I still have a lot to learn before getting a job. xp

I have a job, but it's only two paper routes and the landscaping bussiness my step father has started.

You're lucky. sad

The paper route job is a pain right now since it's starting to rain alot and I have to get up at 1am for work.

I applied for a Junior Programmer position at this company. Hopefully it'll come with a working visa so that i won't have to go back to the Philippines on January 2005.

It's like a cross between VB6 and Visual C++.

Does that mean I should learn Visual C++ before using VB.Net???
I need to learn C++ anyway because of the type of career I'm going into, but I'm just wondering.

Not really. If you enjoy programming in VB6 then I'm sure you'll get the hang of VB.Net as well.

I'm starting to feel the rhythm of VB.Net. I'll be posting a few sample programs after a while.

I'm getting the hang of it more and more. twisted
Don't worry, Void. I'm sure that if you enjoy VB6 then you'll adapt to VB.Net. I can't wait to learn how to make database programs with this thing.

Awsome. I need to get more money to buy VB.Net though, since I just got the Nintendo DS. DS is super awsome by the way.

Awsome. I'll have to try it out when you're done. I've been a bit too busy lately to program much at all. sad With two jobs, school, and driving lessons you get tired pretty easy. I can hardly wait untill I'm in college then I'll learn to program exceptionaly well and learn computer graphics design also.
