Here's what I'm doing:
I spent 25 gold in tokens. I don't think I'll spend more, at least this week.

About all that's missing is a random waitress wandering through the slot machines selling drinks.
I'm having a great time with the slots!!!!
The tickets are selling for as much as 4 gold each. And for every 100 gold I've dumped into the virtual slots, I'm averaging 400 tickets. Granted that this is thanks to a couple of big wins, but it is rare that I don't break even for every 100 gold spent. And selling off some lots of tickets puts me back on track.
I haven't had to touch my original investment and I have 5000 tickets as of this morning. I'm looking into a couple of pair of glasses. I love the simple dot eye glasses. They kind of make my avatar look like Arthur the Aardvark.

The good thing about slots is the minimum amount of EFFORT necessary to play. It's perfect for busy people who just want to click the mouse button just once every 20 seconds, while doing something else.

I've had very few chances to play the slots this week thanks to random problems with connection error messages.
Tonight I did fairly well, but nowhere near the amount needed to buy a cheap pair of glasses.

The Slot Experiment, Part 1.
So, I have been playing Slots since day one. Of course, I hadn't played for, say, 4 or 5 days, mainly because it's a BORING GAME.
However, during those early days, I managed to spend nearly 400 gold in Tokens, gaining 469 Tickets in return.
What happened, then?
I sold them at the Marketplace, at almost twice my original investment xd
I will say more about this, later, when I finish Part 2.

The more you play, the less you win...
In other words: If you play too many tokens, there will be a point in which your ticket earnings will diminish. So, to keep it safe, restrict yourself to a set amount per day.

serial_experiments The more you play, the less you win... In other words: If you play too many tokens, there will be a point in which your ticket earnings will diminish. So, to keep it safe, restrict yourself to a set amount per day. I haven't tested this yet, but I would imagine that you're correct. Given the way the fishing games are programmed, this would be logical. The most I've squandered on a day is 500 tokens, over four different times of the day. However, I'm still way ahead. Bought my first pair of glasses and I still have 3600 tickets. I'm down to twice a day, once in the morning and evening. One sad thing to report is that the price of tickets has dropped in the Marketplace. I was getting 3 gold for 1 ticket last week. Now, I'm selling one ticket for two gold. I do this to generate more tokens rather than cut into my gold. And I'm staying ahead of the curve, so far.

You look more like a Pokemon cosplayer.
Unless in reality you are... A REPTILIAN ALIEN in DISGUISE! Like those guys from V!
