Ducngu Hey Guys what should I do bout my parents.. I like this White girl but my parents won't let me date her. I don't think they're racist but just Old-fashioned ---------->
well since they are old fasion its going to VERY hard for you to try to change them around.. beucase thats the way they grew up and yeah. but then again.. if oyu really REALLY like her then keep on trying to change your parents mind.. something like.. get your parents to met her. and stuff like that.

All parents are 'old fashioned'.
All parents think their child is 'a child' regardless of your age
I guess they're just worried about you and sadly this over protectiveness makes a teenager rebel as they do ^^ but they're just trying to care for you and keep you away from relationships as long as possible in fear of you being taken away.

looks whose commiting the crime of being old fashioned...moi ^^
anyways just try and persuade them that this is the correct decision- let them met the girl you like and show them how nice she is etc

Why not asking your parents why they won't let you date her. I'm sure they are just old-fashioned, but having them try to list concrete reasons for their belief might actually realize how old-fashioned they are. It's a long shot probably, but why not?

Hmm, that's weird. Most people I know can date and bring their boyfriends and girlfriends home all the time. Then again, how old are you? I began dating my boyfriend when I was 14, and am 17 now. They could just be racist too. Asian people are pretty damn racist, lol. I'm not interested in them, but if I dated a black guy, I think they'd die! xd

I can't date becuase so many of my best friends rant how bad it feels to be 'broke up'. Some how I lost a taste to get into a relationships, they told me that sometimes it takes stress and so much attention. I personaly might not handle those kind of situations verry well.
In crappy JR High, I was 'used' so much, it was not cool. I hated them so much, if anybody else ask me out I dont respond.
I might get into a relationship probably when Im 21. Just only two years away....

Me: "damn it... wtf is wrong the world?!"
Dad: "son... have you got yourself a girlfriend yet?"
Me: "umm... not yet... =("
Dad: "well... the best idea is to hang out with your friends' girlfriends and be nice to them... I'll guess that they might introduce you 1 of their friends to you"
Me: "umm... sure thing dad... confused "
Basically... my parents' are sort of like the parents from "American Pie"
