Syn was perplexed. Someone who knew how to tell stuff like this? He plopped his bottom on the ground and was silent. Did he know anyone? Karm followed the God of Fate... She probably wouldn't know anything. Just say "It's fate's will that you both were to meet!" or something like she always does... And then.. nah, no one he knew would know... "I don't think I do..." And then, taking a leap of faith and follwoing Karm's good leadership, "Maybe it was fate that we were supposed to meet and not know and try to find out but never really find out?!" Wow. He was dumb. How did what he say make sense at all? Maybe Zel would understand. He probably would if they were actually related. Or maybe he'd atleast... know Synapse meant to say something good?

Zel gave him a look that very clear displayed the expression 'wtf?'. He thought about knew Syn ment good, but stuff like fate wasn't something Zelanithus put alot of faith in. "Maybe we can find someone. I suppose you can pray to your god for answers...." He trailed off, He wanted to say he could pray to his god too, but....Did he have a god? He knew his thoughts but could not think a name for them or even a remote manifestation of any kind that resembled the things he wanted to believe in. It wasn't like he hadn't searched either... He hated being godless. The things he felt in him, they were as bright and loud and colorful as his own pelt. But such a thing as an actual physical name for it? He could think of nothing. "...There has to be some way to figure it out."

]"I'm not sure the God of Citrus can help us here much. Unless our problem is fruit related. But we have enough of that hanging over our heads." Syn looked up and the orbs floating above them, the juicy fruit waiting for a cruel malu to take them. "But I do agree... there must be some way to figure this out." Syn sighed. This may the first time in his life he ever felt so sad. Normally things didn't ail him so. But this problem was just too big to be shrugged off his bright orange shoulders.

"Some-one else we can see perhaps? Someone must be able to do something to get this straightened out." Zel thought and looked back at the temple. "It's probably best we head for the temples, especially if we're looking for somebody." As ridiculous as he felt he wondered if they could some how make the situation fruit related to solve the problem. But in the end he figured it wouldn't work anyway. Unlesss their parents were fruits. Which he reaaaallllly hoped they weren't.

"Do you think someone there may know our parents? Or atleast know if we're related? Maybe we'll find MORE siblings!" Syn laughed and started hopping away to the temple. What if he, they, had more siblings? What would they all do? Would they all look like one another? All bright and colorful? SYnapse tripped over a stone as he hopped, but continued on his way only moments later without even noticing he fell. He stopped and turned to see if Zel was following. "Com'mon Zel! We have no time to lose!"

"Possibly. It's not like we have any other way of finding out." He thought about there possibly being more of them. More siblings? He questioned whether or not they would be more like himself or more like Syn.
It had never occured to him that he might have siblings till recently. So, the thought that he had one, he was nearly certain anyway, was a big thing.
When he pulled out of his thoughts he saw that Syn was already headed towards the temple. He saw the malu fall and get back up as though nothing happened. He followed after, a bit less enthusiastic than his brother. "Alright I'm coming. Give me a minute."
((Shall we have them meet a random elder Malu that knew the parents or something?))

(( That's what I was thinking... So let's do that. Maybe in the shrine to the God of the Past? Who knew them somehow? 8D ))
Synapse was extremey excited byt he thgouht of finding out he actually DID have a brother. When he was little, he would waddle around and dream of frolicking with other malu his age, malu related to him in some way. But that dream was always just a dream until now. Now, his dream was almost within his grasp. Close enough that he could smell the flowers that were crushed under the paws of he and his siblings in his dreams.
"We don't have all day!!" Syn yelled back, still walking quickly in the direction of the temple. "Well, actually, we kind of do. But you never know who we'll find now versus later!" Syn stopped, only for a moment, as he pondered who they would ask, who they would look for. The temple was a big place, and it's hard to find one single person. But Synapse ignored this as he started walking again.

((Excellent idea. biggrin ))
Zel thought it over carefully. There had to be someone they could ask. He had soon caught up to Syn and was walking along side him calmly. His pace much more neutral than the happy run skip Syn had built up.
"That's true." What god could they ask that would know about this? Or rather, a follower of a certain god to be exact. God of Parents? Doubtful, as sure as the many kinds of malu there were he'd never heard of any shrine along those lines.
...Weren't most shrines actually representing an idea instead of something tangible? He thought on this as they headed for the temple looking occasionally at Syn trying to sort it out.

Synapse thought about this as he pranced along toward the temple, his malu kin beside him. He wasn't sure himself what kind of God a malu that would have known their parents would worship. "Well, maybe we can just look for an older malu? An older malu would be sure to have known something! As all elders spend a lot of time in the temples and within the packs meeting everyone." Syn bounced as he spoke, his head also bouncing much like that of a bobble-head doll. Personally he didn't know of of the elder malu. But he had seen them before. "Do you know any of the older malu? I don't think i do." Syn couldn't help but blurt out everything that came to mind, he was too excited.

"That might work... Or possibly someone who follows the Gods of Pasts or something... I dunno..." He trailed off thinking about it and listening to SYn talk and skip beside him.
It was a weird concept. A brother. It was amazing how the thought had never occured to him before. A brother.... Hmmm. He didn't know just how exactly this changed his life other than it did.
"No I don't know of any elders. I'm sure we can find one."
He continued on, he was a little excited even though some part of him told him he shouldn't be. That he shouldn't get excited about such a thing until it was proven. But it made him want to know a bit more about the past. Oh well. He'd sort things out after he had all the answers.

"GOD OF PASTS IS A GREAT IDEA!" Synapse hopped up and down again, excited and bubbly. "I think I've seen that shrine before..." He thought for a moment, trying to figure out where he may have seen it, finally finding it in his memory. "I believe it's in the north wing. Toward the first built part of the temple." He started to wlak more quickly, looking back at every step to be sure Zelanthius wasn't falling behind. It was strange that they could possibly be related. They seemed so different.

"...Yeah I guess it is...?" He had jumped by Syn's sudden exuberant out burst. No matter. He would just have to learn to deal with it. Not like this malu was going away any time soon...Right?
"Yeah...That sounds about right to me." He honestly had no idea. He had never really went anywhere beyond the music temples and a few of the other revelry pack shrines.
He wondered about his parents as they went, making sure to keep up with Syn. Why had his parent's left them? And why weren't they left together? Or were they, and they were seperated? "....Hey...Uh...Syn.....Do you have any idea why our...parents uh....Left us?" He wasn't used to asking questions so personal. He was more of a get up and do it type person rather than ask questions and wonder.

Synapse jumped into his answer, his mind working quickly. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe i got lost or something and that's why i was gone. And maybe then they went looking for me and then they got lost and never came back? I don't know." He pasued and slowed slightly. "My earliest memories are from when I was with the nature pack, eating fruit. ... Do you have any ideas why?" Synapse knew he was bad at reasoning through things, so he stopped trying to make sense of their parental situation once he gave his best guess. By now, they were only a few paces from the main entrance to the temple. And it seemed so foreboding, and the fact that they were to find someone that they didn't even know, that they weren't even sure existed, gave Synapse some butterflies.
