"You don't have to make your own costume, just call the labs and ask for one." Amaya pointed one of her long fingers at the duplex door they were standing in front of on the path. "I can't make my own either, though I did last year." She held out her hands, clear evidence as to why.

He glanced down at the long, spidery fingers and swallowed, smiling back up at the girl as kindly as possible, "Th-those m-must... b-be a bit of a h-hassle. Wh-when it c-comes to b-buttons and s-suchlike, I mean. Ahah..." He chuckled at his own joke, but soon stopped when he realized it really wasn't that funny.

Despite it not really being all that funny, the teen still managed a smile and tiny laugh. "Yeah, but they've been this way for awhile... you get used to it and adapt."

Newt nodded. He liked this lizard-woman. She was nice, and non-threatening. He liked it when people where non-threatening. "Ah... ah... M-miss... Amaya... er... th-the... ah... d-dance... I m-mean... um... are... are y-you going with anyone?"
