((Truly important queries XD))
What a truly erratic stallion! Elizabeth was huffy because she knew that, given the circumstances, he should NOT be acting this way to her and consequently she ought to be upset, as every moral female in her position ought to be. But she was getting the distinct impression from his behavior that the more she became indignant with him, the more amused he was; and she simply refused to play that game with him any longer. After all, games were for children.
Tossing her head slightly, she brought the level of her chin down at least a few inches, her body still stiff but not quite to the degree it had been earlier. She could be forgiving if necessary, after all.
"You know, when making introductions it is proper for the gentleman to give his name and THEN inquire as to the lady's." Of course, that was assuming he was a gentleman. "But from what I've been able to determine, you are no such thing and therefore it would be foolish of me to expect you to act as such." Truer words she'd never spoken. "But if you must know, my name is Elizabeth; Elizabeth Swann. And you are?"

"Ah can be a gentleman, Miss Swann." He nickered softly, trying not to let his laughter show through again as that only seemed to make her fussier. He took a step back, placing one of his forehooves in front of him on the ground before lowering his head into a good, proper bow.
"How's that for gentleman?"He wasn't really expecting a response to that question... It was meant to be taken in a teasing manner with a soft smirk curving the corners of his mouth. "Remy Le'Beau at your service, chere."

Continuing to hold her head high, Elizabeth watched coolly but with dignity, her eyes on Remy as he swept into his bow. Humph. She still got the distinct impression that he was mocking her...but at least he was proving he had manners.
"Well, Mr. LeBeau, I wish I could say it was a pleasure to meet you, but so far I haven't decided if this encounter has been a complete write-off yet or no. And just so you know, polite words do not a gentleman make."
Humphing again, Liz swept past Remy, deciding that she was only playing his game by staring at him. She had come for a drink, and she would get a drink. Nevermind that she had actually come for a swim; there was no way she was removing her dress around THAT.

"Don't worry, chere... You don't need ta say it be a pleasure to meet me when ah know its true anyways." He nickered softly as his eyes followed her movement towards the stream. My, she was a strange one... And that dress...
"Th'water's nice today... More than nice. Cool. Perfect for a swim if you like that sorta thing. How you get around in that dress is above and beyond me, chere. Don't it make things hard? Runnin' with the wind? Splashin' 'round in the water? What do you do when it rains?"

He would not shut up. He woulnd't leave her alone, and he wouldn't shut up. She had flat-out told him she didn't care for his company, and he still WOULD NOT SHUT UP. Was she ever going to be able to get away from his seemingly endless prattle?
Apparently not.
Lowering her head, Elizabeth all but snapped up the water, indignant at the assumptions he was drawing, his familiarity with her when they'd only just met, everything about him that grated on her nerves. And he probably couldn't even claim to be drunk to excuse his behavior (not that it could anyway, of course).
Still, ignoring him would only provoke him more, wretched nit that he was. As she finished her drink, she raised her head and turned it to look at him, cheecks somewhat flushed with annoyance but otherwise perfectly compised. "Not that it makes a whit of difference to you, but I'm used to wearing clothes like this. It's comfortable. On hot days, the skirt helps keep me cool, and in cold weather the fabric keeps me warm; as for running with the wind, I simply tuck the skirt up a bit."
She deliberately ignored the queries related to swimming. If she had made any mention of her original intent to swim, she would have thought him to be cruel and provoking...and lecherous, for that matter. As it was, he was still cruel, if unknowingly so. And once again, it simply wasn't his business.
