We still need a GM to be picked, nothing against Phoe and Hirun. Its just a chance to open it up to everyone who wants a chance. None taken. I'm still trying out though. cool HirunHikari

XD No offence taken, DeGei. I wouldn't mind letting another GM be elected; everyone should get an equal shot. I might try out, and I might not; it depends on how busy I am.

 That was my idea for when we needed to restart the game. I think it's a good idea, as long as it's okay with everyone else.

Part of me wants to apply for GMship next game, the other part goes "Are you CRAZY? You have 238275471 things to do and not enough time in the evenings anyways! STOPIT" sweatdrop
But I find the idea of starting the game on Halloween totally cool. ninja

I really like the idea of a Halloween start to the game, but there are several things to consider.
1. It's HALLOWEEN. Those GCDSGers with actual lives may be trick-or-treating IRL. Or they might be handing out candy and such.
2. It's HALLOWEEN. That means PLOT UPDATE/EVENT. Honestly, how much time will you spend here while the event (LAWLZ ALIENS AND ITEMS <3) is going on?
3. We need time for everyone to get their applications written, perfected (as well as they see fit), and submitted. Then we have to decide. That, in and of itself, will take a while.
4. SIGN-UPS. Who knows how long this'll take? Now that we're not in the GCD anymore, we're not likely to fill up very fast, and I don't think one day is enough for people who need to sign up. I doubt we'll even have a decent amount of people joining if sign-ups last only a day. When those are completed, positions need to be RNG'd and sent to the chosen players. THEN, we need the chosen GM(s) to write the much-anticipated update.

That's a REALLY tight schedule. I don't think we'll be able to manage it and have a game that is up to standards.
I'm not saying this is a definate "NO", but it's only my opinion. I mean, SURE; a Halloween update would be great and fun and all that. But with the time we have, I don't think it'll work. I want to be fair to everyone, including those of us who have limited computer access or internet-less-ness. >.>;

In pms IHD made a really good point, that halloween would be a great time to recruit new players, so I think having the signups start on halloween would be a good idea. Like Monkey said, getting everything done for the game to start on Halloween could be a pain.

I think that would be enough time for the GM entries.
