I know for a FACT that Edward WILL be in the next book Harlequin ( that is due to release in June/July 2007 ) . How do I know this ,I heard it straight from the horses mouth ^ ^ .
I attended one of LKH's signing and she answered right of the bat ' Yes Edward will be in the next book " and she even gave us an idea of the scene when he shows up in St.Louis . Olaf will not make an apperance in this book , but I think in the future .
Of course as we all know when ever there is Edward there is deep s**t for anita , so you know there will be lots of killing ni the next book .I swear if Anita has sex with Edward I offically hate m beloved series .Anybody share the same thoughts ?

Sex with Edward would be bad, not only would it screw up most of the characters (pun intended biggrin ) it would change Anita's relationship with him.
As for my thoughts on the next Anita book, I think the mother and Bell will play a big part.

Wait Wait WAIT. . .Isn't Edward IN a relationship, with that woman From Obsidian Butterfly? i swear i thought he had someone now, right? the woman with the Little girl and and the son. . . .Plus, Laurell may be heading in the sex area, but i think to keep her best characters moral standings, and plain out, Reputation, ALIVE! If i were her, I would keep whatever good girl rep she(anita) has left. The Ardur is supposed to be getting under control, not Worse. Plus, The books started losing a lot of fandum when the sex became an extreme prominant in the books. Even i got turned off to them for a bit. It would make the books look like smut, not the awesomeness we all know and love. . .
She wouldn't turn the books in to that. it would make anita look like a Slut. It seriously would, That she couldn't even keep her pants on around EDWARD???? Come on the man screams alot of things. . . Raging Hormones, are not of them. He may be good looking, but yea. . NOOOOOOO not edward. . . Maybe they wqill finally kill off Belle Morte? that is my Vote. ..OH Maybe Asher Dies . . No No, it was already stated that she wouldn't kill off a lover, Which would make me cry if he did die. . . .

ok here's my take on the next book...
1. both belle morte and the mother of all darkness will be in it
2. i heard on hamilton's blog that Olaf WAS going to be in this one
3. sex with edward might not be such a bad thing... i mean edward's cool and Donna needs to go. i like her son but her, not so much.
4. i think that anita will become a pan were and this next book we'll find out what that fourth were within her is.
5. we'll get more talk from europe...
and just for the record edward might just have to be there for anita if the ardeur comes out in this next one. and *sniff* if Hamilton kills him it would be an easy way for anita not to have to deal with another man in her life, even though i love edward with all my being... crying

i think if it has anything to do with Marme that it will just be more storyline on her but she won't be waking up yet. on LKH site the listings of the books go in three parts. books 1-8 (or so), books 9-14, and books 15-22. seeing as how we're only on book 15 and there hasn't been too too much buildup on the mother of all darkness i don't think she'll wake up for at least 2-3 more books.
