Don't you just hate it when you're winning by a lot and everyone just leaves?! This has got to be the 10th time today.

Winning? If so, thanks! Gonbe Yeah, great! More people should come, it's more fun with more than 2 people. Always. Gonbe Don't you just hate it when you're winning by a lot and everyone just leaves?! This has got to be the 10th time today. I try to stay with the noobs and let them pass me sometimes and just kill the snakers, so no, I don't know that feeling.

To be honest, I am a snaker. Well, a newbie, 2-day-old one. I excitedly signed on Wi-fi on my first day and promptly got my a** kicked by a snaker. So I learned how to snake myself, since it seemed the easiest way to beat them.
I do tend to hang around if everyone is a newbie, but then on the last lap I get a bit carried away and tend to take off. And then there are also the people who are terrified of losing and disconnect if there is the slightest chance of them doing so.

It seems to be working! Now I stay behind the leader for 9/10ths of the race, then hit them with a red shell and pass them to win. They stay the whole race! (The snakers still leave, though.)
You actually have to brake and drive off the road to stay behind some of them, though.

What warping trick? Oh... right, that. It shows up weird on other players's screens I think. You just cross over the cloudy bridge while jumping the gaps.

You're really just hopping over the clouds like me? So, it just looks like you fall off, then immediately appear on the track again, then warp a little bit more up the track?

How is it that you seem to magically seem to come up with a leader shell at the end of every last lap? (When I'm in the lead...)

Meta_Fish YelloBoi How is it that you seem to magically seem to come up with a leader shell at the end of every last lap? (When I'm in the lead...) I use strategy? Either that or I'm bullshit lucky. You get better items at the end, and the ROB cart has max items, so by staying near the end with that cart, it's pretty much assured that you will get a good item. At least, that's sometimes my strategy in 1v1, but it doesn't work so well because I don't drive as fast and the Drybomber's items suck. That, and I'm a very tempermental player... I end up driving right off the road when I'm tense. It's damn near impossible to beat him in a 1v1 because you're in last place if you're just three feet behind the leader. AND he can snake with that cart. I have this weird feeling that you were letting me win the time we drew. Edit: By the way guys, my emblem is cute, no? I spent a lot of time on it, rofl.

I once raced Fish. I lost every time. Then again, I've lost to everyone I've raced on Wi-fi. Except I beat my cousin in DS Download play! mrgreen

I'll race somebody. I'm pretty good I think. Also, do not fear about disconnectors, as long as you finish the 4 races, you still get wins for however many disconnected.
