River looked at all the wolves and laid down by Ren, she didn't fear any of them, she had buisness with them, she was like one of those stupid body guards that did nothing but follow and fight if needed.

Why were these wolves suddenly all so... well... stubborn and proud? River wasn't a lone wolf! At least, she would never admit she was. She wasn't proud but she had a family so in her head she wasn't a lone wold and never would be, she kept the thought to herself though.

She did find the new wolf rather amusing though, she kept everything to herself as she wasn't planning to start a fight and anything she would say would probably result in one.

“Ah-“ Ryukkii spoke slowly. “I think I am who I am. Now, you know nothing of me- and considerately, I know little about you. Do not be so quick to judge the rotting body for a creature that does not deserve respect my darling.” But she didn’t seem to be too hung up, and vaguely dismissed it with a paw.

“Your son?” The female drawled. “Hardly a pup now, isn’t he? I do know such a name, although I do not know the wolf himself.” With a slide of her eye, she followed Sirena’s glance towards Carius. “Best not to trouble that one. He understands little and it makes him angry. He says he shall eat me someday, but, I have convinced him otherwise.”

“What does such information have use for you?” She questioned. Ryukkii would tell whatever was needed- but she liked to know, perhaps to the torment of the askers, exactly what trouble she stirred.

Feeling safer with River at her side Sirena did not flinch nor even stir at Ryukkii's words. She did not care for the idiot male nor for this one's ego. So far as Sirena could see it was this wolfess who was in a world of denial. Ren might have been old but atleast she had kept some of her looks.

You are lucky to have survived so long in your condition. For that my respect is yours. Then with a shake of her head she pinned her ears forward and widened her eyes. If you know of my son then you must give me directions to him, it is urgent I find him as soon as possible. The traitor has gone without punishment for so long and I shall be the paw of justice that strikes him down. That is all you need to know.

Then slowly she exhaled and her eyes sought the answer in the other femme's face. She did not want to sound so desperate, but what she hid in her tone was displayed vividly in her againg, greying face.

River was amused.

Why were old wolves so full of themselves? She made a mental not to never become old, they seemed so sour and far too stubborn.

She decided the most interesting of the group was the male, so looking as if she was fully alert that she stared at him, making things seem interesting, males were always interesting. Though this one was stupid? Shame. Then again... no, she was here for Ren.

“Don’t trouble your respect.” The eerily angelic voice responded. “But no matter. A traitor now?” The female mused. Ah, if only she were the seer! Amélie mentioned this Gizmo before. She liked the fellow, but then, she undiscrimatively loved anyone. The fact that she babied her sister like there had never been anything between them was example enough. “Mm.” Ryukkii stretched.

“I like revenge, although I doubt your reason is worth it.” She noted. Ryukkii, although vile, tended to like her “revenge” to have little to do about an individual in her philosophy. Everyone was to blame. She didn’t really hate anyone. But collectively- she hated everyone. She hated them for their life, and the health, and the loving look in the father’s eye. “There’s a great ocean to the west. Two packs make up the border, but they’re both very large and both stretched far. Wolves won’t recognize a placid visitor as an enemy- at first. Wary, well learned. There are seers and shamans in those lands, and they’ll know if you come with teeth barred.” She mused.

“But think abstractly, I am sure you shall go under. Whatever your business is, you’ll find it there." She paused, mostly to catch her breath, as pain had begun to worm up from her chest. "A black wolf runs the pack you want. The southernmost pack. You'll know him when you see him. Leave him on his own and he'll discover the plot, but if you tell him otherwise he'll believe on good faith. He likes to believe too much and he'll not see you as trouble."

Unlike River, Ren had no time for males. Ever since her mate had fallen to the clutches of humans she had become distant from them. In fact where she had found solace in female company she now found only irritation.

She wanted to be alone now, but being alone meant the end of her journey and she could not give up the chance to bring justice. No, there was no other option but to put up with others in order to achieve her goal.

She listened to the broken female with eyes narrowed and ears pulled forwards intently. There was no way she was going to miss any information, not now. Then when it seemed all had been said Ren took a shaky step back and bowed her head. She was a proud beast but one who knew when respect should be given - even if it wouldn't be appreciated. As far as she was concerned this wolfess had given her the target she wanted, she had set her on track.

You do not know how much your words please me. I shall take heed to your advice and travel to the place where the black wolf rules.

Her head snapped round to gaze at the male and Aziz then with a small huff she turned her head skywards and to the stars that had begun to reveal themselves to her.

I guess I owe you my thanks too Aziz, without our meeting I would have been wandering the forest for many days longer. Then slowly she turned her face to the west, closed her eyes and breathed deeply.

What do you say young River? Will you accompany me a little longer?

River had been happy half listening and half dreaming but the mention of her name brought her straight back to the odd little meeting.

"Of course. I haven't much else to do." She looked at all the wolves as if she had only just noticed they were all there and then back to Ren who would without doubt lead her onwards.

The words of a black alpha wolf hung in her mind though. She had given Chip to a black male alpha. He didn't have much then but could it possibly be Stray they were talking about? River hoped not and kept her maw shut. She wasn't risking her sons safety for no one.
