Akemi......
Akemi found herself at the training hall admiring all the different kinds of environments they could battle in. Of course, she would prefer not to fight. All of a sudden, the floor turned into an ocean, small platforms bobbing around. Akemi felt unsteady and nearly tipped into the water. Using her manipulation, she calmed the water around her. " Don't tell me we're fighting.... " she said, groaning. A wave rose as Akemi brought her hand up and she forced it towards Ken's direction. " That's for changing it without asking us. " she said, frowning. Akemi jumped onto another platform, waiting for it to steady before doing anything else.

 Ken had barely a moment to react as Akemi threw a wave of water at him. His eyes went wide and he gasped, opening his mouth to gape as the water threatened to smash down on him. What had he done to deserve this? He didn't want to fight! He swung both of his hands up and pushed with his mind, holding the wave back and directing it harmlessly to the water instead of to another platform. He glared over at Akemi and scowled. "What the hell!? I didn't deserve that!" A fiery inferno appeared in the sky above them for a few seconds, letting a few drops of fire rain down here and there, but no where near Akemi or Ada. It stopped a moment later as Ken extinguished all the small flames that were igniting on the platforms and the inferno in the sky. "Mine's cooler~" He blew her a raspberry and crossed his arms.

 "Fire!" Ada yelped with fear and, although the fire didn't hit her at all, moved to another platform. It was stupid, she knew, that a fire manipulator's daughter was scared of measily little flames, but Ada couldn't help it. Fire had frightened her ever since she was a child; such a phobia must be unnatural.
Ada called upon the wind to calmly swirl around her. It was to help soothe her panicked mind. She knew she had to think straight or else it wouldn't be long before she tumbled over the platform and drowned. Ada slowly regained balance and sighed in relief. She smiled. "Haha, I suppose I might have overreacted a bit."

Ken felt a little bad after seeing Ada's fear of fire. His body disappeared from sight, fazing into view right before Ada. He leaned over a bit, showing he was sorry with a look in his eye. "Sorry about that, didn't know... If it helps, whenever I'm around, fire won't be able to come near you." He winked, feeling the wind around Ada and knowing it was a bit off. It had to be her power... Ken might have seemed like a thick-headed individual, but he was rather perceptive. "Nor will you fall into the water." He said, noticing her gaze often directing towards the water.

Ada smiled at his kind words. "I should be the one to apologize. It's very pathetic that I've had a fear of fire for so long. After all, my father is a fire manipulator as well. I know I'll have to get used to the flames someday." Her left hand unconciously grasped the bracelet on her right wrist.
Ada saw that her dress was dry and called off the wind. At his next statement, Ada couldn't help but blush a bit. It seemed as though she was frightened of everything, didn't it? "Hehehe," nervously escaped from her lips. "I suppose I'm a bit too fearful for my own good."

Akemi......
Akemi was now annoyed again, not being kind. " If you didn't deserve it, I wouldn't have done it. " she said, glaring at him. She steadied the platform and rolled her eyes at his childish comeback. " I dislike fire VERY much. And it seems Ada does too. " she said, glancing her way. Akemi sort of felt sorry for being rude again but it came and lashed out without her knowing. Lifting a small wave, she stood on it, moving towards the platform nearest to Ada. " Sorry. I seem to be doing this a lot. " she said apologetically and bowed her head. As she came up, she smiled weakly and looked at Ken, her eyes saying ' I'm sorry. '

Ken's eye darted towards Akemi as she popped up on a wave. He snorted and rolled his eyes, taking in her insult and letting it remain in his head, resenting her a bit more from it. When she gave him an apologetic look, he merely crossed his arms and glared at the ground, softening his features before he looked back up at Ada. "No, it's fine. Everyone should be fearful of something. You're perfectly normal. Hey, atleast you look a bit cuter from it." He lifted his hand up before his mouth and chuckled a bit into his fist, hoping to ease the tension. When he lowered his arm, setting his hand in his pocket, he looked towards Akemi and smirked. "You bi-polar or somethin'?" He asked, holding back a slight snicker as he leaned on his heel a bit.

Akemi......
Akemi's eyes turned sharp, looking up at Ken. " Look. I tried to be nice once again. It happens that I get annoyed quiet easily. " she said, getting irritated. Yet AGAIN. I did apologize. If you can't accept an apology, get out of my sight. she thought, furious. If she was in a comic, smoke would be coming out of her ears and a vein would throbbing on her forehead. She sighed and began hoping she could release her anger out on something else away from Ada. She didn't want to lose a friend because of her problem with anger. " If you're not going to accept the apology, I'm leaving. Don't ever talk to me again. " she said, her voice laced with poison. She turned to walk out the door, hoping to find the place where you could cook something or maybe find an inanimate object to destroy. The ball of water that had once remained complete, popped in Ken's hand, the ounce of power put in it retrieved.

Ken frowned a bit as she told him to never speak to her again. He didn't know why it bother him so much... It didn't help when the gift she'd given him popped in his hands. He glared over at her and immediately after, a wall of fire appeared before her, blocking off the way she intended on leaving. The watery surface around them was replaced by the training rooms normal look as he glanced over at Akemi. "You have anger issues, babe." He yelled out, hoping to get her a bit irritated right now.

Akemi......
Akemi scoffed at Ken, seeing as he had blocked her way. She desperately wanted to leave this place. Especially because Ken was there. " Don't call me babe. Yes. I have anger issues. Is that such a problem? " she replied, extremely agitated. She glared at him, her eyes seemingly piercing through him. Or at least that's what she wanted to do. Today was turning out okay at first. But there ALWAYS has to somebody who ruins it. I hate how my life always ends up like this. she thought, nearly breaking out in tears. Her face was showing a resentful expression but inside was painful. Memories of her parents rose to the surface and she frowned, trying to brush them aside. " Well? You have me nearly on the verge of crying and I'm angry. How much more do you want to ruin my life? Not that it was that good in the first place. " she asked, fuming as her eyes started to water.

"Akemi." Ada's voice was soft. She felt sad that the two acquaintances were again lashing out and didn't feel even a little happiness as the training room was back to normal. Ada was especially touched when Akemi actually started to cry a bit.
Ada tried thinking of what to do to make Akemi happier. "Perhaps we should go to a place that Akemi would love." She decided that might be a good idea. It was Ken's choice to come to the training room, after all.

The fire died almost instantly after he could see the sorrow in her eyes. His face softened and he frowned, letting the fire completely die out. "Whatever..." He muttered on his breath and turned away from the two girls. He clenched his fists, feeling completely crushed from making Akemi cry. He glanced back for a mere second before his body phased out of view, disappearing and appearing next to the door, already reaching out to open it. Once he had, he left the room without another word, not wanting to be around Akemi if all he was going to do was upset her. He shut the door behind him, looking down at his hand which still held water from the orb she'd given him. He looked up for a moment before teleporting again.

Akemi......
Akemi let a single tear fall and she quickly wiped it away. Her anger disappeared, as did the flames blocking her way. She moved over to where Ada was, leaning on her shoulder. " Thank you. " she said, smiling weakly. It was nice that Ken wasn't being mean to her anymore but she wanted to apologize for her actions. She swiftly moved over to the metal box, one of her wings slightly fluttering as the other one stayed rigid. She pressed the box a couple of times, the scenery flashing back and forth. First, it was a forest, then a place with no ground. Akemi looked down, feeling extremely scared. She quickly pressed it and then the ocean appeared. A small orb of water was formed, a small space inside it. Then, she inserted a small plushie, the size of a key chain that looked like a little turtle. She had a pink one and she had put a green one in. She put a power lock on it and inserted a little bit more of her power. The power lock was to ensure that she never popped it again. Gesturing her finger at Ada, she returned the room to normal and walked out the door, hoping to find Ken somewhere. (( Exit to Main Courtyard. ))

Ada wasn't sure exactly what Akemi was doing until she saw her use the ocean room again. She smiled. Akemi was going to apologize to Ken, and then everything would be all right again! With one glance at the terrifying turned normal room, Ada followed Akemi. Ken couldn't have gone too far, right?

Mika looked at the man slumped over the lobby desk.
"Oh dear." she said, eyeing his appearance. Creaping towards him, she carefully removed the burning cigarette and put it out in the ashtray.
'Don't want to start a fire.'
Mika read the sloppy note then turned to Austin, "What's the difference between a personal training room and a private practice room?"
