Rue syncronized his movements in the WhiteKnight to the 909. He wish he knew what to say, but just wanted to hear Nic say more. To say that he wasn't alone, but he would have to suffice with a simple yes... He cut the comm link and flew in silence. He was at a loss...wondering if she felt the same.

After sometime which was only really aminute or so Nic felt she had to give some other answer to Rue. She really did give short answer for a normal person to short. Taking a deep breath Nic went to go switch the comm back on but hesitaed for a moment.

Rue heard a small cackle of the comm system.

"..." Nic just couldn't seem to say anything. What the heck is wrong with me? Nic thought to herself and ended it.

Rue shook his head.
"No point in waiting around"
He smashed the accelerator forward. and clicked on the comm.
"I'm gonna check the front."
His LFO quickly left behind the 909 and the back of the Rehk. He just wanted to fly a little bit more and escape what he was feeling. The cold distance of Nic. He kept going.

"I..." Nic replied dryly...and then just nodded ok in response. 'What the heck... he probley thinks im evil.' Nic finally found the words that she had been looking for "Rue?" Nic asked slowly.

At the front of the ship, Kayako was once again absorbed with piloting Senturi with what to anyone else would be considered silence.
However, had anyone been able to see her, they would have thought it strange that her expression shifted every few minutes, as if she was being scolded by someone.
"But why did I have to take the front??" she thought to herself in annoyance.
Her reply was just as she expected it to be from the experience she had with Senturi.
"Stop complaining....at least we get to fly."
She sighed a bit and looked at her radar to notice that Rue was approaching her from behind. Clicking back to attention, she wondered to herself what he and Nic had been up to behind the ship.

He wasn't annoyed or bothered, but more concerned as if something was wrong.

"Yes, I also feel...free when im up here. Like...you." Nic had finally gotten it all out everything she felt. But it still didn't seem right to her. There was something missing from it all Nic thought to herself.

Rue fell back to his position with Nic.
"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have brought it up"
He felt bad for the sound in her voice was not one of happiness like his own when he talked about the freedom. Why wouldn't she tell him more?

"I wish I could just...There are just osmethings that are better off unsaid." Nic dropped her head and ended the conversation with Rue. Sighing Nic shook her head and slowly looked up through her hair that was covering her eyes. 'If only he could understand.' Nic thought to herself But he does understand. Nics heart told her 'Understands too much.' "Then i do have reason to be afriad." Nic whispered to her self

Kayako looked over her shoulder towards the back of the Rehk where Rue and Nic were with concern. Even where she was, she knew that there was something going on with the two of them. She almost considered clicking on the intercom again and asking Nic if everything was alright, but decided it was better to leave them be. After all, Nic didn't seem like the kind of person who would appreciate her constantly trying to talk to her.
And besides, she didn't want to admit that Senturi had intercepted some of the signals from their conversation. It was bad enough that she'd overheard some of what they said.....but she didn't want them thinking she'd done it on purpose.
Kayako turned her attention back to piloting and brooded about what to do about this.

Nic was starting to feel trapped by this job. Rue was next to her trying to figure her out. Kayako well she had no idea who she was really. And the whole job was to work with a bunch of people that you needed to trust. And trusting people and knowing them are two different things. Neither of which Nic was with everyone there. Nic's mind was telling her the whole time to try and talk to Rue again. But Nic had to ignore it and not let it get to her.

Rue flew next to Nic after the last transmission in silence. This trip was taking far too long, their flight seemed as if it had already spanned great distances and yet they were still going without even a sign of the drop off point. Rue checked all the guages.
"I should talk to her again..."
He adjusted the flight as it was slightly to the left of where he wanted it to be.
"Best not to be a bother."
He smiled.

Nic looked ot at the sky once more before reaching out and letting her hand hover over the comm buton. 'do it and i hae to say something.' Nic's mind said. 'Don't do it and be in wonder' Nic said to herself. "but what to say what to say." Nic said aloud. Before letting her hand rest lightly enough to not hit the button.
