Whatever happened to you on AIM, Caz? It seems like you were on that one time only... *Laughs*
Well, here's what I had in mind (In my mind, at least. Outer Heaven can have different RPs and such.):
The first RP is going to be called 'Simulation'. It's basically going to revolve around young, hand-picked soldiers that are going to undergo a rigorous training program almost entirely set in VR. They're an experiment. All of them have been selected for unique skills and such to later, after they are trained, make up a new elite Special Operations unit... Or form the re-birth of an old one. This is sort of going to be the beginning RP; The prequel, so to speak. After their first real mission, the RP ends.
The second RP takes place years afterwards. Details, like Hideo Kojima, are something I am going to leave in the dark. But those from the last RP can use the same characters. Of course, those character are going to be veterans since 'years have past in between' the two RPs. This is the RP where Metal Gear Solid truly begins to have a major influence.
There'll be a great many surprises for those who can RP, and those who would rather not RP can observe from the sidelines, as Solidus did, and make a character in the 2nd one.
At least that's my idea, but of course, they're going to be more fleshed out when the RP comes into existence... I hate spoiling anything 3nodding .

I'm online every night, j00. :O And I RP a ton, so I'd definitely join in. See, the one that I'd started on the official RP threads was actually one involving the characters of MGS, so this sounds refreshingly different. I've actually had a character in mind, too... -Gasp.-

Tice Forgive my nooblyness, but what is an RP? RP stands for Roleplay. Roleplaying is one of the many things Gaia is meant for, but usually, Roleplaying is not done very skillfully on Gaia. Whatever the reason, I will explain some correct forms of Roleplaying and what it is in general. ROLEPLAYING (ROLL-PALAY-ING) - To act as a fictional or existing character in a fictional or existing environment during a fictional or existing situation. The chosen character is controlled by the Player, or Roleplayer. The actions required must be determined by how the character would act in the given situation. Therefore, you choose how your character would act, what his/her emotions, thoughts, and speech will be in the Roleplay, which is a general term for a setting and situation in which other Roleplayers interact with each other with their characters in an imaginary world, rather than directly. This is like story writing, only with other people instead of yourself.Think Dungeons & Dragons (A very rudimentary example, but a general one) and you will think Roleplaying, kinda. Most forms of Roleplay do not use a battle system.

Tice omfg where did you get the MGS3 demo? If you live in America, there's this magazine that's called The Official Playstation Magazine. It's one of my favorites, other than Game Informer. The best thing about it is that you get a DVD demo disc that have demos of upcoming PS2 games (Duh)... October's issue had the Metal Gear Solid 3 demo on it... Oddly, this is the only way you will get to play the game before it's release - There are no other demo discs (Like Jampack) that have it, so you'll have to purchase the magazine. I made my own case for the demo disc, lol. Anyways, Caz - What time at night? And exactly what timezone? It's 5:23 PM where I live while I type this... So judge that by what the time is in the upper left corner of this post.

spacepiratecatdude HI cazzy, sorry I didn't reply sooner, I think we're getting together everyday from wed till sun. Oh, yeah, 'cause of UEA, huh? I completely forgot about that... I still have to work Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 7, but after that I'm free. Plus a lot of days I get to go home early paid 'cause my team has the best SPH. Haha. We all need to get together and see Saw on Friday.

Or if you purchase a copy of the magazine and have it sent to a friend in the U.S. if they don't accept international shipping. Then said friend can ship it out to you. Yeah, I mail s**t a lot. Obsessive-Compulsive, much? sweatdrop
