Donovinhs Knight in shinto dont they believe that...everything has a god in it or something? I heard that from my japanese friend since he said thats where they get the ideas for alot of the weird god creatures in anime...specially *shudders* inuyasha *Giggle* I hate that show. I figured shinto was some sort of asian religion. *Shrug*

Wicca is a very peaceful practice. My aunt practices Wicca and she is a very decent human being.
In fact the only people I know who aren't what I would consider a decent human being are some Christians and Muslims I know mostly Christians though. My Muslim friend's have no problem with me being Jewish as my Christian "friends" do. I don't have alot of Christian friends because they usually only want to be my friend to convert me.

I'm cool with pagans who I have great respect for, not so much with Wicca, which is a really recent religion that tends to blend some aspects of ancient paganism together with other non-pagan traditions (it borrows heavily from mystical aspects of Judaism, actually).
Before everyone jumps all over me, I have several friends who are serious Celtic pagans and they have pretty much the same opinion.

I'm not huge on Wicca, only because it's so very new, it's current form is only 5 years (give or take) old. As to being Pagan, the word 'pagan' comes from latin. It used to be that the Military was Catholic, but (most of) the other citizens held to yheir old personal gods, these people were called 'paganus'- pagans. This later became to mean any one not Jewish, Christian, Catholic, or muslim.
I have no ill feelings towards people for calling themselfs pagans, I just think they should know fully what it means and what it comes from.

If you take it seriously, then knock yourself out. I think it's a perfectly valid religion in that it's just an individual way of explaining the ways of the world. (And that's really all I see religion as. A way to find logic where there is none.)
