Noriko M. Chijinu ;.; Best~> Getting am OMG hat for 4K back in January and a December for 6K in February and getting my Tail for one hell of a bargain. Oh! And getting a Jack shirt for 4K a day before the price boom... Worst~> Selling my Minis... I had gotten them as a consolation price in some art-contests... I bought complex pants with the money and was happy 'cuz I had spare... I had no idea what the Exchange was then... Now that I look back at my trade listing... It's funny~ I never realized I traded with some of my good friends now. You should be able to see what went on in the trade, as in the gold/items involved... It's hard to tell only by the titles~ that sounds just like me way back in Nov. or Dec. I didn't even know anything about the exchange. Made a lot of mistakes selling it for the wrong prices

Honestly, I'm having a lot of trouble thinking up of best/worst deals. I'm sure there were some really nice trades that I did. I just can't remember the specifics... xd
In my opinion, my best deal was being Haden's bumper for his art auction in exchange for some free art. His art has always been in my sig, he got a friend to color it for free, and his regular art goes for insane amounts of gold/items.
As for my worst deal, I can't think of one. Every deal I've done in the past was either a form of charity, or I was able to profit from the transactions (whether it was by 50g or 5k). Before I started trading, I did a lot of research watching the GEN, and how things were done. That's part of why I love the GEN so much. It's unbiased, easy to use, and is a great resource for learning how to play the exchange.
.....although now that I think of it, maybe that's why I'm not filthy rich. I don't take enough risks....

Best: I bought a jacked shirt for like 5k a Few months ago.
Better: WIth my old character I bought Bunnies for about 6k. A long time ago.
Worst: I sold my bunnies for 4k a week later to get Elf Ears.
Even Worse: I donated my Jaked shirt to someone. Like 3 days before the price rocketed.
After all that I really felt like giving up everything. But I didn't. And, I still suck at this game.

Wow lets see...
Best:
Back when the new rares and uncomons came out I oppened my pink box that a friend gave me for my b-day. I got the new Helm of the Vikings (worth around 30k at the time) and found someone that traded me a coon tail (worth around 50k at the time) for it! Then I held an auction and sold the cool tail for I think 10 may letters, 5k and a trap jaw (that I ended up trading for another may letter) A week later the cost of the Helm of the Vikings was about 14k and coon tail was around 30k whee eventualy they droped to about what they are at now 3nodding
Worst:
xd Well I havn't had anything bad happen yet ;>.>

Best: Buying Chicky Slippers for 17k in February 2004. xd
Worst: Letting someone borrow my Chicky Slippers and never seeing them again. >.<

Best: Selling an easter basket for something like 12k, shortly after the first round of egg-collecting had finished. Hope whoever it was that bought it doesn't hate me now... redface But even better was blowing my extra cash on a pair of those weird little NMHB-ripoff things before taking a break from Gaia last fall. Came back a few months later later, and they were worth 100k! eek I almost died. whee Now they're... *checks GEN* 1 million!?!?!? eek *falls over*
Haven't had many bad trades... Suppose the worst was swapping a Feb for a G-pin, because I missed the event, and didn't have enough cash to buy one at the time. I was afraid the pins would become really hard to get if I waited too long, so I just swapped a letter for one. I knew that money-wise, it might not have been the best move (febs were worth than pins anyway) but I liked the pins better than the Zony stuff, so I was fine.

today i made a good deal:
yesterday i won an auction for an angelic headband and got it for 14k. today i traded this one plus 4k for 6 sealed envelopes, which is a price of 3k for each sealed envelope. *evil-me* twisted
but the other side made a good deal, too, as he trade 6 envelopes for a value of 4.5k each according to the gen priceguide. *angel-me* 3nodding
of course, the person who sold the hb for 14k wasn't that lucky, but that's the risk you take when you use the marketplace. wink

Best:
-Buying a ton of Emo Bags for 13k a few weeks ago, which turned into a 40k December Letter -Buying an October Letter for Nov + Dec + Emo Bag (I opened it, but I don't care - no one wants to upgrade tails anymore anyway) -Selling a Jack's Bag #1 for 200k right before the price fell 40k
Worst:
-Buying an Angelic Headband for 24k a week before it dropped to 20k -Buying my Angelic Gloves for 16k

I made a stupid trade once a long time ago before there even was a gaia, so I know better now. the best thing that ever happened to me was, well, my ongoing project to stash letters. I started in June 04 and I can foresee a time when there are many many people who want horns or a pendant, even though they're semi-common right now. I'll have to see how my evil plot to acquire angelic minis via selling and upgading letters to newbies in the future goes.

Best: When I had purchased 5 September letters when they worth around 10k.
Worst: Losing my old username which is approx worth around atleast 6 million. Selling those 5 September letters when they worth 30k and not what they are worth now.
