Chieira I'd MUCH rather have reruns than fillers. Occasional fillers are fine, but for this long? In my opinion, having all these pointless episodes is hurting the Naruto anime. I was always more a fan of the manga, but this makes me hesitant to watch the anime at all. As it is, I DON'T watch the fillers, so for me, if they had paused the anime while the manga got a bit ahead, it wouldn't have changed anything. I'd still just be waiting until they were able to put out new episodes. But I'd be happier, because there weren't crappy episodes being made that have no basis in the manga x.x; I completely agree with you. Fillers suck a**, because they ruin a lot of story line. They also have crappy, I mean really crappy animation sometimes. Have you noticed that? Like Naruto's hair... in the beginning of the series it was crazy, but it got better. Then in some shots of the fillers it's like 'OMG there's an URCHIN on his head!'. And they go into pointless little things that well, we really don't care about. Even the manga had fillers, it seems, and that was telling the story of Sasuke's past, and telling how Kakashi got the Sharingan. During the story line, telling about the past of a character usually means that they're going to die. o.o Have you noticed that? With villains mostly. Fillers ruin that too >< It's better left told during the story. And anyway, they've gotten far enough with the fillers and the manga. The fights and all will take AT LEAST a season to get over with Akatsuki and getting Gaara back. That's long enough to get even farther ahead in the manga! I haven't watched the anime much either, only certain arcs I wanted to see bad enough. *Cough*EverythingwithOroandorKabu/Kimi*Cough* XD But once they start up again, I'll watch it. I wanna hear Sasori and Dei!

Creepy I know.
But since we are just AMERICAN fans,
the fillers shouldn't affect us right now since they are in Japan.
They probably aren't thinking about us.
He's just creating his shows.
In a way, if give you more of an understanding of characters.
I do get, however, that we are pretty damn far in the manga, and it should continue.
I mean...

Fillers are cool. Just ignore em them.

^^; Er... the fillers DO affect us right now. Those of us who keep up with the anime even with the fillers have to actually WATCH them, and those of us who don't watch have to deal with the series being butchered. The fillers don't provide insight on the characters because, as far as I know, Kishimoto doesn't write the fillers. He created these characters, so any "insight" provided by fillers isn't true insight. It's coming from someone else. Also, I imagine many of the Japanese fans feel much the same way as we do. Yeah, they live in another country, but they're still anime fans just like we are. The same reasons we have for not liking fillers probably apply to them, as well. XD; And no, complaining may not do much good, but that's what this forum is for: discussing Naruto. The fillers are, unfortunately, a part of Naruto, so there's nothing wrong with venting about it here.

I don't mind some filler's now and then but NOT A WHOLE ******** SEASON!! scream its why i'm not really watching Inuyasha right now and reading the Naruto II sweatdrop manga scanlations. Why over 100 fillers why not just extend episodes or combine them not make up random entire filler arc's stressed

Oh, they'll know that they're fillers. When it gets to the point that a plot doesn't last beyond part 1 and 2, they'll know. Unless they're kids. The Kakashi's Mask episode was funny too XD I cried over Asuma. crying *Burns inscense*
