It's the fun part. Myself, I hate the tracing.

Next time I'll do an ink overlay to completely avoid that problem.

You know Holly you should try Open Canvas sometime. You can color ontop and underneat a scanned lineart without needing to removed the white background.

I think the reason why you can is cause the program's layers are transparent and that whatever colors you put under or on top will show through. Except black... There is darkening as you pile the colors in different layers though.
