My friend Emmylientje invited me. She is 7 years younger than me, so first thought it's a joke and I'm too old for gaia, but after a week I changed my mind. Here are also interesting places for me to hang out..

I was talking to my friend and he started talking about it. I was talking about a site I got off a cereal box and said he didn't like that one, but gaia better.

There's a french forum I'm in that had a links section with gaia in it. At first, I thought it'd be a small community like that other forum, but I soon realized that it was bigger (which meant that there was always lots of people on while there was no one on the other forum because of the time difference), that it was more diversified and that it could help me practice my english in a fun way.

An ex-friend of mine told me about gaia a few years ago. I was hooked. She, on the other hand, was barely ever on.

In the summer of 03' my sister told me about it, and we both made accounts. Then, a little while later, I made this account. My sister found out from a friend who had joined in March 03'. Now I want to know where she found out about it....

my brother told me about it and so i was like its perfect and so i joined. its only been a couple months if you can tell by my cheap arce avi sweatdrop

Back in high school I saw my best friend's friend go on this website, and he got her signed up with an account, and I followed a few days after that.
Even though this account is from 5 September 2004, my first account would be about 3 years old this month.
