Also make sure your gun is ON or Live not Safe..Make sure your hopper is on becuase you could of had a nice shoot at another player. If your marker has Eyes,Ace,Ect. make sure they are ON...Chopping is a terrible thing to do...Everytime you chop a paintball God kills a kitty..

Make shure that all of you pods are turned so that the lip on their lids are facing you body, so that when you pull down the strap on your pack to get a pod, you don't open the pod and spill your paint.

Don't use a non-tinted clear hopper, if you break a ball on the inside of the hopper it will look as if you got hit.

If you own PMI Black Maxx and want to play with it for whatever reason, hold your thumb over the velocity adjust knob on the back of the gun while fireing, it will allow you to shoot 2-3bps faster.

Fire in bursts, you can shoot faster, be more accurate, and conserve ammo.

If you play as a frontman (or any position), choose your first bunker and choose a secondary bunker to bump up to. I see alot of newbs who'll play front and hole up in their first bunker only to find themselves "G" sometime later in the game. Also, if yu say that you are playing front, don't be afraid of getting hit and getting called out. That is your job. Just make sure you take out at least one of your opponents first (Bob Long's quote). Let the Mids mop up the stragglers later.

Here is a tip or 2 about getting more bounce..If you have a jersy, when you put on your pack strap put it under your jersy to cuase more bounce..(Note:This is illegal in most tournaments.)

I wear my shoes kinda lose, becuase I think that it cuases less bounce and I've cought acouple balls in my shoe..(Note: This is not proven and losening your uses could cuase you to hurt your ankles during running. I will not take responsibility for any injuries.

When running to your bunker off brake, try to shield your mask with your hand like a visor..Becuase a ball is more liekly to brake on your lens then your hand..

Wear alot of head protection..Not just so you don't get a headache..Personally I wear a head band,big 3" tall sweatband and a Dye Trooper Beanie..And I play mid/back..

Using other thin light layers of clothing helps..I know a kid from Jax Warriors who wears like 2 t-shirts under his jersy..He uses alot of pads on his arms and legs area..I'm surprised the boy don't pass out becuase of the heat in Florida..

Never look over the top of a bunker. Always look out of the sides. This move makes you less visible to any opponents who might be trying to see if there's anyone left on the field. I've played many games where I've eliminated alot of players because they didn't know where I was. They kept thinking that I would look over the top of my bunker to see them.

And if you are wondering how to see without looking over the top, just listen to your teammates. They'll tell you where they are. twisted

When shooting at a person who is trying to get to their next bunker, resist the urge to shoot at the person. Always look for the bunker that they plan on sliding into and shoot for the edge of the bunker that they will be entering in. This is called "leading the shot". I can garauntee to all players that you always get a "G".

don't get cocky in a game (this happen to me) i was playing against a bunch of pro's on my first day of paintball and start playing with these dudes 17-25 i'm like 13. 5v6 we had 6 people while they had five. and we started playin and in like 5 min of the game i already lost 3 of my menafter 5 more min i was alone. then i got scared in nervous but amazingly i shot em down until it was 2v1 i was focused on one guy and i was calling him out "saying look my first day and i already took out 3 of ur men come out ur a pro loosing to a rookie" but then i got laid out wit balls dude was a decoy!!!i came in with a black shirt camo pants black shoes came out like a damn rainbow!!. moral of story Never get cocky and take da shot if you can

If your running co2 at a big game and a ref wants to chrono you, just hold your marker strait up for a minute or two and your velocity will lower. It works faster and better if you can fire a few into the air right befor he chronos you.

Adversly, if you leave your marker in the sun, pointed down, or huggclose in to your body will make you shoot "hot" or above what you seat it for.

I use regulated co2 and I set my psi at 750. I left my gun in the sun for a few minutes while I was garding a flag durring a huge scenario game. my psi raised to almost 1100. My first few shots were way fast but then leveled out at what my speed and psi were originally set at.

if your are running off CO2, its probably a good idea to have an expansion chamber of some sorts
