KaGe_Khoai O.o I don't have any parents that are like that. But i have a cousin brianna, she has a mother named brenda, and brenda is lesbian. and she loves girls. not guys. so she had sex with a guy just to get a baby.. then dumped the guy and went to a girl. now the girl is brend'a girlfriend and claims the baby. now that brianna is like 7 years old, they keep making her believe that they had her even though their two lesbian women. let me tell you, it can really mess the child's mind up. I agree! It depends on HOW the situation is handled by the parents. In my daugher's friend's case, the dad has always been involved, so she has two loving moms (Mom and Mama) and an adoring dad. I wouldn't recommend someone be with a guy just to get pregnant, but I think both genders of parents are important. Each brings something valuable in the relationship.

Well, My mother is a lesbian but I don't think she was too sure of that when she met/went out with/married my dad but I think when they got divorced she decided to try life down that road and I think she's happy (Even though she's not with anyone, or as far as I know.) She brought both myself and my brother up with open minds so whatever religion, sexuality or even the life we choose to lead, she'll support us. I understand many people would've killed for a parent like that, But since I don't get along with my mum, I don't really think much of it at the moment. Maybe when I'm older I'll learn to respect how I was raised and do the same with my children (Although it's not likely I'll have any, I just hate kids...) OR I'll stay nonethewiser and go out and get bladdered every night. o_O Bladdered = Drunk, English terms, Shoot me already.

I'm happy it's working for some people. I only know of two lesbian couples that have children.
One couple adopted three brothers (all under the age of 10). As great as both moms are I KNOW for a fact that they all missed having a man in their lives. The youngest boy was always hanging on my husband and was just dying for his attention. The family went to our church and all three boys really wanted a man to be around, they clung to most of the male Sunday school teachers. I felt bad for them because even though they were loved by their mothers, it wasn't the same as having a dad sad
The other couple is different. My friend got pregnant by her gf's gay friend (does that make sense?). Everything was fine until just before she gave birth. It all turned to hell because her gf dumped her (didn't want a child it turns out) and the father and his bf decided to fight for custody. It turned into a big ugly mess and the child (a little girl) is the one that got screwed over...she didn't ask to be born cry
I realize not all same sex couples have these issues when they decide to have children...I am just stating my experiences.
