her death was truly depressing crying

Nope,not in the English version of the game.You can't make Aeris alive because she was dead before that and nothing can really be changed.I think you can however,in the Japanese version.Never tried.

a few things to note, she was ment to die in the northern crater, noted by theas reasons

1. when sephirothjumps down from the cealing you can see some trees on the backround that have ben edited to hide them

2. about half way down sephiroth gains gloves wich is a result of further and poor editing

3. the reason sephiroth is coming from above is because he was ment to be falling from a tree (the one he was in when cloud gave him the black materia)

4. if you used the right game shark codes you could put her in your party in a way that she could interact with other charictiors, this being said if you took her into the icicle inn an did snow boarding then as the charictors recover from their landing she makes the statment "Im tired of this" indicating that she should have ben around at that time, any further use of this code would result in the game freazing because she was not ment to be there and was not programed with any lines to say in that situation.

for the resurection theary

their is a cave on the way to the coral city that looks as if you could enter it but their is no way in. indicating that their was eather a rare item or a way to resurect aeris. eather way access was restricted at the last moment.

a few reasons why she couldent come back.

1. plot holes, cloud would have less of a reason to kill sephiroth

2.dificulty, with her level 4 limit break boss fights would become easier

their is speculation that she was saposed to come back that was said to have a special item that you would pick up and when you returned to the chirch she would say somthing and join the party. from what i under stand the desighners were going to bring her back but doing so would take them past the deadline for the relice date so the scraped the entire project by restricting access to that cave. also i think their is more proof for thoes that have the right computer program, you can go through ever data file in the game including maps and text, wich has a little dialoge that apears before she joins the party. and a hidden song that was never desplayed in the game.

one more thing

if you were nice to her during game you can see a ghost of her in the chirch and just as you enter for the split secont that the screen fades in you can see a ghost of her near the flowers. also proven by the computer data system, this probably being a tribute to her, it is also said that the fade in ghost will apear in disc one if you visit her chirch during the kidnapping.

Areis dies, that is that. But can you revive her? with gameshark yes it is very easy, it just makes the game kinda glitchy. Without gameshark? THAT is the contraversy. You know that white matria that falls out of her hair? that was part of squre enix's original stroy lines, you were SUPPOSED to be able to revive her, because that white matria was a "revive matria" of an extrem sort that could revive her. But they were pressed for time so they took out that optin, Sorry! that is how video games go sometimes! stare

I'm pretty sure you dan't bring her back she dies, that's it. But after beating that part in the game I wanted to KILL Sephiroth!! Aeris is pne of my favorite characters. Why did she have to die?

yes you can... it's in the guide book (witch i use for items) well it is like this... why would they make a final limit break for aeris that she get when you bring back to life? it's call great gosple... look it up.

AERIS CANNOT BE REVIVED!!!!

People....you can attain Great Gospel WELL before she dies. And by well before, I mean hours and hours before she dies. And her final weapon is attained shortly before her death in a fashion that makes it not seem like her final weapon. You get it, equip it to her, and work from there. Youre not supposed to know its her final weapon until she dies.

There is also no way of bringing her back without the use of cheat mechanisms such as Gameshark or the Debug room, which would kill your system after a short time. Also, I own all forms of strategy guides for FFVII including the Ultimania Omega translations, and there is no way of bringing her back.
