Pheonix Starlight looks really nifty. So what is it about? Not much is known about it except that it takes place in the Taisho era, will be a drama, and has 2 male leads.

The scan looked AWESOME.......if only I could read japanese sweatdrop ......
but it looks amazing anyway. Does anyone else think the two male leads are majorly hot? (well, they always are xd ) Dang, I love Yuu Watase!!!!!

This volume was just packed with extra goodies >^^< The AnC Gaiden and this as well just made me squeal with delight.
And oh my god... Souma... hoooooooot! XD I'm really excited about this new series since it definitely has a totally different feel from what we've seen from Watase-sensei so far. I can't wait to find out more about it in volume 8. It makes me a little nervous that it looks shounen-ai since that's WAY off for Watase-sensei, and it's not something I ever like, so just going to have to sit tight and wait to see what she comes up with. But for her to have a series with a main character that's not a female is surprising. Sakura Gari just looks like a whole new branch from what we're used to, so this is kinda exciting and nerve-wracking eek

wow this is new. lol. Most of yu watase works leads are female so this time its a male lead intreresting! and yaoi too it seems. how very, very interesting. i hope it comes to america soon...which prolly will take about 2 or 3 years...since its not a serie yet in japan, right? sigh.

Yep, no real chapters released yet, but very soon... My palms are positively itching for Perfect World v8. I personally hope it's of the BL flavor as I love that stuff. I just knew U-sensei was a closet yaoi fangirl (if those sketches she did of some of the FushiYuu boys were any indication). 3nodding
Oh, and on a side note, I'm a bit sad that the character cards are about done. Wonder what new stuff we readers will get next. Maybe she'll save the Byakko 7seishi cards for later when she works on their story (and you just know she will).

hmm... I'm not too sure exactly what I think about this. I mean i totally love Yuu Watase's work but I'm this isn't what I was expecting. I guess I'll have to wait and see after it comes out in the US. But I'm not really a BL fan so...

It's a magazine that's released in Japan every couple of months that serializes old Fushigi Yuugi chapters as well as the new Genbu Kaiden chapters. It comes with some random goodies too, like postcards, posters, and character cards (my personal favorite). It's full of interviews and whatnot and apparently, Watase's new series Sakura Gari is going to run in it.
Basically, it's a magazine dedicated to all things Fushigi Yuug.
