Lisha looked a little dissapointed, but nodded, "Ok." she said and started eating. She ate a surprising amount for how small the girl was...

Karen took her time eating. She didn't feel like tossing and turning with a stomach ache. When she finally finished, she noticed Lisha already standing and bouncing around, her plate completely empty.

Lisha grinned when she saw that Karen had finneshed, "Now will you tell me? Huh huhuhuhuh??" she had consumed quite a lot of sugar and was more hyper and full of questions than before.

"Alright, alright. I'll tell you on the way," Karen lead the way through the great hall. She stopped only once to inquire of the pass word to get in to Gryffindor tower.
"Ok, this way," Karen said when they left the great hall. Everybody else was still eating. That made things better for Karen. She didn't like talking loud.

Lisha bounced as they walked, her bright eyes wide as she took in all the armor and moving paintings allong the way, "Why do the pictures move like that? What was that strange sound? What would happen if..." she rattled off seemingly endless questions in one breath.

Karen stopped in the middle of the hallway causing Lisha to run into her
"Alright I'll start from the beginning," Karen said impatiently. "You're lucky to have somebody to tell you. In my first year I had to figure everything out on my own."
"The pictures move because of magic. That sound is most likely caused by magic. House elves look like elves but not too pretty. Yes, they like to cook," Karen paused for a bit. "The way we get into our common room is though a protrait, which is opened by the pass word. Yes the suites of armor can come alive. Watch out for Mrs. Norris, the caretaker's cat. Infact, watch out for the caretaker too. Never bother the potions master. You can't go to Hogsmead until you are in third year. You can't play Quidditch until you are in your second year. I'm not going to explain Quidditch right now because it would take too long." Karen took a deep breath. "Ok, any more questions before we continue?"

For once, it seemed that Lisha had ran out of questions, then out of the blue, "what year are you?" was the first of a long stream of questions.

"OOooo so have you been to Hogsmead? What's it like there? I've never been in a community that was made of just Witches and Wizards! Was there lots of magic going on all around you? How do you do magic?" the questions tumbled from her lips. She finally paused to take a breath.

"I've been once so I could buy some sweets. That's it. Besides, haven't you been to Diagon Alley?" Karen asked.

"Not really... I mean I went to the one pub place, but my mama made me stay with dad. She said I could use her old wand and her old supplies and books. But she went in and got everything else she didn't already have." Now that Lisha had mentioned it, the robes that she was wearing were a size or more too big for her.

"Second hand supplise? I've got that too. Nobody really spends money on me because," Karen trailed off. "Anyway, let's hurry to the common room. You haven't seen it yet."

Lisha tilted her head to the side when Karen started saying something about the second hand supplies, but was distracted by seeing the Fat Lady for the first time. Her eyes went wide when she spoke, asking for the password.

Karen said the password. The portait swung forward revealing a hole in the wall. She climbed through and emerged in the common room.

Once in the common room, Lisha looked around with interest for a few seconds, then started her questioning again, "So why do you have second hand supplies too?" she asked curiously
