Title: Bloodstone Genre: Fantasy Synopsis: Okay, warning... my muse does NOT comprehend the word "short" so this is FREAKING LONG. That said:
Noah is a thief boy who wants nothing to do with the rest of the world and wouldn’t mind if the rest of the world left him alone. He is caught one night by Damien, a boy who really doesn’t look like he belongs in this part of town. They strike up an odd kind of friendship and Damien asks Noah to accompany him and his younger brother Matthias on a journey to Stone Tower; a place far north of where they are. Noah asks what’s in it for him and Damien replies that he can find out what the pendant means. Noah is shocked, as his pendant has never been noticed by anyone before let alone the fact that he doesn’t know what it signifies. Scowling, he says that he’s not interested but agrees the next day anyway. Their journey begins after stealing a couple of horses and they make their way north, fighting off those who try to impede their journey and Matthias dies along the way, saving Damien from a direct attack. Once they arrive at Stone Tower, Damien turns on Noah and they fight, resulting in Noah being thrown into a cell. He fights off any people that enter his cell until the fatigue and lack of food and drink wears him out and he no longer has the strength to fight. His pendant is taken and when he comes to, Damien explains that he is a part of a clan of warlocks who have sworn themselves against Aviel, the goddess of blood and death. He tells Noah that he brought him all the way to Stone Tower to take the Bloodstone Pendant – the pendant Noah wore, as it is a strong magical talisman that, once activated in the proper ritual, gives the bearer control over the gates of death. They drag Noah up to witness the ritual, where the one who is decided to be the bearer must soak the stone in their blood and it will absorb the blood (hence the name) and forge a bond between the magic of the stone and the bearer. The leader of the clan tries and the blood isn’t accepted. Others try and nothing works, much to their confusion. Noah, smirking, reveals that he’s Aviel’s follower. He’s already activated the bloodstone. This confuses the clan further, as the ancient texts have all said that once activated, the bloodstone pendant can’t be removed because if it is, the bearer dies within seven days and that they’ve already tested it on him. He responds saying that although he may be Aviel’s follower, above all, he’s still a criminal and he stays alive by taking advantage of loopholes. He reminds them that the Bloodstone Pendant is described to be a blood red stone worn on a black thread – and that the stone’s on a metal chain. He’s never worn it on a black thread, because he would then have to actually serve as the goddess’ gateman and she’s never really needed him. He proceeds to tell them that it’s finally his time, and that Aviel is calling for him. Small fight. Noah reclaims the bloodstone. He unties the black string that’s always been tied around his arm and threads the stone onto it. Bam Power. Bam Death. He spares Damien because Aviel tells him to. So instead, he revives Matthias, who now knows of all of the deceit (as Damien only pretended that he was Matthias’ brother, and actually murdered his parents when Matthias was a baby, in the name of his clan). Damien breaks down and Noah is about to put him out of his misery when Aviel intervenes. She tells him to forgive Damien, and that she will erase both Damien and Matthias’ memories so they have no memory of anything – of Noah, of the clan or of their journey, and leaves it up to Noah to decide what happens to them. Ends with the three of them making friends and being happy. woo.

Title: Soulbound Genre: Fantasy/Action Synopsis: Two demons, Janan and Kenna, unknowingly seek the same adversary in feudal Japan. Janan knows Kenna from past events, but is intent on hiding her identity from him to protect him. However, during a fight with aforementioned adversary (Katsu) her mask is shattered and her identity is revealed. Most of this first half of the story is from Kenna's POV.
The second half of the story is mainly from Janan's POV. Kenna and Janan start travelling together to seek out the adversary. Along the way, several events shape test their friendship with one another. Upon finding the adversary, they have to find their way through a labyrinth-castle first. The final battle occurs, and Kenna realizes the extent of Janan's immortality when she prevents Kenna's death during the battle. I will not state the ending, because that will ruin the story for everyone else... wink

Title: Watch Me (subject to change) Genre: Mystery (also fantasy, sort of, but whenever someone sees fanatsy, they automatically think dragons and magic, which is so not what my novel is about.) Synopsis: The world has been swallowed up by the Madness. Few settlements built within fortresses survive. Hardcastle is one of three rumored to still stand. Detective Mercer Shanahan is in charge of the Violet District where high society flourishes. Within the last few weeks, a series of poisonings has broken out. The victims are the young ladies who frequent the circuit of parties and balls; daughters of wealthy men and families struggling to break free from the status quo. Mercer is hired to invetsigate further. With his apprentice Garrett, he'll discover the slow infiltration of Hardcastle by the victims of Madness.
I don't have much actually written out yet, but the whole things up there in my head. It's supposed to be a mystery, so I'm not going to give anything else away.

Title: Dias Azules Genre: Sci-Fi Synopsis: A Celestial War is going on, and the crazy Chinese wizard Karp is wreaking hell on earth. Aleister Crowley demands a debt from the latter, and when he refuses, Hats, a homeless wizard/bird god (sounds horrid), kicks Karp around. He leaves to go kill someone to start a war so that Crowley will have a crack at Karp (which he never would, considering how powerful he is). Meanwhile, a group of characters are in Limbo, one being a refugee from the Celestial War, and another being a well-seasoned reincarnate (who, when wounded and living, produces horrible magic and monsters from the wound). Hats goes to Limbo, threatens the refugee to fix a problem he's got with fate, and kidnaps the reincarnate and brings him as a corpse to the living world (specifically, the castle in Britain where he killed originally to start another war).
wow, it's horrible and nuts, huh? it all connects, I swear it!!
