Precious_Cabi Okay, you all know how mage-happy Square gets at times w/ their RPG's, right? *Looks around, hoping people are still with her.* Good. Now, if they took LOD, which doesn't have your "regular mages," wouldn't it be logical for mage-happy Square to try and change that and create "regular mages?" So, what better way to do that than to go and take your average Human, maybe Dragoon, and 'accidentally' toss them into those giant magical-portal-things you see at the Black Castle at the end of Disk 1. And now, not only will the Human-maybe-Dragoon survive it, but Square will go out of their way to make sure the magic 'somehow' rubbed off on them, making them into a mage. Ah... I have no doubt that made no sense... I hope there's a few who understand my theory-on-crack! i see now....

Dart's some sort of whiney horn-dog, Shana would be able to Summon "Dragon Deities" or something, Meru would be some super-ultra-slutty-looking famous Pop Diva with come sort of annoying "I'm cute, but WAY annoying and ya all gotta love me for it" complex (*cough*Rikku*cough*)...and so on and so forth...you all get the picture, right? xd

*nods in agreement* Yup, they better not be mage-happy about it. They'll be changing all the characters if they do that. Like Ivory said, the charries will be FF-esque in appearance and personality *cough*Rikku again*cough* DON"T CHANGE THEM SQUARE! *pouts* That'll just ruin LoD's spice: characters that aren't FF-esque. It's what appealed to me (at least one of the things that did biggrin ).

Things that are similar in both games: Blonde spikey-haired swordsman as the main character (For ff7 and 10) Girl that sticks with the main character a lot because she has feelings for him. Hyperactive girls wearing a little more than nothing. *cough* Rikku and Meru *Cough* Platinum haired swordsmen that are a pain to beat. I will update this post with other things that people find similar.

Sacred_Guardian Ivory_Feld Sony still says they want nothing to do with it and creating a remake and or sequal is of no interest to them. I say for that we flame them and make them eat monkey poo. But seriously, no. Unless the copyrights have been or are given and or boughten by another game company not in league with Sony, then there will never BE a sequal. As much as I hate that as everyone else here does. So keep praying someone in Sony takes a redwood out of their a** and starts something on the game again. rolleyes Careful, Square Enix may want to dip their hand in that cookie jar. And, being that Square owns 2/3 of Sony, they really couldn't say much. lol AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Well, I would think that the only way a human could have magic is if he is the spawn of wingly and human.

ChaosDragoon0 Well, I would think that the only way a human could have magic is if he is the spawn of wingly and human. Actually, not true. The winglies themselves are actually losing their own magic as time passes. Right now, the most any of them can do is fly, and a lucky few can throw fireballs.

Yes, but I think that it is a lack of usage, most likely if they used their magic more often like in the ancient past their power would grow.
Plus, maybe a fusion of wingly and human blood would produce offspring with signifcant magical power. Kinda like Sayans and humans in DBZ

But they didn't. Case closed.
DUDE!!! DBZ is a HORRIBLE example!!! According to Saiyan legend, there's only supposed to be ONE Super Saiyan. And then all of a sudden Goku has kids, and Vegeta has kids, and they can ALL go Super Saiyan!!! And then theres a level 2, and then a level 3, and then a FOUR!?!?!? And each time they become stronger, they always say the same thing.... "He's so strong I can feel his energy from all the way over here!!!" It's sitll a cool show though.

Hey, it is only a legend, the Sayans of Planet Vegeta probably never pushed themselves to as great of extremes as Goku and the others. Legends don't state the rules.

I love how we went from sequels and prequels to Square's sluts to DBZ!
I'm not sure if using magic more would give the Winglies more magic... I guess I see it as kind of like a bit of a supply-deal. It'd run out eventually, IMO.
On the line of DBZ, I loathe it. It's the same thing over and over!! It's a continuous cycle of flying around, fighting, training, and those stupid battle-competition things. Over and over... gonk I need plot! *Continues watching V for Vendetta*
Anyway, I would still find it funny if Square took LOD. Not only would the initial shock be enjoyable, but the curiousity of how they would destroy the characters would get the best of me. They'd probably give the lady-Dragoons even less to wear when they're transformed... scary... o.O
