I've never camped, out for a console. (although my mom, did stand inline for 3 hour's for the 360. Without me knowing, and she did get it on launch day.) Although i did wait in, line for the PS3 for 2hours in -25 weather. And i missed it by 1 person..

Well I is a good boy and reserved it on June 7. We still went to get it at midnight but the stupid clocks on the registers were off by 15 minutes so we had too wait untill 12:15 sad

I got mine about half a year after release, just so all the bugs were fixed.

i just walked in and got one cos i preordered... alto collected about a month after release. there is hardly a queue were i live, most places were sold out of halo 2 on release but my friend and i just walked in after school and there was hardly anyone else there, sucks tho, i got the preorder for halo 2 about a week before they said that you would get collectors edition and im stuck with regular sad

no i looked for one a month later and got one.
I did camp out for a wii (nobody in my town was accepting preorders) i called and asked how they were doing it and they said that they would give them out on when they open at noon so i waited from about 5:00A.M. and five minutes before they opened they posted a message saying they were sold out (before they opened) which means they gave them away before they told me well my mom asked me if i got one when i came back i told her and well lets just say I would hate to have been the manager that day.
