"I- I think it means you can't become a god," he murmured with a shrug, "Maybe he just didn't want to tell me how, I don't know. Athrun is the god of lonliness." Wahabu nodded matter-of-factly. Then he went back to considering what Kubwa had suggested about their mothers being goddesses in disguise.
"I don't think mama would be able to keep a secret like that, wings would be real hard to hide wouldn't they?" He tilted his head and squinted as he tried to imagine having huge wings and hiding them, "They'd be good gods, though!"

"I want to be a god, too bad I wasn't born that way," he said matter of factly a sneaky smile spread across his face. Maybe he could ask a god himself one day?
"Want to play a game?" Kubwa yawned slightly, he didn't want to talk as much anymore he wanted to run around and have fun, maybe even climb a tree? "I'll race you up the tree?" He giggled and his soft cub laughter was something that the gods themselves could not create, it was pure and innocent.
Without waiting for his friend's response he started to edge towards the very tree he had fallen from.

Wahabu gave a half-shrug, half-sigh. He'd never really been too worried about being born the way he was, not even when he'd met several gods. Of course, the cub wasn't aware of the immortal quality to the gods, and if he knew the true nature of one side of his family he might feel otherwise.
"A game?" the yellow cub perked up immediately, grinning widely, "Ok!" He agreed to the tree-climbing game without considering the fact that he hadn't spent much time trying to climb trees. Truthfully, the cub wasn't exactly sure how to start. He did what he could, meaning he bounded after Kubwa to the tree- and then he waited to see what the white cub did.

"It's really simple, all you have to do is dig your claws into the tree and pull your self up," the white cub could sense his new friends hesitation. Kubwa had been climbing trees since he was born it seemed; well only when Aadil wasn't looking, she was so afraid he would fall. Well, he had fallen, and look he was fine! He was a rebel, and hopefully his mommy never found out.
"On your mark..get set...." he grinned and tensed up putting his claws against the trees bark, "GO!! The first one to the top wins.
(Sorry it was kind of a bad reply, but seemed more like something a race would start like.XD)

Wahabu listened carefully to Kubwa's instructions and nodded to show that he understood them. He lifted his paws and looked at them carefully. The claws he found there almost surprised him, for he'd never really had need of them before. No need that he noticed, at least. He was more aware of his sister's claws than his own.
"Ok!" he cried, smiling and preparing to start the race up the tree. His yellow body tensed when Kubwa instructed him to get set, and his paws went to the tree. As soon as he heard 'GO!' Wahabu's claws were dug into the tree and he started trying to pull himself up.

Kubwa knew what his claws were for, escaping, and running. As he tore up the flesh of the tree his lower half seemed to dangle, he did not dig his hind legs into the tree.
His eyes on the sky he was excited and thrilled to have someone beside him playing one of his favorite games. He hoped that Wahabu would want to play another time, maybe even meet Kip and they could all play together!
He slowed his pace, waiting to see if Wahabu would beat him, or if he would have to step up and try harder.

Wahabu pulled, but couldn't seem to get his body moving from the ground. He only seemed to be stretching, so he turned to see what exactly Kubwa was doing differently. Unable to figure it out more just by looking, he did the only thing he saw- and that was stretching his front paws up as far as he could, and jumping so he was forced to dangled behind him. Instinctively, though, his back paws moved to the tree trunk and he froze. He paused long enough to give the other cub a good headstart, then he finally removed one paw and started pulling himself upward. His pace was much slower than his practiced friend, but he went slow and steady for the most part.

Kubwa decided to allow his friend to win, for the sole purpose of making sure that Wahabu would want to play again, besides it wasn't /really/ about winning! So he slowed his pace to a mere crawl and pretended very cunningly to get his claws stuck in the flesh of the tree.
"Do you think we could play again?" he questioned as he pulled his 'stuck' claw from the bark.
He scrambled to a small branch, the did not look as if it would hold his weight for long. The light colored cub looked like an extremely disproportionate bird trying to perch on a branch, and failing. He wobbled slowly and giggled as he did so.
"You win.. I think!" He grinned cheerily.

Wahabu continued on in his slow and steady pace, one paw at a time. He had a hard time going any faster, not being used to exerting himself like this his claws almost felt like they were going to be torn out. The bright yellow cub didn't notice when Kubwa slowed down and pretended to get his claws stuck, and despite the help this offered him he barely overtook the other.
When he reached the same level of a branch, he had no idea how to get onto it safely and instead watched sa Kubwa did so- clinging to the tree for dear life. The branch didn't look strong enough to hold them both, though, so he stayed.
"Um- Um- great," he murmured, looking down and clinging tighter to the tree, "I think I need to practice more if we're going to play again.."

"You seem uncomfortable, we can get down if you want?" Kubwa was worn out anyways, he had enough of playing God, of playing rebel, he was pretty sure that he wanted to go home, or at least sit down. Being graceful would never be in the rough and tumbly little boy's nature and and he gracelessly scrammbled to the tree's base on the other side of the tree. Peeking his head out to see if Wahabu was doing alright.
"We can practice together, or do something that you like to do?" He thought of other things the could do, race, swim, maybe even chase around Kip, or maybe Wahabu could get daddy to talk a little more than usual.
"Want to meet my brother? Or I could meet your family?" he spoke as he clung to the tree in the same manner that he climbed, his front claws digging into the bark and his hind legs dangling.

"Ok," Wahabu murmured, looking back down the length of the tree trunk and gulping. How do you get down without falling? Shaking slightly, he unstuck his claws and started trying to crawl backwards down the tree. It was a slow process, and his claws gave out when he was just a couple feet from the ground- which was luckier than losing his footing higher up. He tumbled down, but easily recovered.
It was nice to be sitting on the ground again, he decided. He looked up towards his friend, grinning, "I think that was enough practice for right now! We should do something else."
Wahabu paused when Kubwa made some suggestions, and tilted his head thoughtfully, "Is your brother nice? My sister is really mean, I don't think you'd like to meet her."

Kubwa plopped down beside Wahabu and noticed for the first time that he had little black spots on his shoulder, spots were something Kubwa had never seen, he of course had seen stripes, but never spots. Silently he admired the colors his new friend had, he found his white fur to be far to simple, but in a way simple described him.
"Kipanya is very nice, he's my brother! Siblings have to be ni..." he trailed off realizing Wahabu said his sister was mean, "Why is your sister mean? How is she mean?" Kindness was the only thing Kubwa had been shown in his short life, and he willingly was kind to everyone or thing in his path.

(( Oh, the story Wahabu will have for Kubwa when they next meet XD ))
Wahabu blinked at Kubwa as he sat down and just stared at his shoulder, or so it seemed to the brightly colored cub. He never had thought his spots were very interesting, but he'd never really thought about them. He took a moment to stare at Kubwa's fur, he was a very bright white color- it was certainly very different from his family- they were all bright yellow and blue.
"Really? Lucky," he replied when Kubwa described his brother as nice, and tilted his head when he almost said siblings are supposed to be nice. What was wrong with Kilango, then?
"Kilango doesn't like to play much, and she woke me up one day to say I had to listen to her," Wahabu explained, "She threatened me about it. I don't know why she does it, I just try to avoid her."

"Kip doesn't talk much, he's like my daddy. My daddy nevers says more than one word!" He giggled and for a moment thought that he heard his father's voice telling him about the sky, Mvumo always spoke slowly and always knew exactly what he was saying, Kubwa admired that.
"I think I should get home, it's getting late and mommy will worry," he smirked looking up at Wahabu, "meet me at this tree some other time?"

Wahabu made a face, wondering if it would be better or worse if Kilango didn't speak. It was probably better that she spoke, she'd be a little scarier if she didn't speak. Then his attention goes back to what Kubwa said and he tilted his head.
"That's odd, my family's not very quiet," he shrugged, he wondered what Kubwa's family must be like. Wahabu wrinkled his nose- he'd have to try to meet Kubwa's family sometime. He grinned over at Kubwa when he announced it was time to go and nodded enthusiastically to the suggestion.
"Ok! I'll be better at climbing next time," he declared bolding, puffing up. His legs were starting to feel better, so he was about ready to head home himself. He could tell his mother about his new friend!
