifa, Rinoa, and Garnet, since that's three heroines that look almost exactly the same.



Oh and Aeris having a flat cheats, huge hips and, antenna bangs makes her look normal? And how are Tifa's big boobs a deformity when women in real life have boobs that are just as big? I don't however see any real people with bangs and hair like Aeris's. So I guess he could have been talking about Aeris too?





Fine she actually shows real emotion twice in the whole game. Wow. Oh I see that Aeris only shows emotion when s**t happens to her but when something bad happens to someone else she doesn’t feel bad at all.



The women has been running from Shinra since she was a child, if she was so in fear for her life then she would have tried to hire a body guard years ago. It seems clear to me that she only wanted HIM as a body guard because she wanted a date from the guy that reminded her of her dead boyfriend.



OMG Cloud confers her only once so it must be true love! Cloud has comforted Tifa a lot more times then just once and Tifa dose the same for Cloud thru out the whole game.





First of all Lucrecia is one big stupid mistake in my opinion. Second Aeris seems to make more stupid decisions then everyone else in the game like going through the trouble of hiring a body guard and then running of to the city of the Ancients by herself while Shinra and Sephiroth are after her. I could go on but I'll leave it at this



I just gave you proof in my last statement. And I could give you more if I wanted to.





So you’re saying that you don't brace your opinion of Character actions and dialog in the game? So you think Tifa is boring just because? Without any dialog or character actions to back up why you would come to such a conclusion?

Just about every FF7 main character, good and evil, are sexy.
Well, except Azul, Cait Sith, Hojo, Jenova, Barret, Rude, Marlene, Denzel. The last two is because they're children and I don't want to sound like a *****, and I can't say Rude or Barret is sexy because I never liked to thing of super muscley people as sexy...
Anyway, onto the extremely long rant on the list of characters. Now NOTE, I will be in pervert mode almost this entire rant:

Cloud: What can I say about him that hasn't already been said? He's got a nice pair of shiny mako blue eyes, some damn cool hair, and a nice figure. The thing I like most about him, however, is that he was sexy as both a man AND a woman.

Tifa: Ah... The first thing that comes to mind when I think of sexy is Tifa. She's got large breasts, looking like a 36D in FF to a 24C in AC, but still pretty large. She's also got some well defined muscles from training, so she's got a mix of an athletic/buxom body. Her hazel eyes and smile really add to her facial features, but the most eye catching thing apart from her bust has got to be her hair. I don't know about anyone else, but I got a thing for long hair.

Sephiroth: The first thing that comes to mind with him would have to be his silver hair. I said above the I liked long hair, and this guy is in the top four for best hair at 4th, Tifa being third. I'll say 2 and 1 later, this is about Sephiroth. Apart from his hair, he's got a well-defined chest which is always showing, that little exhibitionist. Heheh...
But, anyone else notice his clothing? Leather gloves, boots, shoes, and jacket, metal cuff links and shoulder pads, and belt/bonds on his chest. I don't know about anyone else, but that outfit just YELLS BDSM to me... Anyone not know what that is, NEVER search it.

Aeris: Aw, the first that came to mind was the fact that she can be so innocent, yet so sultry. What I mean is, artists can depict her as either a cute young girl, or a matured and sexy lady. I like that, how she can be childish but mature at the same time, and she seems so much like a Filipina its unbearable to me!
As said before, I like long hair, and she comes in second on that list. It's just a nice long, thick braid, showing patience, intelligence, and sincerity. Patience, because it would take DAMN long to do that, even with help. Intelligence, because that's mostly the type of hair a straight laced girl would have. Sincerity, I dunno, just looks angelic with that kind of hair.

Vincent Valentine: First thing that came to mind, Emo goth. Seriously, I don't really mean that, but it's the first thing that came to mind. Now, he comes in second place in the hair department. His hair, however, is only the second best thing about him. He not only came in second in the hair catagory, but first in the butt department. Yeah, I went there...
I mean, come on! In FF7, FF:AC, and FF7 biggrin OC, they zoom in on his butt, which is tightly wrapped against his leather pants. That is a tight butt. Anyone call me gay, I'll sock you... I'm Bi...

Yuffie: First thing that comes to mind, teenager. She's the youngest lady in Avalanche, and thusly hasn't matured as much as either Tifa or Aeris. However, What she lacks up "there" she makes up for with a long and lanky body. Some people don't really like that, but I myself like that look of a teenaged asian girl. What I'm talking about is a small breast line, about A-B, but a long, lanky, and athletic style body. I also like her tomboy-ish short hair, which is a bit hypocritcal to my last statement, but she really pulls off the look. Her butt isn't half bad, either.

Simple side note, I like long hair because that's the hair you can run hair hands through and practically sleep in. The short hair is the kind of hair that you can pat, yet breathe into a deeper scent.... Pervert be I, but I have my soft and emotional times more than my perverted outbursts... Moving on!

Reno: The first things to come to mind are the red hair, the attitude, the playboy-ness. If he could settle down with one girl, he'd be one hell of a ride to be with, you know? You don't see much of his body in the game or the movie, so I can't really say anything more than that.

Elena: The first thing to come to mind is that she is the token blonde of the game. She IS a bit ditzy, but she is far from stupid. I like her hair style, hell, I like it even on Samus Aran (I've seen a picture of Samus with Elena's hair), and I like her childish tendancys and naivety, yet her intelligence in what she does. I also like her voice actor, despite only saying one or two lines in the movie, I just love that voice actor...

Tseng: I'll go right ahead, the only thing I can say about him are his facial features, his hair, and his suave. Just really tired with this rant right about now...

First of all 'yuuyami suicide' this argument was done a while ago so you talking about it again is only instigating it further. Not to mention that you come in here telling us not to argue but all your doing is taking pink's side and creating another argument. That's called being a hypocrite. And lastly learn how to spell my user name properly damn it! I at least give you the respect of writing your user name correctly!

True I could have been nicer but hypicritical people really piss me off and I think misspelling someones user name especially when it's right there is very disrespectful. It makes me think that he was just too lazy to look at my name and spell it properly. Also he was mostly sticking up for pink. The only quotes he points out are mine and the few times that he dose say something about pink, he goes on by trying to justify what she said. I don't see him doing the same for me. It seems like the obvious case of Claeris sticking together. *Sigh* However I will try to be nicer in the future.
