I just finished watching it. At the beginning I think it was good. But towards the end, it was too predictable and I didn't like the fact that Saito and Louise got together. But there will be a season two. Although I'm not necessarily looking forward to it. I'd give it a 6/10 because it's somewhat unique and there were times where I thought it would all turn out good.

Anime Name: Samurai 7

Anime Description: After a long war between merchants and samurai a village finds itself (like other villages) the victims of merchant greed. The nobusari (warriors of the merchants) constantly invade stealing food and women from the villages. One village, Kanna, has had enough and has sent their Water Priestess to retrieve 7 samurai to protect the village. Based on Akira Kurosawa's Shichinin no Samurai.

Anime Name: Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna

Description: Ayumu Narumi's older brother Kiyotaka, a famous detective and pianist, disappears without a trace. Anime Name: PeaceMaker Kurogane

Anime Description: The story is focused on the main character, Ichimura Tetsunosuke, an energetic, short, and very childlike 15 year old. Sadly, he and his older brother are left to fend for themselves after the vicious murder of their parents. While Tetsunosuke wants to get revenge, his pacifist brother is not so inclined. Interstingly, the story develops when they take refuge working defined jobs in a special police force called the Shinsengumi, where his brother is an accountant and he is a servant to one of the groups leaders. While there, Tetsunosuke will attempt to get stronger in order to take the revenge he so desires, but he will be confronted by the hardships that are involved with becoming that powerful.
This anime is a definate for history buffs!!

Anime name: Aria the Animation

Anime description: On the planet Aqua lies the watery city of Neo Venezia, a tourist hub in which people travel around in gondolas. Professional gondoliers known as Undines are well-revered as they act as tour guides for the people. Akari Mizunashi is a gondolier in training and also an employee of Aria Company. She gets to meet all sorts of people as she takes them on the gondola rides, from friendly mentors to special individuals, all this admidst the beautiful scenic backdrop of the entire city.

Anime Name: Petite Princess Yucie

Anime description: Yucie, really a 17-year old stuck in a 10-year old's body (she has a curse on her), would do anything to become her age. When she hears of an oppurtunity to become a chosen Platina Princess, and then have the power to use a tiara that grants a special wish to the Platina Princess once every 1000 years, Yucie goes for it with clear determination.

Anime name: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Description: On one hot summer day in 1983, a transfer student named Maebara Keiichi comes to a peaceful rural village in Hinamizawa. There, he befriends his classmates Rena, Mion, Rika, and Satoko. Accepted as a full-fledged member of the "club," Keiichi and the gang plays all sorts of activities ranging from card and board games to hide-and-seek. But just as Keiichi was beginning to be assimilated in simple rural life, he stumbles upon the dark history of Hinamizawa. As Keiichi dives deeper into the mystery, he finds that his new found friends may not be all what they claim to be.

anime description: Out of a fire clan, one boy who was supposed to be the head was a wind clan person so his rival becomes head and he is abandoned. He comes back and trouble stirs up.

Baccano!

Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy

Overveiw:
"Baccano", which Narita translates as "stupid commotion", is Italian for "ruckus". Each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control. Immortal alchemists, mafia operated speakeasies, and many other elements of pulp fiction mashed together for a world straight out of the movies.

Plot:
In 1711, a group of alchemists seeking eternal life gathered on a boat to summon the "demon" that held the secret. The demon agreed to give them what they wanted—an elixir of life, the method to create more, and the secret to ending their new-found existence. The following night, alchemists began disappearing, "eaten" by one of their own. Realizing the threat being close together posed, they decided to scatter across the world.

Centuries later, in Prohibition-era America, the immortals have come together once again, and the "stupid commotion" starts.

Note: I am at episode 8 and I still don't really have a clue what is going on, but it is really enjoyable! It switches back and forth between different times A LOT! but after a while you get the hang of what is going on in what year.
