I hope that when FMA ends it will have a different ending to the anime.

I usually like manga stories better because they're more complete than the anime and often don't stray away into totally stupid things for no reason (IE the dreaded fillers) On the other hand I've watched way more anime than I've read manga. It's usually that I watch something become interested and then want to read the manga. For someone reason I rarely pick of completely random manga but I pick up random anime all the time. It's kind of weird as I perfer manga to anime. I guess becasue with anime I can watch it passively and do other things while I'm watching it which is hard to do when reading manga. Though I ALWAYS watch subtitled anime so I'm reading that too it's just that I can read/watch and like fold laundry or paint or something else useful while I'm doing it which really wouldn't work with a manga

You have a good idea there. But what's your conclusion? anime or manga?

Overall Manga, I enjoy it more and it's usually way more detailed.

Well in my opninion, it always varies between anime & manga when it comes to details, some manga's are well detailed than the anime versions & vice-versa. A good example I think is a good one of this kind of situation would be GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka), now the manga in my opinion is very well detailed & sometimes almost realistic, but when it comes to the anime, it kind of takes a down fall on details then from my own point of view.

There's a point right there but anime I think is an easy way out for the not serious type fans, you know?

Putting it bluntly, yes, manga is absolutely, in my own opinion, more detailed than anime in certain situations

Overall manga is the more detailed of the two. Though I have run across some anime that has gorgeous art. i.e Ai Yori Aoishi was set to the manga artwork. So I really liked that art.

I'm a fan of Seki Toshihiko so I do like hearing his voice in the roles he did. So there's another pro for anime. One more pro for anime is that the fight scenes look so much better. In manga it's still frame so it might be a little hard to follow, but since anime is moving it becomes a lot better.

But like I said I like manga overall. whee I'm a bookworm anyway, so I prefer reading.

personally, i think that manga is more detailed, but with the anime, you see the colour. Manga also has more violence and blood sence you cant actually see the blood, it just looks black (which is kinda freaky)
