Raul was starting to calm slowly and it was beginning to show as his ears and tail relaxed drooping slightly. Whether it was simply from fatigue or something else he didn't know nor did he want to find out. Sniffling some as he reached up to rub the tears from his eyes with a soft whine. No. He didn't need to be crying now, but dear lord the memories of everything he'd done in his past had been far too much on his already weakened mind. Rubbing one eye he sniffled looking up at Siax for a moment before he looked away. This wasn't the time for him to so much as voice his thoughts. Yawning weakly his tail twitched slightly. Yep, he was tired though he wasn't about to admit that.
Syi...interesting name. Relaxing again though even more wary of the werewolf as before Kalib's devilish tail flicked as he regarded the other debating whether or not to reply. As vindictive and stubborn as he was he wasn't in the least bit rude if shown the proper manners. "Kalib Draganesti." he said running a hand through his wavy black and silver hair. Now how did it get unbraided and more importantly when? he asked himself before shaking it off. He was starting to lose focus and he sure as hell wasn't paying much attention the wolf and cat now. Truth be told there were a million and one things he could ask Syi though he'd settle for asking one, "Why?" he asked head tilted as he stared at the paler one. He was of course referring to what had just happened, as strange and unexpected as it had been it'd served for making him wonder and grow ever curious about Syi.

Siax chuckled gently and in a sense lifted up the cat, seeing his eyes dropping constently in effect on sleep. He could sense that Raul was most likely exshausted, then again who could blame the cat? Helding for the stairs that led to the upstairs he didnt bother to glance back, what mattered was getting Raul some were, where he could sleep peacefully. Onya floated after them and rested to snuggle next to Raul's face with a small yawn. "I'll be hear the best I can." He muttered gently attempting to be soothing as he opened the door to his room to set the small male on the bed and chose to take a seat beside the bed. "I'll keep watch."
Noding gently to Kalib's full name he watched the vampire as he seemingly was indeed fidgiting. His hair wasn't too unlike his own, although his being a snow white. Kalib's hanging losly Syi disided suited the vampire well. Personally from time to time he would wear his hair in a pony tail, it hung to the small of his back. He never had the time to braid it even if he wanted too. "Why?" He replied gently musing in thought as he touched his hand to his chin. The stark contrast of the black nail polish near his face was uncanny. "You are intresting lets say." A small smirk sliped into his demnor. "Besides, you didn't completly shrink away from me, thats rare." Syi leanded against a near by wall still keeping gaze with the vampire, as his tail just as snowy colored as his hair flicked. The will-o-whisps still floated close by him.

A soft mewling started up from the cat and his tail twitched some as he reached up to stroke Onya's fur. He was briefly beginning to wonder if he could get away with voicing his feelings and/or thoughts and pass it off as simply him talking while he was partly asleep. Shifting a bit he yawned looking at Siax now ears flicking, "Siax?" he might as well as now before he lost the courage to do so.
The vampire huffed slightly feeling just a tad bit indignant at Syi's reply. Though it was mostly due to his pride. The whip like black tail flicked again before it resumed its place wrapped around his left leg loosely. "Interesting, eh?" he muttered softly head tilted some of his hair spilling over his shoulder. "Tell me Syi...just what purpose do those thing serve?" he asked nodding toward the will-o-whisps. Kalib wasn't ignorant...oh no he was far from it actually.

Onya pleased from the attention curled beside Raul, and wrapped his plush tail in a gesture of a hug, or at least that was Siax's opinion towords the small creature he cared for. Siax looked to Raul and into the cat's eyes. He didn't flinch away or shy away, not that he would for any reason time or day. Noding that he'd heard Raul call to him he paused to press a small thin smile on his lips. "Yes?" he asked in a calm tone. What ever was coming the wolf sensed it had the potential to be powerful and most likely tear jerking. He would do his best to be a soild rock in a middle of a raging ocean if needed.
Syi leaned his head back and for a moment stared at the ceiling. His ever blue eyes stared blankly and for that period of time, unseeing in the material plain. Instead he looked into the Spirit World, a plain in which he'd long grown accustomed to visiting weather asleep, or in his waking hours. Finally his face came to stare directly at Kalib, his own white locks sliding forword to frame his face.
"They are a part of me, bound to me in the sense they use my body to communitcate." He frowned darkly at the neast spirit to him, it was interlaced with a black and blue like aura. It was unknown utterly to the spirit caller, he'd never had it enter his body once as far as he recalled. It was an odd fact he chose to exnore often. "Let's say, I was born into a long line of those who communicated with the dead... And more." Underneath the calm exterier of the werewolf there was a bitter note though vague to it's meaning. He'd never been accepted in his village, no living relatives had the 'gift' he'd come into at the age of 5. No...People feared him, regected him, and later cast him to a nomands life which he took to only later to have a fate full encounter with his ex lover who he refushed to give name to even in his mind.

Swallowing some as he ran his hand through Onya's fur obviously distracted Raul swallowed again. Now or never he supposed, "I, um..." dear lord he couldn't even speak straight now, "Aishiteru." he stammered face flushed now quivering ever so slightly. There he'd said it finally and to tell the truth right now he felt if anything rather faint.
"Oh how I can relate to that." he said bitterly lips drawn in a thin line. He could relate alright. His family had been purely about survival of the fittest wealthy or not they were still in the end just as bad as the poorer folk. His fingers twitched and he lifted his hand holding it in front of his face. Sure enough there was a dark redish-black aura gleaming there. Gaze narrowed he let out a soft growl. That little flare in his power was mainly his father's fault. Even now after he'd ended up killing the man he still haunted him.

Siax shook his head unsure of the meaning he'd just been given. Though he could sense it was very important. Sighing he tucked Raul then into the covers he'd often slept in on countless nights. Now it would suit the cat's need, sensing he was about to fall unconcious at any given moment. Onya curled his tail around his face and was content to be held for the now.
Syi refrained from giving a small snort. He watched the vampires aura and could appricate it for it's precence and over all strength. It seemed the color wasn't unquily the vampires own but it didnt matter to much to the spirit caller. Even his was no longer it's vibrate rich blue that had once been his child hood and still favorite color. It was often tainted black, red and deep shades of purple. Not that he minded any of the colors. "Perhaps, I have a younger brother. He was forced to become leader of our village.." The fact he said it out loud to some one who wasn't Fayt made the werewolfs naturally vivid eyes darken to a violent shade of violet. No one would know the child who'd been cast aside he told himself venemtly. That part of him was difficult to cope with he new, but none the less. The vampire he was not that sure of, people use your past to rip you to peices. He finally shook his head making a low mutter in a laungage that was as old as his family ties.

Face flushed still Raul's ears swivered for a moment as he shifted with a weak yawn rubbing his cheek against the pillow lightly. He was falling asleep alright and it was apparent shifting again he sighed relaxing "I love you..." he whispered sleepily finally drifting off and actually not caring whether or not the wolf heard him. It didn't matter he'd said it already even if Siax hadn't understood what he'd said.
Flexing his fingers to disperse the dark aura he tilted his head some turning his gaze back to Syi. Opening his mouth to speak he shut it deciding against it. He had siblings, though after he'd left he didn't know if they were dead or not. He suspected they weren't though he didn't really care. "My younger brother...he died at my father's hands." he said closing his eyes for a moment letting out a soft breath. He'd been the only witness, the only one who'd actually cared enough to try and stop his father. Those days however, were gone and quite frankly he wasn't going to dwell on them for much longer. Opening his clear blue eyes that had darkened to a stormy steel blue his gaze drifted back to Syi.

Siax's brows furrowed in concentration at the word, he felt he should know what it ment, vague stirring in his mind told him it was a word his mother had used once before possibly. Finally his brows relaxed as comphension took place. He...lo.. Siax smiled quietly, that had a strange effect on his he realised. Standing enough to lean over he pressed his lips to the smaller males cheek and again took seat where he had been. Once the deep breathing of sleep issued Siax took the time to focous his gaze on the sleeping cat, the words left his mouth unexpectedly even if they feel on tuned off ears. "As have I..For longer than I've been whiling to admit to even myself." Some time perhaps passed when at last weary ness caused the wolf to lay himself beside Raul, and protectivly shelter him so in effect Siax's back was to the door.
While not so violet as before they still shone from the sudden burst of emotion the werewolf had not expected. He could recall his younger brothers terror to his leaving. The small boy having wailed desperatly that Syi stay to become leader as he was ment too. Ryne (pronouced Rain) as he recalled wouldn't ever be cut out to be a leader type, he was too shy, timid and overly seeked aproval to much. Finally shoving the past aside he let his own gaze fall to the vampires. "Regardless. What causes you to exstend your will unto some one who's quiet litterally terrifed?" His voice held nothing as it had earlier, just the calm, almost cold nature that was considered his netrual "pleasnt" face for dealing with matters at hand.

"You speak of the cat do you not?" he asked darkened gaze leveled on Syi. Of course he knew who the werewolf was talking about. Truth be told the only reason he tortured Raul now was for his own sadastic amusement and to some extent revenge for the scar over his left eye. He wouldn't lie to himself nor to anyone one else, he was sadastic yes and god forbid he get his hands on anyone who'd submit to him. Sighing the vampire shook his hair from his face sitting down blue gaze unfocused and wavering. "Amusement...revenge...sometimes I don't even know myself." he said the tip of his tail flicking.

Syi gave a small smile of his own. "Naturally, It was why I was called upon. Then again." his shoulders moved in a small shrug motion. The werewolf himself wasn't a sadastist but he could well enough understand why people derived pain from pleasure and all of the sort. Chuckling he shook his head. "You say revenge, yet if it were so it would be diffrent." For a moment his gaze turned inwards. "If one truly acts on revenge, or some other means of ill will the effects are not something one can erase. Much like how murder leaves a permiant black stain in aura." Syi watched the vampire and at last came to some conclusion. "Come then." He walked past the vampire and out the door that lead into a forest not far off from there line of gaze. Syi sought to not only get to know the vampire, but maybe just be out of the house. Weather Kalib fallowed him or not he'd still keep walking, it was just south of obvious.

Gaze lingering on Syi's retreating back for a moment the vampire sighed again shaking his head as he rose to follow. He didn't even understand himself sometimes though it wasn't as though he couldn't tell just how dark his aura had become over the past three thousand years. Mostly due to the vampires he'd had to kill, he didn't doubt it nor did he agree with it. Slipping his hands into his pockets he followed not even bothering to hurry to catch up. He would eventually after all he needed his space to think and sift through his thoughts. He'd just met Syi yet he'd spoken about his past so easily, more so than when Claire had asked him. And now here he was following the werewolf, what in the seven hells was wrong with him? Wait scarp that he didn't want to know. Pushing the thoughts aside trying to keep his mind blank, thinking so much would give him a mirgrain or something along those lines.

Enough time passed for Siax to again open his eye. He stretched slightly and looked across at the still slumbering Raul who lay beside him. Leaning his head against the smaller males he murmered "Still sleeping then?" And kissed his check and closed his eyes for a moment to simply take in the fact he was laying so close with the other.
Syi wandered for some time until he came deep into the woods. Finally taking a pause he sat down on a large rock. Some ten feet ahead of them was a large roaring water fall. It was beutiful yet none the less the air around the fall was cold. Looking towords Kalib the werewolf realised he'd found some one he could talk too. Even if the vampire was some what twisted he still felt in some ways drawn to him, much as he had been with Fayt. "Have you ever wondered if Fate is changable?" he asked with a small smile.

A soft murr came from Raul and he shifted a bit ears flicking though he remained sleeping having barely been distrubed by Siax seeing as he was tired from his earlier dealings with Kalib and the others he lived with.
"I think everything is changable no matter what it is." he said with a shrug hair falling over his shoulder the black and silver strands glittering in the moonlight. Staring past Syi at the waterfall he let out a soft breath, eyes glazing over for a moment before shaking it off. "Do you think fate is changable?" he asked directing his gaze back to Syi.

Siax in an unacustomed display of gentleness placed a hand on Raul's cheek and traced his fingers along his facial structure. He knew the cat was still tired and would leave him be. He sat up and yawned shaking his head looking at the clock. He'd only slept 3 hours. Looking back at Raul he wondered what it would be like to have a family he realised. One that cared about you.
((XD; yes I am hinting go me))
Syi pressed his lips together in consideration and looked at one of the orbs that floated beside him. "No matter how meaningless man's exsitence is not without meaning I have discovered." He also gave a small shrug, his silver hair reflected the moons light casting it as more a silver than the acustomed white. "It is changable, only when one goes against the tide perhaps."

(( xD; -fluffs the crazy kitsune- ))
A soft sigh and the cat shifted finally forcing emerald eyes open. He'd been trying not to wake up for the past few minutes but now that he was it was hardly any sense trying to fight it. He wouldn't fall asleep again for another half hour or so anyway. Rubbing one eye sleepily ears down as he yawned his gaze landed on Siax he faint sleepy smile crossed his lips, "Hi." he whispered curling his tail around his legs.
Something unreadable flickered in Kalib's eyes for a moment before it was gone. "I've seen so many say they would change their destiny after visits with seers and fortune tellers. Most of them of course failed, too weak to go against what they knew would happen." tilting his head to one side he gave a soft chuckle, "I was one of them, and as of yet I can actually say I changed my fate." blue eyes darkening he gave a small smirk, "I was supposed to be slaughtered along with some of my friends who decided they didn't like the leader of our clan. I escaped, my friends however weren't so lucky."
