I loved when Peter took on the abilities of the artist. That was just so cool. whee heart

Yeah and he painted the cheerleader with a hole in her chest right? ...Would that kill her if her heart was blown away? >>

Oh and the shadow in the other painting...so looks like her father >>
In the painting it kind of looked like the top of her head was missing, but I'd ahve to see the scene again.
Oh, man, I wish I hadn't deleted my recording...

But that's totally what happened in the future, when Hiro first found the painter with his head all choppy. So that would make it Sylar who gets her? gonk

Have I mentioned how much I freaking love this show?

I'm so preordering it as soon as the DVDs are available. God I love it.

I get all squibbly watching the show.

Hiro was full of cuteness. I even kind of liked Claire's dad for a second, when he went all "overprotective daddy" on that football player. But I expect he cares more about her as a project than as a daughter, so it passed. crying

Man, this episode was good. I'm so excited to see where things go. EXCITED.

I also realized, now that the Venture Bros. season is over, Heroes is the only TV show I'm watching. sweatdrop

I'm three hours behind you all, so I just finished watching, and I swear I almost broke my TV when it cut off and was all "Next time".

I'm also in the "Must preorder on DVD" boat. I think it would be twice as awesome to watch all in one shot, because waiting each week (I have a very boring week, mind you) is kind of painful.

I feel like such a tool. xd

Seriously, though. Waiting a week is just cruel and unusual punishment. crying I want it all noooooow.

I half regret watching this show on TV at all. I'd probably be more content if I would've just waited and bought it on DVD. Too late now, though. crying

I think I know why Sylar has two methods of killing people.

I believe that his actual power is that by eating someone's brain he can aquire their knowledge and possibly powers.

Why?

1> His more advanced metahuman map. I don't know the full details of the Doc's death, but I'll bet it involved the brain missing.

2> Almost everyone we've seen has one power or two related powers... Sylar has shown several, or at least hinted at several.

3> His kills seem pretty random without a good reason.

Man, I've been thinking about the brain eating thing. Which, would make sense with the whole "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" thing. If Syler is after her and managed to get hold of her and take her power, he'd be invincible really. Who knows how many other powers the guy has stored up. I'm interested to see what happens with him and who it turns out to be.

As random killings go, there was a bit of talk on the NBC panel under the episode synopsis about Matt finding the girl when there was that murder that took place. I'm not too sure about it, but some were talking about how the parents were killed, but maybe one of them was Clair's real mother/father and the reason for going after the girl was that she could have shared some of the same trait that Claire has in her body healing itself. I'm not sure I like this idea, though, but maybe it was always a way for whoever Syler is to get back and cause Matt to gain his ability to read minds. Everybody needs an antagonist, after all.

..I'm rambling. Woo..

Have they though? Hiro can break time and teleport, and that's the only one I can think of so far, which could potentially be written off in general as the bending of the time continuum.

On a side note, I just realized that continuum and vaccuum both sport two u's. And I thought vaccuum was unique. crying

Haha, I remembered somethign else I wanted to say. Well, two things that I wanted to say.

After watching all the episodes over and what not, I think I've come to deciding that Claire's Father may not be as bad of a guy as we thought. So far there hasn't been much show of him actually harming anybody, though he did take hold of Matt. What did he do, only had his mind cleaned out..which worked out well in the end, since Matt and his wife were able to get back together and work things out.

He's known about Claire's power, maybe even from the beginning when she was adopted, who knows. He could have locked her up in a cell anytime, but he hasn't yet. Instead he constantly tells her that she should trust him and let him know what's going on. Plus, he had Brody's mind wiped after the accident and he found out that the guy tried to rape his daughter. He says that he could have killed him, but he kept him alive with no memory of anything, even himself, instead. Which, in the end, I'm sure will make Claire happy about nobody finding out about what happened and not having to deal with him spreading rumors about her being a slut/easy.

Maybe he is a bad guy, but I'm not so sure after not actually harming anybody in the show so far. Hell, even helping them.

As for bad people..I'm convinced that the woman, Eden, that Suresh is with is on the side of the bad guys. She may have been neighbors with his father, but she knew a lot more than she probably should have about his father's work..even if they had gotten close and the likes. Plus, the way she shows up just seems a bit set up. Guy attacks Suresh and she just happens to be there to save him? Seriously, plus she seems a bit too curious and was way too worried when he threw the laptop across the room. I think she's with the bad guys, trying to get Suresh to work further on his father's research so that they can figure out where all the people with these powers are showing up.

Aki>> I'm inclined to agree after the Daddy/Daughter scene, but he did kidnap and threaten to shoot/mindgut Nathan. So I think it could go either way at this point. It could be that he had no knowledge of Claire's abilities until recent, considering how everyone seems to be developing them abruptly, rather than being born with them.

Perhaps he allowed himself to become too attached to her before discovering what she was, and is putting her off. Or, he could even have started his research because of her for whatever reason.

And the girl, Eden, I don't disagree. She's very convenient to trust and damage the protagonist, and looks innocent enough to boot. I'm pretty sure the last time we watched, someone yelled "She's one of 'em" at the TV. Meaning evil, or something.

Yeah, he could have done something after kidnapping Nathan..but Nathan went and flew away before anything could be done. For all that we know, he could have been wiping his memory of the night before so that he'd forget about Nikki or anything else that was going on. But..since Nathan got away, we really don't know what was going on. They had Matt but they let him go. If they were out to test on these people why would they let one of them just..go, with no other word said to them?

..anybody else notice how quickly that guy gets around, though? Srsly. He lives in Texas and he just keeps popping up EVERYWHERE.
