Shakespeare in Love is a great movie, and sort of shows the young boys playing a femaly role in a play, it's quite hilirious.
I've never been introduced to Shakespeare, or anything until this semester in college since i'm taking Introduction to Theatre.
Shakespeare in Love is a pretty good movie--apparently a lot of the information cited in there is true to historical evidence. Christopher Marlowe was his main competition at the time--if Shakespeare never existed, then what of Marlow? Also, it's not exactly a secret that his plot lines weren't exactly all original, as he'd borrowed from many other previously published works of others; however, that's not to say that the language and style of writing isn't his own. Through records, there are birth and death records of William Shakespeare. Unless of course, you're indicating the fact that there were Shakespeare imposters... which could be a possibility as his writing style did vary qutie a bit from his first works to his last. Although that could be credited to his writing ability evolving and improving.
