Tommy can't help but laugh. For a brief moment, he thought the guy yelped due to his face...but then he remembered his mask...and the great fun that is Halloween. He steps back a few paces, still laughing.
He manages to speak after a moment, "Sorry 'bout that, didn't mean to startle you...wait...yeah, yeah I guess I did now didn't I? You alright?"

Pyroth was just glad to have been able to get the damn costume on, hellish as it had been or not. Armour was not fun to put on when neither of you had thumbs. But somehow they'd managed to get into their getups. Now he was contentedly padding alongside Bobby, tail swishing.
As he spotted the others gathered around, he smirked, there was Colche, Tommy and a few others he didn't recognise. Far from being detered by these strangers, he simply held his helmeted head that bit higher. He might as well been marching for how careful his steps were.
However he noticed Bobby's hesitancy and paused in his tracks, looking up at her with a frown. "Don't worry." he said, switching to a broad smile "It's halloween, the one time when you don't need to worry what other people think of your appearance. I'll bet we will see some sights tonight anyway."

Sayuri wasnt sure what he was doing when he put his hands to his head and pulled at his skin...then relief flooded her as he pulled what she now realised was a mask of a costume off his head. She shook her head at his question. 'I have not. Have not celebrated this holiday before.' she said carefully. She was glad to see he was just a normal guy. A very big, but normal guy. She blushed, crossing her arms over her chest, more embarrassed now as she realised he wouldnt be eating her. She grabbed the mask as he pushed it towards her, the hairs from it tickling the skin of her belly and watched as he dunked his head into the water. She giggled when his sopping head re-emerged, clapping at the feat. 'Very good!' she exclaimed, before jumping at his own exclamation as Tommy approached them. She sidestepped towards Oz, what was her menacer had become her protector as the new man's costume looked to her pretty scary.

Bobby took a step back, it was all just too much. Maybe later she'd get the nerves.... but not yet. No doubt the food would bring her back at some point. She knelt down next to the 'man' she loved and wrapped her thick arms around his neck.
Leaning back, her arms still around him, she smiled sadly, "I will probably be /the/ sight, for I am sure no one else is so..... large. I am jsut not ready yet.... not yet to see the others. You enjoy yourself and I'll be back later tonight." The pig scratched his ears affectionately and kissed his muzzle.
Then, without another word, she got up and walked to hide in the shadows. Bobby turned around with a smile, and waved a hoof.

Oz was laughing in-between gasping breaths.
"No no, its fine. Talk about playing the part," he chuckled. The water dripped down his head and had soaked a good part of his costume. Yuck. Wet fur smell. Oh well, he'd probably smell worse by the end of the night anyway.
"Please excuse my manners. If I'm going to make an arse of myself tonight, you might as well know my name. I'm Osbourne, but most people call me Oz," he said pleasantly, speaking from Sayuri then to Tommy.

With an extremely long digit, Tommy pushes up his Jason mask. His grinning, though mutated, face shows underneath. He looks from Oz to Sayuri and nods to them both. Well...they don't seem to be freaking out...that's a good thing I guess. Goddamn it feels good to just...mingle...makes you feel human.
"Name's Tommy...Tommy Christian."

Pyroth knew better than to argue with Bobby, if she felt it wasn't time to go to the party yet then he couldn't make her. He didn't doubt she'd be back later on, after all, she had been soo keen. Perhaps the crowds a little later in the night, when the drinks had been flowing would coax her out. He nodded understandingly.
"If you don't want to go yet, I'll wait for you here. Come back when you feel ready." he gave her an affectionate lick before watching her head off, he called out after her with a grin "If you don't come back later, I'll come find you!"
And with that, he bounded off into the party itself, padding into the room and going for a wander to see what was on offer.

The big man didnt seem to think anything unusual of Tommy's long fingers, but Sayuri couldnt quite wrench her eyes from them right away. Her tail flickered, moving the back part of her skirt a little and she stepped forwards, away from Oz and bowed to both of them as she remembered her manners. 'Sayuri,' she said. 'I am pleased to meet the two of you.' she looked at Oz. 'What is Oz costume please?'

Smiling brightly the little cheetah girl had made her way to one of the tables, the deserts one, as usual she had made a beeline for the sweeties. Having made short work of a slice of cake though she now stood cleaning her maw with her tongue and looking around the tent for somone she knew, or just somone. She spotted Bobby and Pyroth entering and waved to them though they seemed to be in their own little world for a moment and Bobby vanished in to the darkness.
Wrinkling her nose she gave a soft puurr and sighed gently. Tilting her head her blue eyed gaze fled to the other table wheer there was a mass of people gathering by the looks of things, she considered bounding on over to say hi but she wanted to give pyroth a cuddle first. He looked so cute in his little outfit! Giggling she pounded off to glomp the cyote man.

Teeth. Huge friggin teeth. If it had not been for Oz mentally reminding himself that it was Halloween, he would have started to question Tommy's odd appearance. He could relate to the wrinkled nose - he himself had trouble accepting his own - but those teeth were scary to look at. Oz hadn't even noticed the long spindly fingers, and were simply an after-thought. That was one hell of a double-costume.
"A pleasure Tommy," he nodded politely, the smile fading just a little as he tackled Tommy's disquieting apperance.
He then looked to Sayuri and found her to be quite cute in her mannerisms. Although, being in the slave Leiah costume didn't help. Bansihing those naughty thoughts would take a while.
"A pleasure Sayuri, and might I say a very pretty name," he replied smoothly. He thought he had charm but what other people would think was a different matter entirely. "Oh, its a gorilla costume. Ever seen a gorilla before? Big, black furry apes, live in the jungle and such."
Now that he wasn't quite so preoccupied in demonstrating his bobbing skills, his eyes could wander the tent. He just grabbed a glimpse of a fairly bonny woman leaving and a dog of some sort, with its own costume no less, delving further in. And then there was the girl. Well, what he assumed to be a girl from the outfit. Not many grown women liked to be princesses anymore. Or at least innocent princesses.
But she had another double-costume too.
"Who is she?" he asked the pair in his company, inclining his head over to Colche. She seemed a bit young to be at a rehab clinic.

Pyroth was sniffing his way along the tables, taking in all the different foods that were on offer, along with the overpowering scent of the plastic decorations and the other people who were hanging around. The whole tableau of scents made his nose rather happy and he was consequentially too distracted to notice Colche's speedy approach until too late.
He looked round to see the cheetah princess bearing down on him and could only grin.
"'Lo there!"

'Sankyuu,' she said, tilting her head as she accepted the compliment, blushing furiously as she did so. 'Gorrilah? No I have not seen such animal.' she shook her head, as he asked his latter question. 'I have not met..' her voice trailed off. Too many people. She needed a drink, and time to herself for a moment. She hoped they would excuse her. 'Excuse please.' she bowed again. 'I need drink,' and she padded off, hips swaying and tail flicking as she went.

Tommy's own smile falls and his eyes take on the look of hurt. He quickly drops his gaze, practically feeling himself start to draw in. He mumbles out an excusal as he pulls his mask back down. Turning, he makes his way to the blood punch bowl, drawing in on himself even more. He probably won't react to much until later on.

Colche giggled and quite literally 'glomped' Pyroth wrapping her arms around his neck and giving him a nice big silky, furry cuddle. "hehe Pyroth! You look sooooooo cute!" she giggles snuggling the doggy man happily before releasing him, though she stayed at ground level, her shirts puffing out around her making her look like a cup cake. Reaching up a furry paw like hand she ruffles his ears and smiles happily.
"You 'member lastest halloween pyroth?" She smiles wistfully her puurr never stopping even as she spoke. "Have lots of fun this year" she wrinkles her nose happily tilting her head in a cattish manner to get a better look at Pyroth in his 'cute' outfit. She really was quite impressed. he looked dashing and cute at the same time she didn't think it possible. She guessed only Pyroth could pull it off though. The 'tramp' didn't look at all like the one on her dvd today, he looked more like robin hood maybe. She giggled a little at the thought, she didn't have a clue whom mark antony was, so robin hood would have to do.

Oz was not usually very good at picking up people's emotions and feelings, but it was hard to miss Tommy's clear hurt. As the peculiar man wandered off back towards the 'punch' bowl, Oz is left to wonder what he did wrong.
What did I say?
His blank expression was accompanied by a slump in his posture. Great, he'd been here all of five mins and had already acted like a jerk. Somehow. He turned around as Sayuri began speaking once more, and agreed with her about getting a drink.
"Good idea. It was pleasure meeting you Sayuri, I'll be over by the food tables stuffing my face if you need me," he said, his tone and expression gradually rising back to his previous cheerfulness.
With that, he lightly tapped the gorilla-head mask from Sayuri's grip before she wandered off with it, but chose not to put it on. Food wwas more important than costume etiquette. His eyes surveyed Sayuri's figure with relish...until he spotted the tail.
"People really take Halloween seriously here," he muttered to himself, making a bee-line for the dessert table first. On his way, he passed Colche and Pyroth and gave them a friendly smile and wave.
She kinda reminded him of his little sister.
((Going AFK for food, feel free to write Oz as just stuffing his face until later smile ))
