Aki looked away from Topanga with a slight blush on his face, "Well i think beautiful suits you better..." He finaly looked at her with a ginger smile on his face. He ment what he said he just did not know how to express it.

Topanga nearly dropped the flower. How she managed not to she would never know. She opened her mouth to respond, could not find the words & promptly closed it again. Her eyes lowered & she blushed furiously, both startled & alarmed by the truth in his. When she brought her gaze back up she was smiling shyly. "I... I've never been called pretty by anyone much less beautiful..." She flipped her fins nervously. "Certainly never by such a dashing beta."
With a quick flick of her fins she turned & lightly kissed Aki's cheek. "Thank you." Topanga murmured lightly before darting back to where she had been.

If Aki was not in water he would be floating. First Topanga was cute when she blushed, second she called him dashing... him, dashing? It was the sweetest thing that he had ever heard.
When she kissed him on the cheek where her lips touched turned red then it spread all over his face. he was smiling like and idiot. "well it was only the truth. Though i have never been called dashing before. His smile some how got bigger as he offered his arm to her agian to keep up with their walk

She took it shyly, almost more so after the exchange. "Well someone should have." She said at length as they continued their swim. "Maybe you just need to get out of your tank more."

Aki did not look at her. HE was very happy being here with her, "yes but there is not garentee i would meet someome, or someone as nice as you." He swam with her for a moment before asking, "So do you want more tankmates?"

She blushed anew at the latest compliment. "No... no guarantee... but then, we wouldn't have met either if we didn't get out."
Topanga was fully enjoying herself -despite the blushing- & more, she enjoyed the male's company. She had to contemplate his question when it came. "More tankmates? I've not really thought about it since El & Yun came. I was lonely before, but now it's not so bad. I'm not really sure I want more tankmates."
The female was not so lost in thought that she missed watching the living artistry of the reef, or the feel of swimming beside Aki. "I'm certainly not against more tankmates though." Her thoughts shifted to something her brother had said & her mouth started speaking along those veins before Topanga realized she was speaking. "Especially if I should have children."
Finally catching up to her words Topanga's eyes widened & she shut her mouth with a snap, blushing furiously.

Aki really liked spending time with Topanga. She was sweet and cute, even when she blushed. He liked the way it spread around her face. "So you are not sure about tankmates, but you do want children?" he smiled at her showing that he was just trying to be friendly, just to get to know her better.

"I wouldn't mind more tankmates... it's just that I'm content enough now so it's not a "want" really." She laughed a little at her own silliness.
"and yes... I'd like children." Topanga said softly, not quite whispering but certainly with less volume than she had been speaking. "But after Yunalesca... I just don't know what kind of mother I'll be. But Sunburst wants me to make him an uncle & I really would like to be a mother. Someday."

"Well when you have a lot of tank mates thinking of only having a few is kinda hard. I like it because i have my own room for when i REALLY need to be alone, yet there is always someone there when i want to be around people." Aki got a slightly glased look on his face. "I also would like a family. I think family is very important." the look left him though he still had a smirk on his face. "I am very sure you would be a good mother. You seem to be fair and understanding, which is what you need to deal with young ones most of the time. Well unless they are those nitemare... they are a little harder sometimes."

Topanga hugged him impulsively. Maybe it was her family, but she was a very expressive beta. "Family is important. I love meeting my family." She smiled, blushing lightly. "I know you'll make a great father, with the experience you've got."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, but you've not seen me with Yunalesca." The female sighed softly. "She's not a nightmare, but I think her siblings are. It's not that she's bad in any way... she's just so... I mean she never listens &... argg!" Topanga threw her free fin up in agitation. "I just don't know what to do with her. El is so much better at keeping her in check." Chuckling softly Topanga glanced sideways at Aki. "Maybe it will be different when I've my own."

Aki glowed at the hug from Topanga. "i really do agree with family being impratant, but i am still sure you will be a good mother." he smiled down at her, "i know Nitemare, and those who share thrie blood. they like to be little bits of terror. I also know it will be different between others children and your own. Just by watching my tankmates who have had children and then try to help those who are not theirs." he sighed at the memory, "they like to be harder becasue they know you are not the boss of them. I am still sure you are a find care taker and will be a wonderful mother." Aki gave her a big warm smile

"So maybe she would behave better if one of her mothers was around?" It was a novel idea & Topanga let herself ponder it. She of course had no idea that while she was out the baby in question had grown into adulthood. Then she shrugged off the thought; She had spent enough time thinking about Yun. She was out to get away from such thoughts & worries. "I guess I'll just have to wait & see." Topanga remarked with a silly grin. Who knew when that might be?
Then a different thought struck her & Topanga tilted her head curiously at the handsome male beside her. "Aki... if you want children, how come you don't have any yet? Maybe I'm presuming, but if you watch over a tank of 33 beta certainly you've had time to ...well... start a family of your own."
She blushed hoping she was not being too invasive.

Aki though about what Topanga said about having a mother around. "Well she might be better if her mother was around, but each beta is different. Believe me. And why have I not started a family? Well I do not have much time to get out of the tank. And i really do not want to have a relationship with those in my tank. I mean it would be kinda weird making a family with my best friends daughter. I really would have rather looked other place for someone to breed, or even mate with. But watching over the tank had, like i said, not let me get out much."
He worn a sweet half smile as he looked at her, "why start tank drama if i am going to be living with them for a very long time?"

Topanga nodded thoughtfully, assimilating Aki's words. Then she smiled almost sheepishly. "I guess I can see your point, though it's not something I'd really have thought about being just El, Yun & me in our tank. Our human sees we all get out enough if we want, so that's never been a problem either." She laughed a little. "Of course, this is my first time being out where I've not run into blood family when meeting new beta. It's kinda nice."
Bumping his shoulder with hers playfully Topanga gave him a teasing yet innocent grin. "I think it all comes 'round to you should be getting out more. How else are you gonna find someone out of tank to mate with?"

Aki had a slight blush when she bumbed his shoulder. "yes... she is trying harder to make sure i get out more. Though it still does not mean it is going to happen much." he looked at her, "That is actualy my problem with not having blood relitives, there is no one i can bumo in to, or meet. I think i would like it very mught to meet my gradchild or somthing when out swimming. I am enyous of you."
